This is the News Archive, If you really need that explained to you I suggest you invest in a Thesaurus or Dictionary. I will take News posts from the main news site at my whim. The pictures accomanying them obviously go poof sometimes, I will try fixing those, but honestly thaey are far from being on the top of my priority list.
How far does this go back? To the days before I actually MADE a news page! Though it starts in July, I actually started making the Jar sometime in June. Just thought making updates would be a good idea.

August 27, 2003 - Beware the abrasive computer worm-type thingy!
Well, I’ve noticed some glitches with Angelfire. Hooray. It has something to do with using apostrophes. This has happened before, but not with this kind of regularity. While on the topic of computer issues, there’s this… WORM. It’s be nicknamed “SoBig”, which sounds kinda kinky, but it follows the usual worm pattern of being a network aware worm that violates all it comes in contact with. Tragically enough, the vile thing seems to have yahoo in its clutches as I and numerous other people are struggling with the fiend trying desperate to spread its nasty worm-seed all over our computers. If I happen NOT to respond to your emails, don’t take it personally. Anything that looks suspicious or is from some unknown source (and many KNOWN sources) are branded as guilty correspondence in my inbox witch-hunt and dealt with accordingly. Don’t be discouraged and if you really want to contact me make your subject say something like “What up, Tek-dawg?” or at least that uses a greeting and Tekyu in the same line. I’ll be very paranoid about mail for awhile, but since I’ll be doing a lot of email checking on Macs, I’m not too worried. You can also find me on AOL Instant Messenger every now and then under the screename Tekyu.

August 26, 2003 - Conscientious Objector brimming with monkey worship
Well folks, it's that utterly agonizing time again. It's back to school and it is of course with utterly incomparable delight that I start the semester anew. Actually my new realm of study is actually LIKE a college as opposed to my last school which has become a haven for illegal aliens and fellows going to community college as some part of their twisted probation. Actually... it's basically been dumbed down to a crappy vocational school! o_O Anyway, this looks to be one of my most enjoyable college experiences to date. Very swanky.
On a less personal note, I've gotten several reviews churned out which are going through final editing touches (which many of my older reviews could probably use) on anime like Sorcerer Hunters, Sorcerer on the Rocks, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Spriggan and a few other titles. Then there's a particular review submission on ZOE2, which has been giving me some trouble when I've tried loading it up.
As for recent updates, I've been doing some work on the Bubblegum Universe. Fixing some links, merfing with some code, updating news on BGC merchandise and availability like vinyl statues and the uber-sexy limited edition aluminum case for the Tokyo 2040 series. Shortly down the road I'll be shelling out reviews on the original AD Police Files and the Total Crash Collection by Animeigo. But for the moment, look around and see if thereÕs anything new, if you see any problems I'm all ears and I love hearing feedback, so please drop me a line!

August 4, 2003 - MARRIED to the idea!
It is with teary eyes filled with joy and relief that I congratulate my dearest friends, MJ & Kristen, on their engagement over the weekend (Saturday to be accurate). Wow… While I may have said “’Bout time!” several times after hearing the news I’d been hovering over my phone waiting to hear, I have to admit it still feels odd knowing that it finally happened and their marriage is imminent. Woo. Tingly. I’m so happy for them I’m getting all weepy and blubbery just stewing on the topic.
So to move on to something less emotional for me… OR NOT! OTFCC HAPPENED!!! And after blowing more money than I actually HAD at Comic-con, Tekyu had to miss out >_< Now I’m just another one of the suckers who’s bidding feverishly for the convention exclusive Sideswipe (Retool/recolor of RID Prowl), Roulette & Shadow Striker (Female retool/recolors of RID Sideburn in a 2-pack) and am entertaining the idea of doing the same for the hotel exclusive Sunstreaker (Also a retool/recolor of RID Prowl). And to rub it in further, those who attended got the first crack at the Unicron figure as he made his long awaited retail debut! In the meantime I, like the sucker I am, am unable to get ahold of Armada Overload, Skywarp and Tidal Wave because of my lack of funds and it’s killing me. Simply because I’m THAT much of a nerd, I see them in the stores and I start babbling to myself as kids and parents watch in wide eyed astonishment as I audibly generate a puddle of self pity to wallow around in and then throw internal tantrums which involve me throwing myself physically around the toy aisle and beating myself silly. It’s not a pretty sight. I did the same thing when I didn’t have the cash for Jetfire when he came out. I’ve got nerd powers beyond your feeble carbon based comprehension, don’t question it, just kiss the ring and BUY ME STUFF!!!
Er. Not that me getting any more stuff at the moment is all that great an idea… Considering that I now have to clear some crates off my bed each night before I can sleep kind of clued me into my dilemma. Of course, the moment I got “clued in” was when I dropped the crate on my foot and fell into a pile of promotional swag & figures and was literally swallowed up by said pile, despite the fact that it looks like some sort of toy aisle and comic kleptomaniac nests there. It’s like waking up to a really weird nightmare. Most of what I’ve been doing besides haphazardly preparing for school has been getting lost in my many piles of STUFF, trying to find things to sell, toss, burn and give away. I’ll try listing this stuff on the online yardsale, but I’m far more inclined towards getting rid of it all in one fowl swoop. It’ll be messy, but I think one GIANT and extremely affordable auction is just what I need. Things ranging from Final Fantasy figures in various sizes to Stealth Voltron to my GIANT Aurra Sing boxed book/figure set and so much more. Actually, I’ll list some higher profile items on the yardsale and put the rest up for sale on eBay in a few lots. Check out the Yardsale today and email me at tekyuinajar@yahoo.com if you’re hot to see a digital pic or just have any various little questions. If you’re wondering, I don’t put up pictures because it totally kills my bandwidth. I’ve also got several things to sell off for a friend so keep checking back for news on sales and seriously, if you want to haggle then HAGGLE. This stuff needs to go!!! Compromises will be made all over the place so check it out or you’ll be getting the flaming bags of dog crap! Don’t incur my wrath, fools!!! BUY MY SHIZNIT!!!

July 29, 2003 – GAH! It burns!!!
Wellll... First off, I'd like to express my sincerest condolences for Bob Hope. A man so kind hearted and funny that he could make our brave soldiers laugh in the face of death and damn near anything. A credit to our country and to our species, he will be sorely missed.
On a completely different note, you ever think you could overload on Sailor Moon? Apparently... it's possible. I picked up an advance copy of the Uncut Season One boxed set at Comic-con and left it sitting around until over the last three days I devoted more time than is probably healthy to watching all 43 episodes in the set. Now it wasn't until the seventh disc or so, that my composure melted away and I went from getting teary on occasion, to loudly sobbing in time with the music and it went full throttle on the last three episodes. Anyway, after going through ALL the bloody things I felt remarkably relieved!
To celebrate my finally getting through the set, I popped in one of my two Troma souveneirs from the con, Terror Firmer. Now reading the back of the case, one might get the impression that this was at least FAIRLY straightforward, but the outline on the case fails to mention the unyielding assault on your eyes by a movie that redefines pointless. It's amusing, but the pretentious theme of "making art" which is brought up often in the movie is one of the principle tangents which the Troma Prez himself goes off on. It's difficult to classify these movies because they're almost like porn with a story awful enough to match and horrifying stuff at levels I'm not comfortable with thinking about, much less seeing on a screen. Not to say that the movie isn't amusing or that I'm not a pervert with a penchant for some occasional ultraviolence. But These guys cross the line everytime, I can't watch a Troma movie in one sitting because after seeing enough projectile vomit and overly violent massacres I need to stop so I can eat and digest, or at least try and not throw up. I also nabbed Toxic Avenger 4: Citizen Toxie whilst I was there, Mr. Kaufman went out of his way to promote this at last years convention during the Troma panel and I bit. I bit hook, line and sinker. It's more of the same, mindless violence with gratuitous sex, fart and fecal gags and retard jokes. The funny thing? Sgt. Kabukiman is as much of a lush in real life as he was in the movie. How sad is THAT?
I'm still recovering from San Diego, I know many of you are jumping on planes to this day from convention to convention, but I really don't get out of the city, much less out of the state much. And the arid climate of my hometown is an unwelcome change from the salty sea air from San Diego. I'm still writing up my little report regarding all the crazy events that went down when I was there. Still haven't gotten my pictures developed. >_< Anyway, just thought I'd give you guys a heads up that I'm working to get some more reviews up and will have some new stuff hitting the yardsale in the next few days. And on an entirely differnent topic altogether...
Attention all Keebler Elves!
Especially that snot nosed nephew or whatever of Ernie Keebler!
Your attempts to make us believe in your existence are futile. No matter how much Fudge, Butterfinger or Marshmallow you spray on cookies, we do NOT believe in you. Accept this or make the ultimate sacrifice and begin sandwiching yourselves between the cookies and among the fudge or whatever filling.
Then and ONLY then when we hear your pitiful screams begging for your lives as you approach our gaping maws and taste that warm, tangy crunch you little green wearing lumps of high-pitched protein will provide, will we EVER be arsed enough to believe in you.
So unless you are willing to sacrifice your numbers to the cookies or will, at the very least, torture and mutilate that horrid, triggerhappy, varying-cream-spraying elf kid and THEN sell us the E.L. Fudge cookies (preferabely stained with his blood), will you get the satisfying results in sales and maybe some belief.

July 21, 2003 – The Swollen Ostrich returns to the nest!
Well folks... I've made it back alive despite the best efforts of idiot cab drivers, broken down buses, smarmy hotels, incompetent Convention management and of course... Myself. Comic-con International was spiffy to say the least, but there are now SO MANY people going there that it's almost impossible to go anywhere or get into anything unless you go out of your way to spend time in lines as opposed to enjoying the convention. Not good. In any case, I'll have a HUGE rant on that in a day or two, I'd like to give a shout out to the goddess quality Sailor Jupiter cosplayer who was kind enough to grace us with her presence ~_^ Made the convention worth going to, I'd show a pic but my crap camera buggered out on me and didn't load the film properly.
Not to say that the host of other attraction weren't pretty damn sweet as well. Ran into some voice actors, checked out a couple of panels, bought enough Anime to keep me watching for months and I have enough Comic-con exclusives to make me gag. I'll mention more here later when I can find the time.

July 6, 2003 – Mi Pantalones es en fuego! Mi Espanol es muy feyo, no? Chupacabra mehor!
My weekend was an odd, topsy turvy one as I finally got a look at the fabled Desert Ridge Marketplace out in what I believe to be Paradise Valley and I finally got to see the long lost Cine-Capri theatre which was the one good thing about the crappy Harkin’s Theatres chain in Arizona. Naturally, it got torn down, but they resurrected it and currently it is showing Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines in all its awe inspiring, metal crunching, ultraviolent glory! YARRRR!!!!
I’ve recently come down with the Grand Theft Auto obsession that overcame me with GTA3, only now it’s with Vice City. I snagged it for $30 over at the new super Wal-mart and have been playing it on an all too regular basis. It’s like finding some old friend again and seeing that for the most part they haven’t changed, they’ve only grown and developed a much dirtier mind. And the cheats I’ve found don’t hurt the game at all, in fact much like GTA3 it only enhances my pleasure! To vent frustration for a failed mission, I usually start a widespread massacre usually after arming myself to the gills and spawning a Rhino tank. I’ll HOPEFULLY churn out a review for this before I take off for San Diego to visit this year’s Comic-Con. I’ll be pretty easy to spot as I’ll go out of my way to make myself tacky with Transformer swag. I’ll be interchanging hats and shirts, but I’ll always be wearing something Transformer related for obvious obsession related reasons.
Finally, I’d like to give a little shout out to mah’ darlin’ Lucy, who turns 20 years old today! ^_^ Happy birthday love, I really hope you were wishing for a rambling, peanut butter obsessed, crazy monkey… because that’s what you’re getting, dammit!!! :P

June 26, 2003 – Monkey love you long time! WEEEEEEE!!!!
Popped in Unlimited Saga, because I keep praying the good stuff will eventually show up if I'm patient... After spending a couple of hours pulling my hair out in a dungeon, only continuing to play because I hate myself... it becomes clear to me that's just not going to happen... hence my newest rant. Considering the cloud of stress I just shed, I thought a celebratory primate pic was just the ticket, hence the picture above. I'm working on Kevin's reviews still, but coding those and being anal about grammar is just one of those things I've barely had time for. It took me a few minutes to crank out my Unlimited Saga rant, but it takes me at least an hour to scour over another person's work. I'll finally be able to set aside some time for that this weekend though. As for other pursuits, I'll eventually have a slew of reviews for:
I've also got to re-write my Metal Gear Solid 2 review, among other things. Spruce up the jar, add some links, etc. Basically, poke around for new stuff at your friggin' leisure.

