Bubble Gum Crisis returns!!!!--with a thud that is. Bubble Gum Crash picks up about a few years later from where crisis ended. Priss is getting her career off the ground,Linna is scoring big in the stock market, Nene is still stuck at AD police. Everything is just peachy.
oh yeah and Sylia is missing in action. Everyone has seem to have become so involved in their own lives that the have forgoten about being knight sabres. There are even talks of going their seperate ways.FUBAR!! With all of this besides, there is a group of psycopathic soldiers,calling themselves the illegal army, going around wreaking havoc.What'll happen?!Who knows?!!
The episode starts off freshly with a very kick-arse opening. it showcases some spiffy CG while Sylia reads off about Boomers,Genom,etc. Then some spiffy hand-drawn animation takes place and gives you the feeling that this is going to kick arse. Thats where it stops. BG-Crash#1 lacks alot of things. The voice overs(er... the voices of the original japanese actors)have changed for the charecters,or at least it seems they have. The animation(which was so lovely in the opening)has been demoted. Not only this, there realy isn't all that much of an awe inspiring. It seemed as if they were just wasting time with some out of s**t story until the episode got Sylia back into the picture. Sadly Crash one does little to live up to the bubblegum name. with out a real story this thing really tends to just be an appetizer for something else. oh well hopefull it was just stalling for something.