June 24, 2003 – Apparently the end IS pretty friggin' nigh!
Hey folks, it appears I've been away for awhile! Well, most of it has been work related >_< I've been overwhelmed to say the least, it's my own fault, but since I am human the first thing I naturally seek to do is blame someone else... like the other people at my place of employment who uh, throw bugs at me... to distract me because I'm such a hard worker. Hey, sounds feasible to me!
In any case, I've been out of touch on a number of topics... >_< Harry Potter, My Birthday, Dumb and Dumberer, The Hulk (opening night crapfest! WOOOO!!!!), Matrix Reloaded & Animatrix (which rOxOrs my sOxOrs), Sales abound, Reviews spewing from my anus (I'll be consulting a doctor on that), Mind blowing Transformer news and... wow... a lot of stuff. O_< But between sickness, the gym, a wrist injury (which I swear has NOTHING to do with mastrubation...), epidemics among family and neighbors not going gently into that good night, I've been otherwise occupied. Too occupied and in fact, too stressed to keep up with my daily requirements of bastardry!!! I've temporarily taken leave of the PSM forums until I've got just about everything else squared away. Besides I spend wayyyy too much time around there anyway >_<
Let me start off with something slightly more recent... Unlimited Saga. Square Enix's second American child is easily one of the most stupifyingly disappointing games of this decade. Not because it sucks outright, but because if you're one of the few who followed the Saga Frontier games, you'll notice an abundance of similarities between it and its PSone based, prissy and effeminate brothers. Saga Frontier and Saga Frontier 2. However the differences are only skin deep as the game is utterly devoid of anything worth defending. They couldn't even manage to keep a decent battle system going and now the whole damn thing is plagued by some godforsaken slot machine demon! ARGH!!!! It has a Final Fantasy X-2 preview which is actually really cool, but nothing playable. I've got a rant almost finished for this wanker of a game and if you're still considering getting it because Square owns your body and soul or are just desperate for more SF glee, you REALLY ought to read this first. If you don't want to wait, then just rent it! Believe me, you'll thank me.
I caught a Sneak Preview of 28 Days Later earlier tonight. I'd heard my friends refer to it as "Resident Evil done right", but upon closer inspection this was definitely more "Silent Hill in what's left of England" than Resident-anything. It's a very odd mixture of things and it all leads back to a monkey, as it always does. It's not the least bit scary, but it has a few suspenseful moments and is more about sheer horror by concept, rather than by constant scares. According the the overhyped reviews which blather on about it "re-inventing zombie horror" or some such hogwash obviously never watched the movie as it pretty much just dumbs down the so called "zombie horror" and makes you more afraid of the normal people than those infected with the Rage virus. In short, this is Zombie-lite at best and makes me even less inclined to visit England than I was, simply based on the fact that they keep English people there. Much like France actually keeps French people there, which is a mightily magnificent deterrent for me.
The Hulk was pretty cool, but I'm never going to the Harkin's Theatre at Metrocenter again. If the idiots running the place actually watched the lines they'd understand why all their showings kept being "oversold". Not to mention the idiots abound who took their babies to a loud-as-hell movie at 10:30pm and the fool who couldn't seem to keep his spanish jabber for all those moments WITHOUT important dialogue... ARGH! TEKYU SMASH!!! But... YEAH! The movie! When it was good, it was damn good. When it was bad you were too busy sleeping to notice... Ironically, for a movie about a big green guy who just smashes everything to holy hell, it sure was weighed down by a LOT of boring unrelated crap and couldn't decide what direction it was trying to go in as a theme. It dragged like sitting in an overcrowded proctologists waiting room with clowns and cannibals for an anal probing by a camera; only this camera would be piloted down the hershey highway you refer to as your anus by a giant, super powered, angsty, bullet-proof, foul tempered, green guy. Ouch. The worst part is that you had to wade through 45 minutes of Bruce Banner's angst before you ever saw the Hulk in the first place!!! Yo, Ang Lee! Are you stupid or just too oblivious to understand the movie's appeal in the first place?! People wouldn't go to see "The Incredible Hulk on ice" for the pretentious melodrama they've heard so much about. No no... it's all about the panic filled smashing and the "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry" bits. We bit the hook because we expected an INCREDIBLE Hulk as opposed to a Slightly Inedible Hulk. Much like the only thing that could get me to a monster truck rally would be the fire spewing, car eating, Robo-saurus, the biggest reason we wanted to see Hulk was to watch him tear the state of California asunder! See him bash battalions and throw people left and right on a constant basis! And most of all, we were eagerly looking forward to him spouting "HULK SMASH!" as opposed to Hulk's only 2 lines in the movie which consisted of "Puny human" and "Take it all". And what brain donor made Bruce Banner's father into Absorbing man?!?! And what in the seven layver burrito is that garbage near the end of the movie with his dad???? O_< Seriously... Whose leg do you have hump to get at least a tolerable recreation of an already available story that simply needs to be boiled down to 2-3 hour long origin/smash-fest?!?! O_<
FINALLY. As for the site? I'll be catching up on what I can manage in terms of stuff relating to... oh... you know... all those bloody reviews I'm so behind on ^_^;;; Besides that I'll finally be getting around to some links that sorely needed posting and otherwise get back on track or at least make it look stylish attempting to do so. ~_^ Yar!

May 21, 2003 – Heartbreak totally sucks...
Well folks, I'm finally out. The cram is over and I'm going to get to work finally putting up all the reviews I've had to put on the back burner thanks to School. You'll have to forgive me if I don't leap right into the flames just yet, I had to say goodbye to my dearest lovely Lucy along with my school. She had to return home to Tuscon for a host of pressing reasons and I have to stay in Phoenix, it kills me even though I knew it was going to happen when I started seeing her... In any case, I need a little time to mourn my loss. I'll try and get as much done as I can, but I'm not going to go out of my way for the moment.
Speaking of Reviews, there may be some new faces adorning my rant/review page. Kevin makes his return with not one but 4 reviews, Plus a new face makes an appearance with a look at Zone of the Enders 2 and when I've dealt with their works (including some I haven't mentioned as of yet) I will attend to the orgy of Light gun PS2 reviews I've been working on in secret for titles such as Vampire Night, Time Crisis 2, Dino Stalker and more.
I'll be out of my mind with depression for awhile, but if you've anything you'd like to chat with me about then drop me a line. Sales are still going on despite my being emotionally distraught so check out the yardsale and I'm checking my email fairly regularly now that I've lost a few emails to overflows of spam in my inbox. If you haven't heard from me after kindly dropping me a line, that'd probably be why. Anyway, I'll be back for more punishment on and off... Catch me in all my bastardry at the PSM forums (Via the PSM website & Delphi) as Tekyuinajar and until next post folks, may the monkeys be with you and your donkeys well fed.

April 20, 2003 - The Easter Monkey hath landed!!!
Well, things with my girlfriend have been twitchy lately. She's been getting a lot of uncalled for harassment from her family so I've been in a less than excited mood to review or even post! Actually, this is the first time I've been back at my webshell in awhile! In the coming weeks, I hope to rectify this little issue of me not spending enough time on the site >_< But with my lovelife being full of sorrow, I've been needing a lot of angst time. Work's been piling up as usual and school is coming to an abrupt close this semester! O_< So the heat is on! At the rate things have been going, it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume you won't see much new or finished by May >_<
I promised many things for the Online Yardsale, but have only a few things to add... >_< Sorry. A web Diver figure (galleon the dragon bot), a few varying Beast Era figures, and basically whatever I've got the time and patience to list! If I pop in again anytime soon, that's where you'll be seeing most of my work done. Remember folks, if the nline Yardsale arouses even the slightest bit of curiosity then go ahead and click the the picture above my news posts, or click THIS LINK directly, and browse around.

April 7, 2003 - Oh... my... god...
You know folks, slacking like this doesn't happen by accident. It takes drive, focus and a LOT of whimsical indifference just to hammer such a constant state of inability into one's skull casing. It's come to the point where I start yelling at someone (who ends up being ME) for not taking certain things down, not listing this, not editing that and so on. Today's hissyfit was all about the "Happy Holidays" BGC Tokyo 2040 pic at the top of the page >_< I put that up I think sometime mid/late December of last year and now I find the thing's still there, like I'm going to catch you guys by surprise with it by the time the holidays roll around THIS year. It's about as clever as those Year-round Christmas shops and those annoying come-and-go Calender stores.
In any case peoples, I've got a small list of things you'll be burning your eyes out with eventually. The list being that of reviews soon to come:
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Those'll be the next round of anime reviews I churn out, so keep thine eyes peeled.
In terms of Yardsale items, it's been awfully bleak... so I'll have that fixed by the end of the week. Plenty of things that simply NEED to go. And I'm looking to part with some good stuff as well so give it a gander as I'll be tacking things on throughout the week. It'll be awesome. ^_^ Trust me.

April 2, 2003 - Behold the effluvium dunk-tank!
I'm in the midst of all sorts of chaos right now, bizarre urges to... you know... BUY things! The most attractive offender right now would be that Yamato VF-1S 1/48 scale O_< I want it so bad I can taste it. ARGH!!!!
In any case, good ol Kevin has kicked over a review of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance which I hope to have up sometime before the weekend. I don't have a lot of faith in my ability to have it ready before then, but hey... that's why there's alcohal!
On a more comic related note, I've STILL got an arseload of comics to load off, and I've decided to sell LARGE amounts of stuff in order to pay for much LARGER stuff like Valkyries, Re-issued Transformers and the usual. A lot of stuff is going to appear on my yardsale (click the picture above to jump there). Mostly old Transformers and various Japanese goodies, but in any case there's a lot that will be showing up there. The rest goes straight to eBay.

March 24, 2003 - Awards? What Awards?
Wow. Apparently while I wasn't caring, the Oscars went down. Down the toilet. When I'd heard about the self-righteous peacenick actors, who seem to assume that their celebrity status puts them above having any loyalty to their own country, were going to wear duct tape and lil' peace pins I said something along the lines of... well, I'll refrain from posting what I actually said and just say that I decided that something as pointless as the Oscars wasn't worth interrupting Fox News War Coverage for. I did hear that some Jackass (not sure who though) went up to accept his award and was booed after he dissed the USA.
Speaking of idiots who deserve booing, I went out about the town over the weekened and just when I naively thought my state was populated by nothing but sensible people... then I remember how many of my all too gullible friends were convinced that the draft would be reinstated because we would really need THAT MANY soldiers to deal with a country smaller than most of our states that one Hydrogen or Neutron bomb couldn't dispose off in minutes. They said the moment they sniffed the draft they were high tailing it to Canada o_O That's just sad, not that they were suckers, but they were so sincere about jumping ship. But anyway, I was rambling about protestors when I started this... Yeah, so I'm meandering around a strip mall in a fairly upscale part of town and there were about 80 or so obnoxious, less than peaceful protestors demanding people honk (which they didn't). They touted signs that said such poetic and moving statements like "Bush + Dick = Fucked" and hassled just about anyone unfortunate enough to pass by. In a stark contrast, about 10 or so people carrying signs supporting the war effort laid claim to the opposite side of the intersection the protesters had gathered and then the honking just didn't stop for their side! And the supporters were cool, calm and nowhere NEAR as aggressive as the freaks running around screaming in peoples ears with the megaphone and throwing fake body parts at people. I've come to the conclusion that these people are just ignorant, after you get them ranting and raving and defuse them with just a little logic, they explode and either follow said explosion with a huge apology and confession of a sobering realization or they just storm off letting all that logic slip away. That and they hate Bush. What's wrong with Bush?!? He's not holding up International traffic at LAX in Air Force One so some fruity hair designer can come in and style his hair for $500 of taxpayer money, He's not perjuring himself in front of the nation or going out of his way to prove he's White Trash like good ol' Clinton did. Clinton lobbed some missles and there wasn't an ounce of protest, then Bush comes in as a REAL president who actually does his job and the left wing goes ballistic about everything he does when everything he does is good for the country and the world! What-the-hell?!?!?!?!?!? It was Clinton that made me change my political stance and now when I join the republican's because they actually make sense (mostly) and don't confuse politics with liberal ramblings, the media (mostly CNN) goes nuts! Just because there's a Republican in office!!! The Democrats are constantly trying to draw attention AWAY from the fact that Bush is doing a good job by pointing out things that Clinton didn't even have anything to do with, like the economy for instance! Anyone remember Black Hawk Down? Yeah, that was Clinton's wonderful job as our Commander-in-Chief in action. Bosnia, Kosovo, etc. THERE'S the magic of the democratic party. Liars, hypocrites and the biggest organized group of confused mudslingers I've ever seen. While the republican's aren't always much better, at least they're sensible and down to earth comparatively speaking. A good 'ol "Dub-yah" is a shining example of a good president, and his minor character flaws like occasionally uncombed bit of hair or his occasional stutters show that he's human and he's sincere. Unlike that slime, Clinton. So for all you annoyingly over excited freaks claiming that NO WAR IS GOOD or that we should try to understand these people that branded us all as "infidels" a LONG time ago despite the fact that they don't care IF we understand them since they're already committed to killing us all, Go read a damn book. Research what parts of our Foreign Policy set them off, like defending Israel from all the bloodthirsty monsters who want to KILL every last one of them simply because they're in Israel and we try to put a stop to crazed suicide bombing palestinians who hate Israelis for living on land they claim was theirs in the first place (which it wasn't) and otherwise the USA trying to keep at bay evil creatures, not unlike the ones who made the September 11th attacks, who will try and kill everyone in our country for being what we are. A nation of liberty for Men and Women of all races, of all religions and of the equal opportunities we represent. They resent us for that. Don't believe it? Check up on it, not off of some ultra liberal whack-job's website or even that of some right wing, militia freak! I mean an encyclopedia, a trip to the library where you won't have your gullible mind influenced by those who have axes to grind. Knowledge is power folks and at least %95 percent of you sign carrying freaks are quite powerless. The other %5 just want attention and are easily swayed like sheep. Sad.
Wow.... I haven't ranted like that in awhile. Guess this should be my brand of coffee from now on, eh? On a less passionate note of mine. I've got a reviews for GIANTS: Citizen Kabuto on the PS2 from Kevin B. coming along with some older reviews I thought I might as well finish up. I'll be posting some PSone titles like Lunar, Suikoden and well... mostly Japanese RPGs. Not to mention various figures like the Sega REAL MODEL Evangelion Unit One I've completely failed to mention, along with Kubricks from Evangelion and Armored Trooper VOTOMS as well as some misc Macross related pieces like model kits and Vinyl statues. So my reviews are apparently NOT dead and some things I'll just have to rant about. Speaking of Rants, what the hell happened to Virus Buster Serge?!? It was awesome (but still hitting the same chord of lameness Gowkaiser did) fan-subbed, but Manga saw fit to utterly ruin the poor thing with one of the most awful dubs I've heard... ironically, since Gowkaiser! Picked up the first Guyver DVD too, I noticed on the Manga videotapes that they felt compelled to radically alter the voices (which was a good idea in Guyver 3's case because it was fairly obvious that he was played by Agito's voice actor. But even though Guyver is one of my all time favorites... It's not safe from the ranty!!! o_<

March 21, 2003 - A man truly wishing for peace, had best be prepared to fight.
That's a quote (albeit a less than anal retentive recreation of the actual thing), can't remember the name at this moment in time. But a good one, nonetheless. At long last the USA took the initiative and is currently storming Iraq along with British Forces. I am still sickened by the hypocritical BS spouted by these self righteous twits yammering nonsense about War never having solved anything or being utterly without purpose. Is it due to cowardice? Ignorance? Sheer stupidity? Or perhaps some childish need to throw tantrums about things; particularly that no one cares for their absurd and lofty ideals. In any case, I've been waiting to see this for a long time since the first Gulf war and am pleased to see the positive response from the Iraqi peoples. It's a truly moving event for me. That's why I get so riled up by these idiot protestors, half of them who truly do not understand what's going on to begin with. It's as if they forgot about things like the Revolutionary War, the Civil War or even the World Wars. Did they all of a sudden replace history books with recipes for fried clams or something? To hear these kids preach their bullshit, you'd think they were from a completely different planet!!! I am disgusted to be in the same country as them. Naturally, my urge to kill is rising. But then they'd say my bloodlust had something to do with supporting the war efforts, which it doesn't. I'm just big on violence and an iron fist of justice, I'd nuke the entire Middle East to green glass if given half the chance... That's why I'm glad Bush is a much better man than I and HE’s the one in office.
But on a less war related topic, I will temporarily hold all reviews I'd previously intended to unveil on my site and instead keep them as fodder for the Newsletter my friends and I are putting together. I will be managing a review database online for everyone to view t he se re views after they appear in the newsletter, for those interested I will be plugging this site extensively when it's finished. In the meantime I will simply post reviews from my stable of online staff.
Finally, in Macross related news. I'll be getting the Masterpiece Fokker VF-1S... I know it's crappy next to my Yamato Strike Valkyrie (and the 1/48 jumbo Yamato VF-1S I'll be buying in a couple of weeks), but the packaging and just the fact that it's good ol' Skull Leader Fokker makes me lust after it. I wants it so bad I could burst at any time! My… precious…. o_< I'll also be putting down the $$$$ for the booster/armor set for the Toynami masterpiece VF-1S and Miriya's VF-1J as well. Anyway, it's all good over here, well except for the hike in my workload at work and at school, my spring break consisted of extra work days and well... yeah, the one day off I had I laid in this pile of clothes on the floor of my messy room and stared at the ceiling thinking of things I still had to catch up on at work. >_< Besides that I've been playing a lot of Chrono Cross in my time off, it along with Metal Gear Solid are the two games that I could not live without on my Playstation. Final Fantasy is my baby, the remakes and everything up until and including FFX, but Chrono Cross is just... perfect. I love it. I'd forgotten how good it was since I gave away my copy to my best bud, Xavie. In any case, I've got a lot to do right now and I'm still kind of behind on my shipping of stuff (mein apologies to those who are expecting packages still, mostly Aine ^_^). But in any case, I'll try and update again later this weekend as soon as I tear myself away from the war coverage. Please forgive the weird spacing and broken images/links due to yet another glorious angelfire hiccup. I'll fix that as soon as I can.
Tekyu in a Jar wishes to express its support and prayers to the troops in Iraq, do the justice you were sent in to do, come back to us safely and may God bless each and every one of you. Good luck and godspeed.
March 12, 2003 - Touched by a Lobster
Well February's almost over and... Say what? It's already march?!?!? Where'd all them weeks go? And why do I have a marine buzz for a hairdo?!?! Er... well, to be brutally honest, I've been out and about for some time. O_< Mostly school, work and... stuff.
But it's all bee n for a worthy cause, I and my friend Ben (Emperor Joker) have been looking into get ting a bi-weekly newsletter going. Thus far we've had a lot of issues with format and such, but we're going to try and get it out and about before the end of March. So if you're in the Phoenix area, watch out ~_^ We're looking for gamers, young and old and those with interests in stuff such as anime, Action figures and swanky import stuff! We'll also be trying to arrange contests, tournaments and such so people can be u p to date with the videogame/card/RPG events scheduled in the valley. For the moment we're looking to focus mostly on games, anime, action figures and so me Japanese import stuff.
In regards to mein Jar, I've got a few more reviews to post, FINALLY finished up the Blood review in the rant area and I've got a few more I'm currently cooking up and I'll be getting the Robotech VF-1S Masterpiece sometime next week if all goes well. I may have some more to post so check back here soon.
February 17, 2003 - Daredevil, Not as bad as expected!
It was great! I didn't expect a movie on a par with Spiderman or X-men, but it's still a great movie! Definitely suggest you check it out. But you know, it's funny... About until a week before the movie came out I just started noticing how many people regarded Daredevil as their favorite comic book character... I never thought much of him myself, I always found time to poke fun at the "blind, yet not so blind" fella. He can taste your skin from yards away but he can't distinguish the color of your shirt! DUN DUN DUNNN!!! W hat was I talking about? Ah yes! Funny! W hat's funny is, half of these people who are all of a sudden regailing to me their intense love and loyalty to Daredevil I've heard do this same little tap dance for Spiderman. Exactly the same thing! I don't bring it up of course and hope to blackmail them for it at some time or another, but still it doth amuse me greatly. The foolish sheep.
Well people, it's been a chaotic time and now we must play catch up yet again! I've two reviews that have been left on the burner! One in particular, Blood: The Last Vampire by MamoruAlpha has been sitting around for FAR too long and will be posted sometime tomorrow. I've got some of my spruced up reviews up and in the Toy review area, I've put up a little listing/rant on the Toynami Robotech lines along with a brief comparison putting the Masterpiece collection VF-1A up against the Yamato Su per VF-1S Strike Valkyrie, I'll be doing a full on comparison when I have the VF-1S in hand. I realize now that I've procrastinated about the links again... WONDERFUL >_< And ditto for some of the messy dead links. Grrrr.... But besides those, I've got some more DVD s to review and some other fun things in store for you people just as soon as I get my silly are caught up! o_O
Taking it down a brief notch, I'm going to have t o apologize to all those who've tried my cellphone and gotten nothing. As I'm sure I've mentioned before, if you took a turd and ran an electric charge through it, then jammed in an antennae, you'd have a much better cellphone than mine. And as of late it's gotten worse, MUCH worse. The frickin' thing is freezing on me now making it a serious pain and major communication problem. It'll be taking an annoyingly substantial bite out of my paycheck and time, trying to replace it, which should be much, much fun. If you call and do not reach me, then you've two alternatives, which I know for a fact I've outlined to those of you I would trust. One involves: a gun, a fez, some gin and a horny monkey. The other: a phone. I won't be getting as quick a move on as I would prefer in terms of either the phone or site improvements due to lack of free time and disposable funds presently.
February 6, 2003 - Monkeys make me laugh
Well, I'm FINALLY getting some time to manage my stuff so I'll be multi-tasking more and more. I've had to set aside web-work for my studying and it's been duller than fresh fish(?!). I've just got ten a little more access to my home computer lately where I edit/read/write reviews and I'll be using this time to make notes and finish up as well as establish a few deadline for my reviewers and myself as soon as the site is up to snuff. Been playing DOA XBV so much my thumb is killing me >_< It feels like I'm a hair's breadth from carpal tunnel sy ndrome o_O So to alleviate this I'll avoid typing for awhile and stick with some reading. Until next post my friends... keep coming back and drop m e a line if you find something out of place or... well anything! I loves me some email!
On a more personal HAPPY FRICKIN' Birfday to mah' mom and sis! ^_^
January 30, 2003 - Bouncies & Kevin Spacey! WOO!
Wow!!! It's been a busy and well... crazy time since last post o_O In the madness that involved registering, being purged from the system due to lack of payment and re-registering and payin g by the skin of my teeth for college this semester >_< Besides that there's tons of Armada stuff I'm behind of (well... Jetfire and Scavenger anyway) that I've been holding out for before I get to rantin', I got a sampler awhile back for Fruits Basket and after the comic con preview I finally go t a peek at Noir courtesy of Newtype Magazine USA. Plenty of ranting and thoughts of mine I just *NEED* to share with all you spiffy people.
Now jumping to recent events... About 2-3 weeks ago (my track of time is terrible) I was invited to a sneak preview of The Life of David Gale and after which Kevin Spacey hisself meandered out for a Q & A session! Funny guy! He basically acts just like the part he played in L.A. Confidential o_O Weird! But he's funny and weird enough my stupid questions (intentionally stupid, mind you) made him laugh! :D Yay me! There were some people with cameras and stuff there so they might be putting this on the DVD so if ya'll are lucky you might catch Tekyu asking about the bannana scene in K-PAX, the Sheep doll (from The Life of David Gale) and his cuff links :D
Then the other tidbit of exciting news... I got Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball!!! :D I've got a whole rant on this one already in progress! It's like the NBA Jam of volleyball with its less than technical attention to the rules of the game and like a game all it's own with its weird interaction between and among the other girls and the gift giving factor. But before you begin to think that I bought it for the gameplay and the, er... water effects... It's not. I bought it for 2 reasons: 1. I love the DOA series! 2. I'm a pervert! Shouldn't be too much of a surprise, I suppose. WEEEEE!!!
In other news, I can't stress how much I DEMAND you people go see Nuklear Power's 8-bit Theater and then there's the more notorious Penny Arcade. There's some more stuff I've got to link and show off. I'll try and finish up my staff reviews and put them all up later today between my studying.
OH! And if you're wondering why I've got the crappy, blurry pic of my Meryl/Snake boxed set up for this post... there is NO reason a t all. ^_^
< P>
As a horrifying revelation reached me this morning, it appears that RARE (creators of Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, DK Country, Conker's Bad Fur Day and more) have been bought out by Microsoft (filthy scourge of Silicon Valley). While I'm happy to see that there are already 5 games being cranked out as I type this, I'm far from happy to see beloved Rare having ANYTHING to do with MS. >_< I do hope this doesn't mean we'll never see another Conker's game. TO be brutally honest I only care about this because I want, no NEED, to see more Conker!!! CONKER IS LIFE!!! Well... actually he's a potty mouthed little squirrel who starts in an equally potty-mouthed game with very "mature" surroundings.
Big Howdy to Aine-chan out there! ^_^ Read the prior posts and trust me that you'll have an easier time emailing me than calling these days %-P Tekyu's almost always working, going to school, trying to hook up some buddies with stuff that simply MUST go, doing homework, working extra hours, or often watching the puppy >_< She's cute, but man is she... hyper. So anyone out to contact tekyu should try him at tekyu@hotmail.com like it says at the bottom of every page :) Thankfully this semester is almost over, so I'll be free in a matter of a month or so.
NOW for some less personal matter s at hand, I'm waiting impatiently for confirmation on my NEW TRANSFORMERS comics that I'll be selling in the TRANSFORMERS AREA (I'm still taking orders on both regular covers of issue #1!!! email orders to tekyuinajar@yahoo.com). Got New Year's COnvoy i n for review along with Megatron, Starscream and God Ginrai as well a Convoy list comin' up! Everything's Transformers these days which I'm not minding at all as I impatiently await the arrival of ARMADA ^_^, and I'll also be putting up some McFarlane stu ff up for sale along with a host of figures that need to go. Carded, loose, an' boxed. Keep your eyes pee led for the next update on when the Online Yardsale will rise again! Anime reviews? Heh... uh, I think I'm gonna call in some outside help on that s ince I barely have time for totally inanimate objects ^_^; Got new linkies coming up. NEW STUFF! :D Hooray dammit! PS2 games! Had too many come in and I've been uh... playing them too much to review ^_^; State of Emergency, Jak & Daxter and Maximo will be up for review next to blockbusters GTA3, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy X. Uh, more as stuff develo ps ^_^
I've got more grandiose plans for the Jar As Far as games go ^_^ With reviews (coming any day now!) For a number of Ps One and PS2 games. Kicking things off with Metal Gear SOlid 2, Final Fantasy X and Grand Theft Auto III. Also, Have some things which are going to be either removed, or meshed together in an effort to conserve space and make things less confusing >_<
And a big YO-YO-YO wassuuuP!?! To Aine ^_^ Your special card is coming, I'm sorry it's taken so long. Carjacking distracts me like few things can. :P And to all my friends, Happy frickin' new year and may you not be smothered in poo flung by monkeys ^_^
Sorry 'bout the slow email responses and even slower constuction >_< but I've been SICK like a dog! Not anthrax :P But it was indeed some nasty virus that lasted for at least 3-4 weeks on and off. Missed a lot of school ^_^' Tekyu's in troooooble! Anyway! A happy happy halloween and SAFE to you all! See everyone at the TOOL concert! :D
September 15, 2001
So I thought I'd give my two-cents: I posted some TF news groups and I seem to be incapable of posting without starting a flame war >_< I'm just a freak that way I suppose. I put up a post I made awhile back at about 5:30am, if you'd read it you could tell because by the way I'm typing it sounds like I'm drunk or something >_< I've decided to remove it in order to not look at stupid as I really am and in turn fool you all. MWA HA HA HA... ha.
And now, the news. Though I cannot keep myself from watching the news, praying to see more people make it out of the WTC wreckage alive... I will continue my updating as I can. I am also going to put up the yardsale for donations, all purchases made from the Jar will go towards the relief funds for the many families and those working to restore that area as well via Red Cross. And please PLEASE donate blood! I'm dying to donate, but I have a couple more weeks until I can so donations are the best I can do since there's no more space for volunteers at Ground Zero.

January 20, 2003 - A Flying Croissant?
Holy berjezus! o_O It's been far too long. I've been posting a lot in the PSM Magazine Forum where I've been passionately venting my cynicism and sarcasm on unsuspecting nOObs. And strangely enough I've become what I hate o_O I actually use the word "nOOb", normally their newb-status notwithstanding as I attack them for just about any reason except that, but I find it kind of weird myself. ANYWAY! I've got some people out there who've been patiently expecting packages and to make up for the delay I am adding some extras and sending them out tommorow (I meant to send them out today but... I forgot today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, oops. No mail! >_<). Work has seriously piled up and I've been otherwise REAL busy. School has reared its ugly head and mocks me as tomorrow the Spring semester begins. Funny how they call it the Spring Semester when it begins in winter and ends in the summer. Weird.
I'll be reviewing DOA Beach Volleyball (once I can take my eyes off of it of course. Man I'm sad >_< Anyway, I'll be putting up the reviews submitted by my guys once I have more time and access to my computer as well as finishing up some of my own that have been in limbo for frickin' ever. As have a number of new links like
Plenty of rants lined up, I just want to make the m a little more coherent before I have them put up. For things like Online gaming, Transformers: Armada, Final Fantasy and the usual fanboy babble (but at least I try to be funny).
I'd like to give a shout out to Aine ^_^ Email me back dang it! Until next post... This is Tekyu signing off.
December 30, 2002
Okay! Well, I've gotten My reviews for the most part tak en care of, I still have about 3 mo re from my other reviewers to get tacked up. I've been posessed to punch out a review on MK Deadly Alliance as well as finishing up some reviews I've left in mothballs ever since. If any of you have been checking out the reviews, you may have noticed some bizarre oddities popping up. o_O For some strange reason Angelfire has been screwing up stuff like apostrophes and other type of punctuation and replacing them with some truly strange things. I noticed this awhile back with some of my Bubblegum Crisis reviews o_O Yet another of the uncomfortable glitches they've shown to shake my faith in them. Anyway, if you'll kindly suffer then for the time being I'll try and figure a way around them. >_< Other than that there's not a lot to report besides the fact that I can beat pretty much anyone at Robotech Battlecry :D WOOOOO OOO!!!!!!!
December 28, 2002
Well folks, time for a clean slate of news. Tonight I'll try and get SOME of the reviews finally up. Pictured above, you'll see the newest addition to my Macross collection. The highly sought after Yamato Macross VF-1S Strike Valkyrie (big guy, in the back... large double barreled cannon looming over his shoulder? Yeah, him). T'was a very transformers related Christmas as much of my closest friends an d family found all sorts of cool TF swag like a decepticon baseball cap, the Armada #3 cover club shirt, tons of comics, some figures and some posters. It's all good :D The biggest shocker was the VF-1S Strike Valkyrie! WOW!!! I'll try and punch out a review for him tonight. ^_^ THANKS MOM!!!! Sorry you're still buying me toys (albeit very expensive toys) well into my 22nd year of life!
Ahem. Anyway, I'll be handling a few more auctions in the near future, selling off the bulk of the stuff I was unable to since I couldn't get in past the frenzy that was the post office. Such as it still is an d will probably be for the next couple of days o_O Among these auctions with be complete sets of the Dreamwave G1 Rebirth series (some will include one of the rare lithographs and posters), some various mint on card figures, perhaps some Japanese exclusives and maybe even some loose figures in a lot.
December 23, 2002
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! She's okay!!!!!! ^_^ My lil' Pooka pulled through. On much more serious thought, poison by Scorpion or other cuddly creature roaming the homestead might have stung her. But no matter as she is now %100 :D HOOWAY!!!!
What's sad is the dog feels substantially better right now than I do o_O I got this box of Espresso beans covered in chocolate and I ate me a healthy (or unhealthy in this case) amount of the frickin' things >_< And now I pay the sinister price of agony of the tummy. But I digress...
I've got a rant coming for the anime Dragon-Half, easily the funniest thing I've seen since Excel Saga (even though it's much older than Excel Saga...). Speaking of Excel Saga I've got reviews EVENTUALLY coming for volumes 2 & 3 of it. Through amusing circumstances, I also picked up Jay & SIlent Bob strike back, The CLERKS cartoon series and Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for the PS2. In short, I gots me some busy times ahead of me o_O But looooooooong before that I'm going to try and get my reviewers stuff taken care of finally! >_< Expect reviews on RE: Zero, Kingdom Hearts, Tony Hawk 4 and more this week!
December 22, 2002
Hey folks. I'd hoped to get a lot more done, but It's about 3am on Sunday morning and I can't sleep. I want to try and get something more productive done, but I'm sick with worry. Sick twists of fate robbed my of my last two dogs and now I sit here faced with the possibility of losing my darling fox terrier, Pooka. After she broke her jaw when she was still a puppy and my family went on vacation, I was stuck at home alone with her and after nearly going into irreversible cabin fever last February, I've been bonded to this dog ever since. I'm honestly at a loss right now as I sit here watching her droop sickly as she appears to be fighting sleep. I'm praying she got ahold of a melatonin and it's simply have a much stronger effect on her due to the difference in dose and scale for an adult human. Basically, I can't function... god, I can't even drink I'm so scared... This dog is so precious to me I can't stand not knowing if she's okay. The pet hospital is currently not an option since they say that ALL they would be able to do is keep her in for observation and there's not much else unless her condition changes. I'm not in any mood or frame of mind to do much right now... Despite my growing correspondence piling up and people asking me to chat... I cannot. I worry about this dog on a constant basis, but this is slightly more extreme considering the circumstances surrounding one of my last dog's deaths. My hands are shaking as I type and I'm a hair's breadth from bursting into tears because what scares me the most is that I don't know, I JUST DON'T FUCKING KNOW!!!! AND IT'S KILLING ME!!! I've talked to everyone I could on the topic and the concensus is that she appears to be sleepy and gives off signs of knocking back a time release melatonin pill meant for a grown adult. The other is that she's already beyond help and is a matter of times before she dies. While I'm trying to keep a positive face on this, I'm still having nightmares about my last dog banshee and my finding her dead stiff body laying in the yard one morning, she'd appeared to have been poisoned by something when she'd gotten out the night before. Not too far off, her littermate Cully began suffering from his leg and joint problems he'd had all his life and we put him down when it became unbearable for him. It was soon after Banshee passed that we'd gotten Pooka, soon after that we lost Cully. So now it's just Pook and our cat, Elvira.
I don't mean to drag on like this, but I'm so depressed right now I can't think of much else to do... I'm scared. I'm worried. Worst of all, I'm powerless to do anything. She could be fine, but she sure as hell doesn't look it. Rather than being my normally optimistic self I've taken to panic and confusion... To ask if I were going to do much today would be a stupid question so don't bother looking around for updates, nor should you expect a call/email/post from me anytime today... If I'm feeling up to it, I'll try and post an update at to the current condition of my dog.
As 3:25am she's sleeping soundly... which is a mixed sign. According to the Doc's we won't have any concrete evidence until around 5:30am - 6:00am today.
As a lil note, that's a pic of her a little over a year ago, she's much bigger now and I just can't seem to find a more recent pic off my digital camera!
December 18, 2002
Goodness! Christmas is almost upon us! o_O Luckily I'm not caught unaware this year :D SPEAKING of christmas! You KNOW you could use some quality imposter fragrances for Tekyu ina Jar ^_~ Click the pic above and take a gander at my wares!
Anyway, finals aren't as great as I hoped (Good finals... HA! Man, I'm funny!), but they're ALMOST over! ALLLLLLMOST!
Tons of Transformer swag just dripping out of the marketplace now; Playing cards, stickers, books, comics, bobbleheads, apparel and of course... toys. I am SO giddy about the state of affairs with TFs these days they're almost all I can think about ^_^ Almost. The ladies always have my full attention ;) ROWR!!!!!
I've got a lot of reviews coming over this weekend *hopes and prays* as well as some new stuff I'd been holding onto. I'm also pushing some as of yet unnamed staff members to write some articles on various things. Like horror games, perfect game, etc., etc. and these should be rearing their heads sometime in January. I'll even finish/start some Toy reviews like the DB Series one Bulma, VF-1S Strike Valkyrie, my late LATE Transformers Armada rant and one on the New He-man series/toys. I've got a lot to do and I'll hopefully have the time to do it o_O STILL looking for potential reviewers with a decent grasp in the written English language, don't be afraid to drop me a line. Otherwise on the site I've got a MESS of new links I've been procrastinating on putting up, but I'll hopefully get them up by this weekend o_O
I want to take this opportunity to give a lil' shout out to my buddies on the PSM Board (PSM Online). Particularly Meth, Craig, Yuna, Lector, Feather and well... Damn near everyone! :D Save for the annoying new people (You know who you are because I tend to harass your kind), may you accidentally ingest several gallons of broken glass shards and wash them down with bleach. Hooray. Until next update, this is Tekyu wishing even those I despise, but particularly those I love the merriest of Christmas' and the safest of holidays. And on a side note, it appears the Crume'-ster has shown in the valley again! YAYYYY!!! WELCOME BACK David!
December 9, 2002
Uh... heh heh... ^_^;;; Yah peoples. There's nothing new here, and it's not like I've nothing to report. I've gotten my very own copy of Tekken Tag (yay for self!), Excel Saga DVD 3, and I fell into a crapload of the Heroes of Cybertron figures! YAY!!!!!!!!! Besides that there's some new links I need to put up, but overall I've got a LOT of stuff to do. Unfortunately I've got like 2 weeks before I can put any serious time into the site o_O So it'll be a LOT of rare update posts for awhile. Now I've got like 4 reviews that need the editor's touch as well as to simply be posted :O Gasp! Forunately all this spare time will hopefully make a fine grace period so I'm hoping you guys will email me and keep me busy with more reviews for when I finally have the time. I've spent what little spare time I've had playing Suikoden 3, and wow, what a relief! Having something fresh to play was SUCH a relief!!! Woo! I was so close to slitting my wrists if I had to stick with Wild Arms 3.
Anyway, If you readers out there want to keep me busy, email me about doing reviews! I'd like to remind everyone that I publish practically anybody who can write semi-intelligible paragraphs as long as they express to some extent their professional opinion of a video game (any system) or any anime! So please! Anyone even slightly interested drop me a line at tekyuinajar@yahoo.com
So then, until my next feeble post, have yourselves a merry little... week... or something :)
December 4, 2002
Sorry I got cut off by a storm ^_^;;; Well, to sum things up right now I'm busy as #@%*!!! and I'm unable to take care of the already pending reviews!!! >_< Mamo, Kevin sorry about the delay. Work is hell, Semester is almost over and I'm not on the comp as often as I'd prefer. >_<
Not a whole lot else to note save for the awesome images that Meth has done for me :) Cheers Meth!
So until the middle of December, don't expect me to be jumping out of my seat with reviews and updates >_< SOrry guys, I'll get to work on those fairly tardy reviews and such ASAP. Until then, enjoy your holidays and don't die in the Holiday rush ^_^
December 1, 2002
Wasssuuuuup?!? Well, I've been busier than I'd like to since I like to be at work in a the hurry for the holidays so I've been pulling overtime in order to make up for my friend Nancy being out. Thus I couldn't get a lot done, no reviews, no reading reviews (sorry Kevin >_<) and I've been playing Suikoden 3 a lot in the rare time that I haven't been sleeping. Just wanted to make a note the

Morning folks! Well, despite my hellish pains, my stomach feels much better. Though I should really consider a more nutritious breakfast than a bag of sun chips and like 6 cups of coffee. ^_^;;; Well I got my TF stuff yesterday and I couldn't bring myself to take either Road Rage or Cross Cut out of their boxes. I did, however, eagerly remove Victory Leo and tore him apart so I could merge him with Star Saber ^_^ The combined Victory Saber figure is like an inch and a half taller than normal SFC figures and while his bulky feet hold together quite well, his wings don't hold worth crap >_< I'm tempted to use hot glue to keep his floppy wings on, but the problem is that I'm worried about messing up the paint >_< In any case he's really cool and I'll have a review covering everything except Hot Rod and Rodimus ASAP. I notice that Cross Cut is actually different than Skids because not simply different colors, he's also got a different head that only popped up in the diaclone series. Road Rage is simply the highly sought after Diaclone red Tracks, however now SHE has been welcomed into the Autobot ranks and given an actual G1 identity. Since I'm babbling about new G1 Transformers characters, I learned last night that Takara's doing yet another New Year's set! It's a police set of Red Alert and Sideswipe recolors named Deep Cover (Dark blue Sideswipe) and Clamp Down (black and white Red Alert). It's a little weird considering that Takara's on the verge of releasing the Book style re-issue of Sideswipe, but definately a welcome addition.
Sorry to rattle on about Transformers ^_^;;; They've become my current obsession since Dreamwave started with their comic. Anyway, I tried working on the Jar last night, but I was so tired I could barely think, let alone type properly. Considering what an awkward week this is I may not be able to do as much as I'd previously planned, by Friday I should get up the bulk of my reviews and such as scheduled. I'm going to try and skitter into Best Buy in the next week or so, try and grab a game to tide me over throughout the holiday shopping hell. Thinking of getting something like Mortal Kombat, Suikoden 3, Contra or... well, I dunno. Something! NEED NEW GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >_< ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Also, I just found out that Square and Enix merged?!?!? WTF?????? I'm not sure how to react to this... It's really cool and yet... utterly shocking at the same time! Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy in the SAME HOUSE??? This will either turn out to be VERY interesting and possibly quite beneficial or one of the biggest mistakes in history ^_^;;; I'll ramble on about it when I know more.

Despite my cheery face, today is awfully morose and... weird. >_< I was having tons of stomach cramps over the weekend so I didn't get even half of the things I'd planned to done. I've got a couple reviews in that I'll be posting ASAP. I did have a brief few minutes to look over and update some of the Bubblegum Universe, mostly adding/tweaking links, fixing images, thinking of some colorful weasel commentary, etc. I've been in too much pain on and off to really think of constructive criticism for any of my import figures or games, so no reviews from Tekyu >_< I'm not quite sure just WHAT the hell this that's been ailing me, but after I got over the stomach flu (or did I? Dun dun dunnn!!!) I tried sleeping and ended up staying up for the entire night curled into a little ball of agony >_< Besides all the fun I dreamt of having this weekend, there's nothing new to report about me personally except that I and my entire staff & co-workers extend our deepest condolences to my friend Nancy whose father passed away yesterday.
If I get myself arsed enough I'm going to go out and pick up a copy of the Complete Bubblegum Crash Collection, despite my lampooning it constantly and otherwise mocking it unmerciful... I can't help but feel at least a LITTLE attached to it. And be assured that I'll come at ya'll with a review on it in probably the same week (seeing as it's only 3 eps long and I've already watched the last 2 eps like 20 times). In other things to look forward to, I'm getting Victory Leo and Anime Optimus Prime today along with my obscenely expensive Cross-cut & Road Rage figures (diaclone colored G1 skids and tracks). If I feel crazy enough, I may actually take them out and take some photos... And even review them ^_^ We shall seem... unfortunately my stomach is back to the usual pain thing as I type so... I'll update more... later.
November 24, 2002
Well guys it's that time again! I've got a LOT of toys to catch up on and some sloppy HTML errors to correct as well. REALLY makes me wish I could find that damnable digital camera 'cuz I've got a lot to take pics of right now. Some old school TFs, reissues, Armada, RID, etc. Some He-man, Robotech, GI Joe, Spawn, etc., etc.
Besides that there's the massive number of imports taking up residence in my room at present that I haven't even mentioned yet! Figures like Monev the Gale and Wolfwood from Trigun, The Rei & Asuka figures from Evangelion, my final fantasy figures, etc. Basically I've got a lot of catch up to do. And to top that off I've got some images that need repair like my Cammy & Rockman X figures. Besides that I'm jumping around with my reviews and I've got a Wild Arms 3 review in the oven now along with the Parasite Eve 2 and Robotech reviews. I'm feeling better, occasionally getting serious stomach pains, but otherwise the Stomach Flu seems to be letting up. You might have noticed some of the new pics on the main page? That would be Meth's work ^_^ Pretty sweet if I say so myself (an I DO!). A big BIG word of thanks goes to to Meth today ^_^ These pics help a LOT!
November 22, 2002
All creations mocks me this week, as the lovely Shampoo illustrates above. Must be a theme or something.
Ugh... This week just gets better and better. Starting with problems at work and stomach flu (my own insides have betrayed me!) & just unending depression (possibly the weather), then my little sister disappeared out of her own incompetence after seeing the TOOL concert, thought she'd frickin' died! Turns out she only left out of absent minded stupidity in a taxi and cruely left our family thinking she'd been abducted by the cheerful residents of Downtown at night. So it turns out she'd left to go party and didn't bother turning on her phone or dropping us a line until tommorow afternoon. Besides that I missed work, my digital camera has wandered off again and I'm simply aching to play Metroid Prime (but I'm too scare to out into retail marketplaces with the holiday rush impending ^_^;;). I haven't gotten any of that stuff I mentioned up for sale yet because I've been sick and lazy, ditto for updates on the jar. When I wasn't lying around doing to nothing of any benefit to any conceivable thing I can think of, I was running like mad to the bathroom. GOtta love that stomach flu. Anyway, sorry about the tardiness concerned with well... everything. >_<
In other more stupid news, apparently something has gone wrong with the PSM board's chat *sob* Something about Delphi, the company hosting them, reseting their servers and putting everything to hell. Ugh. Fortunately I got AIM working on my home comp again so lookout for Tekyu. I've been playing Gut's Rage on the Dreamcast and Parasite Eve 2 on the PSX a lot lately, as to why I can only suppose it's because I've been too lazy to play anything I haven't already beaten >_< Weird. If I can hopefully convince my buddy Meth to cook up some backgrounds/images for the Jar, I might end up with a much cooler looking page ^_^ Haven't talked to David in awhile, apparently he went off to South Africa! WTF?!?! He's a pain in the butt to get in touch with since he's always moving around so much these days and likes to disappear a lot. >_< Anyway, David if you happen to read this PLEASE drop me a line.
While I'm at it, I'd like to give a big wassssuuuuup out mah' homeboy Xavie! When I got AIM working, I got in touch with him after some time ^_^ School's being just a stupidly huge amount of fun for him and he's killing himself over his passion, Theatre work. Be careful and try not to overdo it buddy, I'd like to see you over Winter break! ^_^
Nothing else springs to mind save for the fact that I'm rewriting the MGS2 rant as well as a few others since I've had an associate go over some at random and I didn't realize how many I wrote when my blood sugar was low!!! Some of them just have me raving and babbling! ^_^;;;; Man that's embaressing!!!! So I'll be starting with Metal Gear Solid 2 and I'll try and touch up on my Final Fantasy X review. I'll also try and pump out a few new ones as well so keep yout eyes peeled folks!
November 18, 2002
Yo yo!!! :D Well over the weekend I spent most of my time tallying things for sale. Got some comics, Some rare X-men movie figures, Some Final Fantasy 12" figures, Some Matrix Agent smith figures and possibly a Toyfare exclusive or two!
I broke my record for regular updating because I... well, I was pretty drunk ^_^ I saw the semi-good ending of Silent Hill and have been otherwise abusing my ability to shark some old PS One games I already beat. Parasite Eve 2 is a lot more fun when you don't play fair. :P It looks like I'll be bringing on another reviewer very soon! A good buddy of mine, haven't arranged what to refer to him as (even though he's been mentioned here like twice already... >_<) but you'll probably be seeing a review of his on RE Zero in the next week or so. In other updates, I picked up Episode 2: Attack of the Clones at TRU for $10 on DVD. A pretty sweet deal since I never really thought about picking it up anyway, some old friends who used to work there kept pressuring me to buy it and naturally given my lack of impulse control I caved into their demands. So I'm watching the special features right, and I see Jango Fett dancing in the rain and George Lucas play-beating some poor guy who obviously made the WRONG comment about the R-4 Unit in Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter. Probably the weirdest thing about the DVD. Besides the annoying lil' Boba, I absolutely hated the romantic leads. Natalie Portman's cute, but she's one of the WORST actresses I've ever had the displeasure of watching. Hayden Christiansen (SP?) on the other hand was I think directed to be all awkward which makes sense given his character, if he were stacked next to a decent actresses it would have shone out more. Unfortunately the two romantic leads couldn't have worse chemistry if they were in different movies! They're terrible together! I've been considering reviewing this, but I don't think I can come up with enough pros to satisfy my Star Wars friends and I don't want them smothering me in my sleep.
If you haven't already noticed, I've posted Kevin's Time Splitters 2 review and I apologize for all the spelling errors, I meant to get those but there were so many that I felt a little overwhelmed. I also posted my RE Retro rant so be sure to look around the review area and check out some of the new images I've tacked up about the Jar, particularly the new one I've put up on the main page which was givent to me by my buddy Meth from the PSM Forums :) Thanks Meth!!! :D
November 13, 2002
Wow, I'm getting awfully regular about noting updates! Scarrrrrry. At the moment I'm so freaking tired... Yet I'm unable to simply go lie down, I feel stupidly restless. So I'll make some notes.
Right now my current review staff is up to about 5 minus Tetujin and Myself. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on reviews... ^_^;;;; Good thing I don't pay these guys :P
In lieu of waiting on reviews I have come out of nowhere with a review of the Revolutionary Girl UTENA movie. And I've also finished the Resident Evil rant!!!! Unfortunately the last half of it was saved on another computer... I have any diskettes or online access at the time because of server issues so it's curently saved on a computer I can't even access until friday! Gah! D'oh!!! I'm feeling much better now, I never thought that HALLS and Beer mixed! Wow! In any case, I'm still at work revamping the Jar and trying to remove excess baggage. I've come across a lot of images that I've never used since I've been at angelfire! Ack!!!! In any case, look out for new images and new reviews in the coming days. I'll try and get more done, but that's assuming I'll have time to do so.
November 12, 2002
Remember what I said about not updating today? Well... I lied :) I haven't done a whole lot, just some sprucing up with some new images as well as some minor lil' revisions on some of my pages. I've finally got up the courage to sell some of my stuff and free my closet from at least SOME of its unhealthy burden. I've got some star wars toys I'll be listing as well as a few anime & movie DVDs and maybe a game or two. I took off some of the stuff that already sold and I'm making a list tonight, I've got some writing and studying to do so I'll try to squeeze in a lil more work on the page if I'm at all concious in the twilight hours.
November 11, 2002
Well folks, Tekyu is STILL sick. Alive, but sick. I've got a couple reviews in the oven from my newest reviewer, Kevin (Limbs). Right now I'm working out some fine details and adding HTML tags to the review. Unfortunately it takes time, especially when Angelfire is acting funny... In any case I'd like to welcome him and Larry to my staff. I look forward to seeing what these guys can do and see great things coming their way. My personal reviews are still being tuned, I've been in such a rut, that I didn't notice my own spelling and punctuation errors, not to mention this thing I do where I'll type so fast I forget to type a word sometimes. The Resident Evil Retro rant is nearing completion, as is the Escaflowne rant.I've got some more reviewers coming, so keep an eye out. :)
A big WASSUUUUP goin' out to mah' home boy Xavie! Finally given his just props, I wouldn't have started reviewing without you and your ideas! Not to mention the reviews you put into the jar! Thanks for everything!!!
You may or may NOT have noticed a few new images on the Jar, I'll be adding some new images and replacing older ones as the weeks pass by. A lot more will have the Jar stamped on 'em. Anyway, look forward to some pretty good things including some toy reviews as soon as I get some spare time, probably after this semester. I'll be otherwise occupied tommorow so don't get your hopes up as for any changes tommorow.
November 8, 2002
I feel so... vulnerable. Exposed. Perhaps even... Naked?
So as I sit here waiting for death's sweet embrace, my mind is riddled with questions as to just where the hell I got this cold. A girl in my class did mention that she literally just got over a cold... but last night, moments after my head hit the pillow I all of a sudden realized I couldn't breathe through my nose and that my head was a few pounds thicker with phlegm. I know, a tasty bit of info. But to those eager reviewers of mine who are anxious to see their stuff posted, please give me some time. Since I'm just now getting around to being able to sit up, it may be awhile until I get the time (or health) necessary for the coding.
I've had a taste of the sumptuous feast that is GTA: Vice City, If you've played GTA3 you should have no problem getting a handle on VC. But the missions in this have some absolutely wacky twists to them, heck some of the Motorcycle related missions are insane! But if you didn't like GTA3 (You poor soul...) or the original 2 games, then I guarantee that you will despise this. I've got this serious craving for Resident Evil lately since I finished the first novel in the RE series. I never went through much of the first game so I missed out on a lot of things in terms of RE's story (Like "Who's Wesker again?!?"), I'm not saying this is bard worthy but the book is actually pretty decent and gives perspectives from Rebecca, Jill, Barry, Chris and even Wesker! If you're an RE fan it offers a great amount of character depth to the already familiar RE Characters and the dialogue isn't cheesy and well... lame as it is in the games. Even the typewriter gets mentioned! ^_^ Anyway, I came to this stunning realization earlier this week: I suck at Code Veronica! I *hate* using the knife. I REALLY hate using the knife!!! I'm not one of the maniacs who can go around knifing zombies with ease, beating the game in under an hour and using nothing to heal myself. Oh and not saving. I save like crazy, it like an instinct, because I don't like having to repeat boss battles, puzzles, etc. It's this nostalgic time in this Franchise's life that has made me decide to do a retro review on RE in all it's splendor. I'll be noting every tie-in I can think of as well. But with RE Zero coming out this Month and the RE2 Gamecube remake impending in the coming months (plus RE4 whenever that's being released), It's probably a good time to get this out there.
Lately I've been in kind of a rut, possibly it's the weather. But I've just been out of it lately. So all like... 3 of you... who are at least kind enough to look at my page, much less email me, please cut me some slack until I get back on track.
October 30, 2002
I checked my email today and the thing that caught my eye was the message titled "secret sex awaits!". My god, how do these people keep finding me?!? This is the reason I limit my use of hotmail so much >_< Nothing but emails about enlarging my breasts and Naturally mind you, sales on "male enhancement", banking scams from africa and indonesia, people looking to sell me their "get rich quick" ideas and just tons and tons of other crap. Even if I were the sucker they wanted, you'd think they'd try to sell me something that I would even CONSIDER buying into?!?! The same could be said for the pop-up ads showing up on my site, good lordy Lycos! Even when the ads DO appeal to my age range (late teens to mid twenties) they don't appeal to my particular audience in the slightest!!! ARGH!!!! There hasn't been even ONE pop up banner that's reared its ugly head on my site that I would dirty my mouse clicking on. I *know* there's sponsors out there looking to put their ad banners on sites for my audience (anime, videogames, toys, comic books, science fiction, etc.) but it never shows here. Well, except for the SPiderman DVD.
Moving onto a topic that give me far less emotional charge, I picked up Wild Arms 3 just because I couldn't find the MGS2 document disc at Best Buy and I was damned if I was leaving without something to feed the PS2!!!!!!! Probably a stupid attitude to take, but it was down to replacing my copy of Chrono Cross, Buying a copy of Tekken Tag or venturing into the world of the unknown with WA3. I own the first two and I like them just fine, I've only gotten through like half of both games before I decided to move onto something either more fast paced OR something I knew I could trust. Unfortunately, Unlike Robotech: Battlecry, WA3 is THE SAME GAME AS THE LAST ONE!!! It shares the same flaws WA2 did (mostly the town/dungeon finder process), has no real innovation, and has little or no redeeming value besides its visual appeal, which I must say is quite good. Stacked next to ANY FF game though it still can't match up. Heck the old Lufia games would eat this alive! But I'll keep playing it because I not only hate myself, but have nothing better to do since I beat Robotech. *sigh* God I'm one sad little monkey.
I was skimming over the Escaflowne booklet (The cover says "Memorial Book", but it's a floppy 19 page booklet cuz I said so. Dammit.) this morning and according to this thing Escaflowne is a TOTAL Bandai production (IE: No orignal manga involved! *gasp*) and originally it was gonna be like Medieval Macross! ^_^ Just thought I'd mentioned that. Apparently when I'm less drunk and have more interest I'll get started on the review of the Movie and all the spoils that come along with the "Ultimate Edition". After which I'll probably put it on sale, I haven't been arsed enough to watch the entire movie yet since I get bored with it in the middle and all of a sudden snap to when Escaflowne descends for the gruesome Finale.
After a MAAAAAAJOR screw up on my part, I neglected to put up my finished review for the BGC Boxed set I'd promised so long ago. It's up in the rants & reviews area now and I'll be putting up links in BG Universe as soon as I have more time. I had this saved on word and it appears there's something odd whenever apostrophes are used in the rant, so I'll look into that, for now though please enjoy it.
October 28, 2002
Well this was an incredible weekend for stuff! I finally got my copies of Transformers Issue #6 and since I've got tons of overstock, I'll be selling a lot on eBay and selling some sets off the Jar. Speaking of transformers, I picked up a couple of the Armada Happy meal toys and while I can actually start to like Optimus... Hot shot totally sucks ^_^;;; I mean it's embarassingly ugly in 'bot mode. Still, he's great for younger kids and I'll think of what to do with him after I make the Autobots do their gymnastics thing. :-= I also ordered me some Storm Jets off of Kaybee.com so I am one very happy Tekyu with regards to TFs this week. :) Now I just need to find me a Smokescreen and Sideways...
I know I should have had the self control, but I stopped by Best Buy and splurged. I bought Robotech Battlecry for my PS2 (even though I've been pining for the Collector's set *sigh*) and I LOVE this game!!! I've got a review almost ready and I may even have it up before this day is over.
When I picked up Robotech, I naturally wandered into the anime section next and after getting lost since they moved everything, I found the Blue Seed Boxed set I'd lusted after... I saw the Escaflowne Ultimate Edition movie boxed set.... ^_^;;;; And while I knew I should have done my homework on what it came with... I couldn't resist the large, imposing, blue box... I kind of wish I had. Honestly, I didn't see Escaflowne anywhere else cheaper... but the extras are really only meant for seriously hardcore fans of the manga or anime series. Assuming they'd even like the "Aternate Escaflowne". I watched like the first 4 eps fansubbed years ago and I liked it well enough. I hated, HATED Hitomi and wanted to chop off her goofy pointy nose and that of everyone else in the series! I liked pretty much everything else in the series, I especially liked the Music and Mecha. The fantastical "steam age" armor was a nice touch and was my biggest draw to the series, and while I hated the main character there were all sorts of cool plot twists and even some wacky gender bending twists! Love, Hate, Betrayal and big honkin' Knight and monster styled Mecha. Booyah. And the ever charming Dilandau made an appearance, but lacked... uh... boobs. Anyway, getting back on track here... It's amusing to note that this is a Scott McNeil and Richard Newman affair seeing as every other person seems to be played by one of the two ^_^ They've done so much stuff it hurts to think about it, Beast Wars, Reboot, the Escaflowne TV series and just a stupidly huge amount of other things. The "Ultimate Edition" comes with the Basic movie, An extras disc and the Soundtrack. All 3 with their own DVD cases are set inside the book like blue box along with a little booklet that sort of introduces you to the movie and the set you just blew way too much money on. I'll definately have a review on this thing, but I'll point out now that unless you're a hardcore Escaflowne fan it's not really worth the waste of $50+ I feel somewhat cheated and my hatred for Bandai again flares. I hadn't really given myself a lot of hope of getting this set and now that I have it I kind of wish I hadn't bought it. Even hardcore escaflowne fans might want to steer clear of this thing, besides being almost totally detached and boring, the movie is an alternate story with many of the same concepts and characters (with their distinct personalities intact... well, except for Folken ^_^;). It's weird, it's different and that doesn't always appeal to everyone. I think it was a stupid idea in the first place, but then it's not like they put me in charge of anime and hey, they even let Tenchi Muyo have not just one, but 2 alternate series and even after the crap-fest that Tenchi in TOkyo was they're going for it again!!!! >_< God just let it die!!! Ugh. I've got some other stuff, I'm going to try and get around to reviewing as well such as Generator Gawl, now that I have the perfect collection and Akira. I need to pick up the Ranma "Anything Goes Martial Arts" series though.
October 25, 2002
As you can see I never finished the update, oops. ^_^; I unfortunately forgot what I had meant to put anyway... But I think it had something to do with Kingdom Hearts. This week I beat both Devil May Cry and KH, DMC was my choice of "buffer" game to keep me from burning myself out on KH and it did it's job magnificently and then some! With DMC giving me a break from KH, I had the patience to go through the Hades Cup, Seal every keyhole, find every dalmatian and at least FIGHT all 4 of the hidden bosses (Ice Titan, Kurt Zisa, Sephiroth and The Phantom) and finally beat the game. Since I did everything mentioned above, I got to see the Kingdom Hearts 2 Teaser. I saw some still from it and already came to a conclusion as to who the characters in the preview were. The guy with sporting 2 LARGE keyblades is possibly Zidane from FF9, if not Zidane then it may even be Tidus, or some totally new character. The guy on the roof? Something tells me its Kuja. Totally effeminate, long white haired dude... yeah, probably Kuja. I feel it's Zidane & Kuja because there's tons of FF characters on tap and when the first game was made the only thing even technically from 9 was Vivi (who made an appearance at the end of Donald's staff). Then there's the black haired woman at the end. God, she complicates things even further >_< She could be Tifa (please god let it be her!), Rinoa or even an older version of Kairi with long and darker hair.
DMC was pretty sweet, the ending was painful to watch though. Fortunately I'd already seen the ending (just missed the final fights *sob*) so I knew to just my eyes, plug my ears and prepare the barf bowl. *gag* I'll have a review for that ASAP and I eagerly look forward to DMC2 when it finally shows. Oh and about slowing down my personal reviews? I lied ^_^ I'm not getting new reviews fast enough (actually, no one's submitted any in awhile...) so I churned out reviews for Okage, Kingdom Hearts and I've got one for Parasite Eve 2 on the burner at the moment. Still working on the cons. ^_^; I've been meaning to do that review on Bulma much sooner, but I'll see if I can take care of it this weeked (assuming I'm not too drunk to type of course). Then there's the Armada thing... I dunno... Mostly it would be just another mad fan rant, complaining about a line based solely on gimmicks and unrealistic vehicle modes, etc. etc., etc. And I've actually gotten kind of bored of reading how bad the cartoon is myself, because no matter how you slice it the cartoon just plain sucks because it's aimed at a younger crowd that's hot to cash in on the "catch 'em all" fad. That and I (we all were actually) was spoiled by good writing, and cool toys when Beast Wars came out, Beast machines stumbled in two directions with "tron-esque" Maximals and varying levels of good/bad Vehicons and a pathetic Megs dragon. Beast Machines was such a stinker, that it was no small wonder Hasbro brought over Car RObots/RID which was a nostalgia explosion with awesome toys, but an import of a fairly crappy Japanese kid's show with cheesy direction and lame story (Sky-byte was the only thing keeping me from setting fire to my TV). Now we've got reissues and Armada... Armada should be better since it's a joint Hasbro/Takara production and besides why is it made with a Japanese audience in mind when it's airing in the USA first? Whoops... See, I popped my cork. Sorry guys, it justs gets under my skin since I've been so hyped about all the comics and stuff... I've just been a little over-excited about Armada and I got seriously disappointed.
Bah, enough babble. I'll be working on my Parasite Eve 2 review. :)
October 17, 2002
Well I'm just getting the hang of Kingdom Hearts (that deep jungle level made me want to burn it though), I've half worked out a review so I'll have that up ASAP. When browsing my Bubblegum Crash area out of freakish nostalgia, I noticed a total screw up on my part! >_< The Review for Meltdown that my buddy, X, wrote wasn't there!!! It's fixed so go there in droves ^_^ I also realized that it's awfully short ^_^;;; But then again, I can't blame him considering the lack of love put into the episode. >_< Ack.
Speaking of reviews, I just... Update to be finished at a later time. Stupid Storm >_<
October 13, 2002
Well... I cracked open the PS2 last weekend... It WORKED for like... 3-4 hours, then I went to sleep. I wake up the next day and lo and behold... "Disc Read Error". After basically exploding, I got some help from a friend and now own a brand new PS2. Finally, I've been able to play Maximo, Gran Turismo 3, Virtua FIghter 4, Okage and Kingdom hearts!!! I also got a little present over the weekend! Generator Gawl: perfect collection! WOO!!!! Unfortunately, bills abound have been nailing Tekyu and with a test and 2 quizzes EVERY week in school now, I haven't done much besides work and well... try to sleep >_< I've been posting a lot on the PSM forum and its pretty cool! Unfortunately there's something weird about the chat coding so I don't go there much. I've been mostly putting up polls, but lately some of the stuff I've posted doesn't even show...? Things have gotten weird since the PSM staff started stopping by and deleting things, I want to say it's a good thing that we'll be able to talk to Bill DOnahue and Stephen Frost, but Frost came on saying something akin to "We're here to clean up dodge!". And Clean they did. They still have TONS of threads which are totally off topic just sitting around and tons of people still coming to make trouble and posting horrible things! *sigh* We'll see if they can really fix this thing for the better.
Been too busy to write my Armada and other toy reviews and my reviewers haven't gotten their stuff to me yet. Anyway, I'll be off fighting Cloud now, Later! ^_^
October 3, 2002
After spending some time at the PSM forum I've changed my mind, I really like it! I've reached my limit of exaustion with all these reviews on my own and sent a plea to the readers of PSM's forum. So you'll be seeing more Review popping up not by me and some other reviews of games I've already reviewed along with mine so you can get a another person's perspective! I'm currently in negotiations with potential reviewers so once I'm done with Correspondence, it'll be time to post some reviews! For the most part, I'm looking to get some games reviewed while with the Anime reviews will be on a brief hiatus.
In the meantime, I hope to get a couple of Toy Reviews taken care of! I just picked up a set of the Robotech I-Men and Dragonball's Bulma boxed set. I may pick up some of the New movie maniacs, but I still feel so burned out when it comes to McFarlane toys that I don't know if I can push myself to do so. I've got some stuff I'd like to say about the new Transfomers Armada line now since I've got everything up to Optimus Prime and 2nd wave of minocons now, I'll also do a retro review on the RID run as well as BW and BM.
I've been procrastinating on cleaning up the jar and I've got a lot of things that need some serious tweaks, I'll take care of them as soon as possible >_< Anyway, until next update... This is Tekyu, signing off while eager to get down to reading reviews.

Tonight I see a sneak preview of Miyazaki's Spirited Away, for those of you who don't know this is the same fella (and studio Ghibli, same studio I think) who made the awe inspiring Princess Mononoke which was imported a few years back and ALSO did the gut-wrenching Grave of the Fireflies in which a young boy and his baby sister stuggle simply to stay alive in WW2 Japan following the death of their mother. I hope to have a review up for it in the next couple of days.
Anyone ever heard of PSM? It's a magazine devoted to Playstation consoles 1 & 2 and touts itself to be "Unofficial, Unbiased, Unrivaled". I frickin' LOVE this magazine, I've been a subscriber myself for some time and even though the website kinda sucks, though I can appreciate that though, I don't want to think what it would be like to meet article deadlines AND keep the webpage filled with cool stuff, constantly fresh info and a library of fun stuff. Ack. But they added something new, a forum! Run through Delphi forums (a cost cutting idea no doubt), the whole thing is fairly well designed and sports various arenas of dialogue like "Console Wars" or "PSM Staff", etc. But the fun part is... it's not moderated. At all. There's subject lines and comments that can't appear in a rated R movie! Now don't stupidly mistake yourself and assume that I'm new to swearing (talking like a sailor has been something of a pastime for me since I was little ^_^;), but I'd say that at least %80 of the people who go there are trolls and morons. The spelling errors actually hurt to see, they can't even write a sentence without swearing at least once (assuming they can even spell bad words right. Example: "fukkers"). And it seems the freakin' Console wars arguement is much hotter than it has been in years, there are even idiots who seem to brag about how Microsoft OWNS them. ^_^; Other than a decent excuse to terminate both newsgroups and our specices, there's little in the forum that's productive. It's nothing new of course, if you've ever gone on a Newsgroup this kind of crap happens A LOT. Trolls show up with great frequency simply to irritate and inflame large numbers of people which starts a Flame war wasting space and time for everyone else. I guess I just stupidly had the hope that I could go to a forum where people would comment, theorize, speculate and intelligently (IE: without calling anyone a fag to prove your point) debate, or chat about games! GAMES! Instead there's so much console war garbage that it clogs what little worth this forum can have. >_< Not the first forum I've seen go to ruin and probably not the last.
On a much happier note, I've got a Kingdom Hearts review coming and I'm in the process of tweaking the PS2. I'm working on the KH review since I went over to my friend's house and played it for some time, enough to gleen what I needed anyway. I'll probably add more to the review after I buy it, but for the moment you get the quickie version. The PS2 is lots of fun so far, First I didn't have rubbing alchohal then I didn't realize I needed to actually hook it up while active to test the laser voltage >_< Bare with me, this is new ground for Tekyu. I don't often crack open my system to fix it (fortunately, I'm not doing the cracking! I have someone who actually knows what they're doing).
I picked up Armada Prime and the wave 2 minicons. Prime is not as bad as I hear, but Armada episode 5: Soldier WAS as bad as I expected... Once it changes times I don't think I'm going to even bother watching anymore because this has just become that bad of a show, it's like the guys making it didn't even care that they were basically churning up feces. At least the comic book is decent. >_<

CONKER!!! NNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a surprising move by MS considering the only thing selling the X-box seems to be Halo (to this day it stands strong in the top 30 and is probably the best reason to own an X-box by itself and to have friends) and since they STILL have yet to include the Japanese controller with X-boxes being cranked out now I only see pain in MS' future if they didn't do something like... you know... crank out quality games perhaps? A smart idea to at least make some money (as opposed to simply buy out competition) would be to make the thing DVD ready with a Japanese controller, a demo disc and one game (Munch's oddysee or something with an "E" rating that is marginally popular). And if they were to throw in one memory card with all the other stuff, they could almost justify bringing it back up to $300, Then the thing would probably sell itself, but with all the attachments and crap sold as they are now it's all overpriced crap. It really shouldn't be THAT MUCH to ask for a DVD ready system that can resort to use of the controller and a decent controller to accompany the console. Dammit.
If that wasn't weird enough, chew on this... NINTENDO didn't even put in a bid for Rare!!! To think that Nintendo would ignore not only that one of its best developers had gone on sale, but that they would be oblivious to the thought that a console rival whose notoriety stems from stealing ideas and using capital to buy out competition would not overlook the opportunity to nab one of the hottest teams in the business and put them to more work than Nintendo has. I mean, come on how many RARE games are on the GC? At last count there were only 2 Conker games (Gameboy & 64), you'd think a game with poop jokes and platformer play than most games on the 64 would get a game before Mario Sunshine? *sigh* Oh well.
In terms of JAR NEWS there's not a whole lot to report, did some cleaning on the front page and I've got some some half finished rants which may or may not go up tonight.
September 23, 2002
Armada Ep.4 aired over the weekend and well... Stank. Between Rad's whining and the bad writing, it's painfully obvious the people behind this don't understand why Transformers were cool in the first place. The fairly simple concept of a vehicle that changes into a large robot and back again, more importantly each robot belongs to a faction dedicated to conquering everything or one dedicated to protecting the peace. And even adding the minicons to the mix should only add to the fun, but the "catch 'em all" theme associated with Poke'mon and a number of other series is present and is about the only thing driving what excuse there is for a story. Speaking of the STORY, I could have sworn that this cartoon was about transforming robots! Why then is the show more or less dedicated to the obnoxious kids, mainly Rad and how he and his friends REALLY think they can help fight decepticons... And eagerly pressure the Autobots to let them fight. Saying it's their fight since they opened the pandora's box that was the minicons (basically since you triggered the war, you really need to be involved further. Thanks, but no thanks kids!), That they are "not afraid to get their hands dirty" so sayeth Alexis (So... what you're happy to murder each and every nice old lady who gets in the way?), and lets not forget how Carlos compares Autobots to decepticons... The Autobots are way cooler because the bulk of them transform into semi-helpless vehicles while the enemy roster is dripping with artillery. Right. Oh and apparently someone's not doing their job on the whole script writing thing, Alexis slipped and called Hot Shot, HOT ROD more than once if I recall and Optimus totally screwed up and called his partner Sparkplug, Leader-1 which is the name of Megatron's partner. D'oh!
In more stupid news: Shinji Mikami, the man behind Capcom’s Resident Evil/Biohazard series openly accused Sony of making the PS2 faulty so it would break down constantly forcing gamers to buy several replacement and backup units, He also was reported to have dissed Square/Disney's joint project, Kingdom Hearts, which has sold over 780,000 in Japan by saying "it did not deserve the large sales it racked up in Japan and they people only bought it because their friend's were buying it".
Ummm... Okay. First off, I'm not sure of the circumstances for Mikami's shot at the PS2, but even though mine is currently broken, I blame that on the rush behind its october release the thousands of hours I put the thing through. I've already killed two PSone with my mad gameplay, I'm not entirely shocked about the PS2. Although I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the voltage on the laser and the lens probably needs cleaning. ^_^; But back to the matter at hand, I can only assume this is Mikami's attempt at justifying the Nintendo/Capcom Resident Evil exclusive deal. The Kingdom Hearts slam is another matter entirely... I have no clue who the hell this guy thinks he is when he thinks a game "deserves" the sales it gets. As I recall, Sega's mind blowing Masterpiece, Shenmue and another Capcom cookie-cutter sequel called "RE:Code Veronia" were released about the same time in Japan. Sega spent several times the chump change Capcom pumped into Code Veronica and Shenmue is a groundbreaking original piece of work... While Code Veronica is an RE side story which differs very little from the other games. >_< Code Veronica sold like frickin' hotcakes, Shenmue didn't do too badly itself, but Shenmue is a game that DESERVED better sales than Code Veronica. Why did Code Veronica sell better? Simply because of Resident Evil. Street Fighter had the same effect back in its heyday. Brand names, Sequels tend to stick in a person's mind, the same is true for Square's Final Fantasy, but you don't see Hironobu Sakaguchi dissing Resident Evil for "innovating" with less save points and harder enemies, do you? While Disney hasn't been on my list of favorites lately, I can't say I hate their evil empire as much as say, Microsoft. The concept behind Kingdom Hearts is something magical to say the least, I can't remember being this excited about an RE game. Not that I have anything against RE, but something as just mind blowing as seeing Final Fantasy favorites interacting and fighting alongside classic Disney characters is the kind of thing dreams are made of. Despite bad camera angle issues, KH delivered on its promise. RE hasn't changed since day 1, the visuals get better, the zombies get meaner... and that about covers it. Other than puzzles there's really not a whole lot of difference in the RE series. If any of you remember the Street fighter "innovations" (Count with me! II, Championship Edition, Turbo, Super, Super Turbo... Need I continue?), you'll understand just how ironic it is that ANYONE at Capcom accuses a game of not deserving its success.
Also in the news is Blizzard's Starcraft: GHOST which I hear is a console game (PS2?). To be honest, I played a little Warcraft kinda drifted from there. It's just that I'm not all that crazed for PC titles until something like Alice or Half-life comes along. But anyway, I hear there's all sorts of bitching going on from PC gamers whining about it going to a console and it's shocking how numb these people are to good games ^_^; While there's a lot a PC can offer I'm sure, I've been playing things they can only dream of on my consoles. Penny Arcade Has been commenting a LOT on this issue. All in all, it's quickly becoming a stupid month in games. I've learned that far from everyone with a computer is as bright as one may think, and I never thought anyone could WHINE so damn much off a computer >_< Kee-rist!!! They bitch like you can only get it on the moon or something (yeah... I borrowed that from Penny arcade ^_^).
As far as the site goes, I've got a couple reviews comin' since I beat Shenmue and have this urge to start Vagrant Story again. And I've got a couple coming for Megaman X5, FF9 and more PSone games. I'll get back to the PS2 thing when I crack mine open and mess with the laser. Until then it'll be when I've either fixed the damnable thing or buy another one. I've still got plenty of Transformers 4, 5 and 6!!! As well as the 1 & 2 reprints! Get 'em in the TF area or click on one of the cool Transformer's gifs I've got around the page.
September 18, 2002
As I'm getting the impression new blood is showing I get more eager to work on the site. Speaking of which, Anyone notice the current count on the jar?!? Over 5000!!! If I could doodle to save my life, I'd draw something just to celebrate ^_^ Thanks to everyone checking out my site and even more to those who helped to make this possible. I mean... it is kind of sad ya know, the Jar is my second oldest site and its traffic has been totally whomped on by Bubblegum Universe my third and possibly most cherished site. Weird. Occasionally my priorities completely shift from Anything else on the Jar to an obsession to complete a project on Bubblegum Universe. But I am proud to finally see this thing getting more attention. :)
Meh, now to the nitty gritty. Thanks to MJ I got ahold of Shenmue and man does it rock >_< I spent the entire weekend "Avenging" so I've made it to the second disc and I've got a review in the oven. Heh. Turns out on Sept. 11, I completely forgot to upload my PHantasy Star Online rant and I ended up putting the Silent Hill 2 rant up instead. D'oh! But in any case, it's up in the RANTS area. I had this big rant I was going to do about Online gaming, but then I was reminded how little online games I've played ^_^; I'll still do it, but it will be from a more console related perspective.
The Online yardsale is getting more stuff like used Anime DVDs, some video games and some more McFarlane and Transformer related stuff. Speaking of Transformers, I just got Issue #5 in stock. I also STILL have plentiful amounts of Issue #1, #2 and #4 in stock! Come get it while its hot guys! Once #6 is out it all starts going on eBay!
September 11, 2002
Honestly, as much as I want to "REMEMBER" Sept. 11, 2001, I can't ever forget it. Besides the actual event itself, its been the biggest media blitz since the godforsaken "AOL Ver.7.0" >_< Now don't get me wrong, I've been proud to be an American ever since I was a child. The media's unrelenting assault of the twin towers falling down is something I can't tear from my mind. It's been shown to the point that I'm getting sick of it! SO in that case, unlike many sites out there who are not updating which in some strange way "honors" Sept. 11, 2001 , I've made some updates so at least there's still something to look for on the web!
I'll be putting the finishing touches on my Phantasy Star Online review tonight and I'll try and do some cleanup on some areas that REALLY need it. I'll also do some brief commentary on the Upcoming FF Online (AKA FF 11) as well as what the future looks like for Online gaming.
I don't mean any ill wishes to those whose lives were touched by 9-11 (which is to say, our entire great nation), It's just that our media could not let this story go and has clung to it since that horrifying day. In fact they've shown footage on it SO MUCH that I'm no longer shocked by seeing it!!! It sickens me that I can look upon this and not feel sick, scared and as intensely vengeful as I once did. That's all. And I fail to see how shutting things down can honor any of the brave men and women who risked their lives going into those buildings, the victims who died in those buildings and those who died in the plane crashes. To be honest, shutting down is exactly the kind of thing I imagine they wanted and would makes those evil monsters responsible swell with pride that we would deter from our normal lives. It's a difficult and scary subject to talk about, but those are simply my two-cents.
September 9, 2002
Well there were all sorts of Good/bads to this weekend. The good being that I saw some imported anime that was fan-subbed, picked up a beautiful Outlanders lithograph, had some great various flavors of Pocky (the Japanese biscut dipped treat) and got some awesome pins!
Unfortunately, I also got in a car accident on Saturday. Those darling few of you who just gasped needn't worry, I and those in the vehicle with me escaped harm as did the part who plowed into the side of the van I was in. >_< Thanks to what I can only describe as a heroic feat on Marisa's part (the driver), she not only stopped the van from spinning out of control, she got it out of traffic before the accident got any worse. After an hours long wait, the police showed, the opposing party accused Marisa for running a red light, but I saw no red and the other driver had to have been blind not to see us in the intersection because I sure as hell saw her coming. Anyway, since there are no witnesses to back up the opposing party's accusations the topic is null and void. Booyah!
On a much more positive note, the little convention we were sideswiped on our way to went faily well considering. THis Friday I plan to pick up Armada Optimus Prime, Possibly the re-issue Optimus Prime, Generator Gawl Perfect collection and the first DVD of FLCL (called Fooly cooly) or Armitage III: Dual Matrix. Another title to look out for is "READ OR DIE" which is something like a mix of Metal Gear Solid, The Hakkenden and X-men all in one 3 part series. Just Awesome. Saw some really crappy stuff all at the same time, but it didn't ruin my fun. What almost ruined my fun was people who obviously need some proper lessons in Hygine and Silence. Ugh.
Keep an eye out for the rants on the various stuff I saw like Gatekeepers, Read or Die, Flame of Recca, etc. I missed out on Final Fantasy Unlimited though. :(
August 29, 2002
Armada #2 is out in stores! Woo! Now I just... Need to stop by and pick up a couple of copies! >_< Optimus Prime is popping up and the reissue has finally made it to Phoenix! Now I just have get my frickin' hands on one!!!!! >_< Speaking of reissues, I understand there are already plans for several more and there's even going to be a Japanese New Year's Megatron!!
I'm kicking around the idea of reviewing the new He-Man figures. I'm actually going to try and collect these things, but I don't know if I can keep up or if anyone would care if I did. >_< BUT if you feel I should do updates, etc. on the new MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE series drop me a line (tekyu@hotmail.com). In the meantime check out the biggest frickin' He-Man database around: He-Man.org.
The X-box rant is up, and while I'll admit I hate MS with a passion I still have am X-box in my home because I thought it deserved a chance. I also threw in my 2 cents about a handful of games that came to mind for it. While there are a couple of recent exclusives and releases, they still don't change my opinion of the Box.
I'll have the review of the first Excel Saga DVD up tonight, check that out too! Second DVD is out now and I'll try and get one up for that as well. OH! And holy poop on a stick! I just noticed how freaking hard it was to see links and such against the background!! THings look good to me now, but if anyone else sees problems lemme know!
August 28, 2002
Well guys, I finally finished my X-box rant! Took long enough. >_< The He-man and Armada movies came at last and good lord did He-man rule and Armada totally suck. I'll be making copies for those who missed out on both and for anyone interested I would happily do it for trade.
Issue #5 of Transformers got pushed back to September and I'm finally in School again >_< Dammit. Ummm... Not a whole lot else to report 'cept that Comic-con stuff will take a little longer to review. Oh, and I'll be adding some new links to Penny Arcade and some other Transformer related sites. Howdy to Aine out there ^_^
August 14, 2002
Well folks, I’m finally back from California. Comic-con 2002 was incredible! I met the Dreamwave Fellas, Devil’s Due, Lloyd Kaufman of Troma fame, Sgt. Kabukiman of the NYPD, and many, many fans. There were people dressed up all over the place in costumes ranging from the Final Fantasy characters, Anime characters, and tons of Comic characters. Oh, and I’ve never seen that many people dressed as Jango Fett in my life! There’s so much I missed out on, but it was easily ones of the coolest things I’ve ever done! Came back with tons of stuff and got many of my favorite comics signed. Basically, it was incredible! Can’t decide whether to go to Botcon or Comic-con next year though... >_<
While I’ll have some various reports on what I saw and did there, I’ll move on to some more recent events. Got a couple more Video Game reviews comin’ (BTW Thousand Arms is finally up, so check it out!), Got some some commentary on Kung Pow, Excel Saga, Miyuki Chan in Wonderland, and a couple more Anime titles in the works. Be on the lookout for these in the coming days.
On a more Arizona related note, I am working to have a Transfan gathering. Thanks to meetup.com, people with similar interests can sign up and get acquainted with one another in a safe and well managed fashion. If there’s any Phoenix Transfans who haven’t signed up, please give it a shot so I don’t end up being the only one in attendance. >_<
July 14, 2002
Well folks, this isn't the best of times to reach Tekyu :( My dog I've had since I was about 9 passed away yesterday, suffering in horrible pain we put poor cully to sleep. :( Basically he's been having trouble all week which is why I've only gotten some of my orders out. I'll try and get everything out next week. Finally got the #1 & 2 reprints and soundwave posters, I'll be getting those sent out asap. Thanks for all your patience.
July 4, 2002
Not a whole lot to report, finished the Iczer-One review which is up in the RANTS area. Still finishing up a few. The Soundwave posters will be getting here sometime next week and will be shipped out ASAP, Also I finally got Transformers Issue #3 so those will be going out soon as well. Looking forward to when this Comics thing will be over >_< It was fun, but a huge burden financially and of my time. In retrospect however, it's been great being invloved with this project. Big thanks to Transfandom.net and Tony Bacala, and most of all to Dreamwave Productions and Hasbro. ^_^ Armada is hitting stores finally, and I'm ecstatic! New Transformers are always a good thing. My buddy, big Xavie is working at Seaworld of all places(?!?), say "Howdy" to Shamu for me ^_^
Other than that there's nothing new to report, I'm off to cause wanton destruction! Happy 4th peoples! :D
July 1, 2002
Wow ^_^ Besides various Issues with distribution on the TF Comics, things ain't so bad. Can't go to botcon... Still, things AIN'T that bad! Why?
Much like the image above, you'll probably see a few more of these decorating the Jar. From They Might Be Giant Robots a site whose Transformer comics were featured on the notoriously funny Super Deformers website. I got permission from Drake, the man behind the site, art and hilarious TF humour to use these images and if you like what you see, check out the site!
I've got some retro reviews comin'! Look forward to reviews of Iczer-One, Mobile Suit Gundam and The Guyver: Bio Booster Armor! And Slayers: BOOK OF SPELLS review is almost ready!
Transformers Armada's hit stores, reissues are comin', and Transformers are a mind blowing sucess these days! RID totally re-vitalized the franchise and things just keep getting better!!! With the comics, cartoon series and possible spin-off lines things just keep lookin up!
Videogames are fairly tense right now, the attention of yours truly is focused not on the upcoming 11th FF installment Online, but on MGS: Substance. I'm dying to learn more and more importantly, to get my hands on a copy!!! :D I'll also be giving some old reviews for Dead or Alive 3 and Halo as soon as I can.
One important little note, images and links have been breaking as some strange phenomenon has caused my HTML to do random spacing in the middle of words, images and links. Makes not sense and I'm trying to fix them as they come along, but I have to look for them to find them! So keep your eyes peeled and PLEASE let Tekyu know if something is messed up. :)
June 12, 2002
Wow! I'm 22 ^_^ Woohoo! SEND ME PRESENTS!!!!! >:P Besides that, I've just put up a review for Star Ocean 2 and some buddies and I put together an auction for this HUGE amount of Transformers Stuff HERE And because eBay didn't accept the pics of the items, you can check them out HERE!!!
I'm making a score card to add to my reviews to justify them ('Cuz I'm a jerk who likes being right... dammit! :P) and the first which will receive the treatment will be BGC Tokyo 2040. Other than that, there's not a whole lot new website wise, there's plenty of half finished reviews, but I want to complete a couple of the series/games before I have them posted.
Transformer Comics News is that Issue 4 order are due later this week, Issue #3 is hitting stores, and Dreamwave recalled a substantial portion of the Predaking Lithographs. I'll be putting up pre orders of #6 soon and then it's time to close up shop. After that it's back to simply trying to live through Armada >_< And re-issues on top of that! Whew!
May 1, 2002
Well people it's grind time! Actually it's BEEN grind time for awhile ^_^; But Finals are back with a vengence. So communication will be spotty and updates will be few and far between for the next couple of weeks. I'm accepting all orders on Transformers Issue #4 (including large orders provided you get payment to me within 5 days!). More pictures will be disappearing unfortunately, but I've got some more rants on games and anime! Click on the MGS Ninja on the main page to see me pop my cork about games with a little bit of useful info here and there and and otherwise lovely rant. Yay. :)
April 10, 2002
Wel the good news is that my Sis is doing MUCH better! The bad news is that Angelfire has either lost a ton of its sponsors or they've just gotten greedy. >_< I had the 50MB they offered some time ago and then all of a sudden they withdrew the 50MB to new members and recently they said I had to trim down to 20MB or start paying (or they'd come in and start randomly deleting!). Basically, saying I was miffed would be a drastic understatement. I've trimmed everything down and I've started checking my options before I move the Jar. I've always liked most of the tools and such that Angelfire has offered, but ever since they became "Angelfire.Lycos.com" they've become really irritating. Until then (I see this being a couple of months in the future), I'll keep doing reviews, rants and sales but some of the galleries will have to go and if you haven't noticed a ton of missing images yet, you soon will. In order to meet their ridiculous request I desperately went through and deleted a ton of my pages and images. I've kept most of my reviews, but the TF reviews are done for.
April 4, 2002
Well Jar readers, my support goes out to my baby sister C-ko today as she's been really REALLY sick this past week. Vomiting blood is NOT good for one's health. :( It's been a drain on her and she's been very Fatal Frame Deprived. Let's hope she gets fixed up soon, eh folks? Until she gets better I won't be doing updates on the page. I'll be taking care of Issue #1 orders once it arrives and I'll have everything sent out ASAP. I'll also be taking care of emails as best I can manage. Apparently bandwidth is getting short here, if there's anyone trying to LINK images from my page to theirs... STOP. If you're going to take the image, TAKE it. That's what I've said from day 1 that if you want to use an image for yourself feel free! I'd just appreciate a nod towards the Jar! It's been a long bizarre day, I'm callin' it a night. So then, this is tekyu signing off from the Jar for this week. Until next week, Smell you jerks later ^_^
April 2, 2002
Hey folks! It's a matter of days until TF #1 gets here and Tekyu is just giddy! Spruced up the Jar a bit and I'm working to finish up my Ranma gallery. Found the cable to my camera... now I have to go buy batteries >_< ARRRGH!!!! Will add a couple of New images from Crum'e (www.crumeinc.com) to numerous pages (I gotta get one of those programs >_< ). Check out the RANTS area for reviews of Both Shadow Hearts and Super Smash Bros. Melee!
March 25, 2002
Wow ^_^ Finally sold out of my Transformers #1 :D All of you lucky buyers sho uld be gleeful as you'll be getting them sometime early next month :) My room looks so much better, now that I've made some decisions on what needs to go. I'll be listing a couple of things to sell on the site after all ^_^ Unfortunately, I've got some th ings which will be asailing my collection soon >_< Quite soon unfortunately so I may have a LOT more on here than I'm currently expecting. Darn TF re-issues :P Making me want to buy them and stuff.
Big News!~ The Online Yardsale is alive and kicking once again! The highlights for the mo ment are the Fragrances area where I'm peddling over 1,070 bottles of imposter fragrances at sup er cheap prices and let's not forget the Transformers Sales area where I'll be clearing out much of my collection!
March 13, 2002
Hey peoples! Tekyu's kinda down, as I've got to clear out a huge por tion of my collection. >_< Tons o' Spawn, transformers and such. I don't think I'm even going to bother doing all this online either as I've had it with eBay, and other sales sites so I'm going to trade it all for store credit with Pop Culture Classics ^_ ^ Great place out in Glendale, AZ with an awesome owner. :) Anyway, I'll try and crank out some more reviews which I've already gotten halfway done before I get rid of the bulk of the stuff, I've already updated the rants page with the defensive review of Final Fantasy VIII and my in depth revie w of FInal Fantasy X. Well, as deep as I can dive without blurting out spoilers everywhere. >_< Again, I must plug that TF fans check out the comics area and support the online TF commun ity :) If you don't buy from me, PLEASE buy from someone online!!! I still have plenty to sell of the first issue, both covers and I taking pre-orders o n issue #2, Predaking's rampage lithograph and the Starscream/Megatron poster!!! What've ya got to lose? No limit on how much you preorder and shipping is by your choice anywhere in the world.
Also check the rant on Metal gear Solid 2 along with F F VIII & X. Got plenty more comin'!
March 5, 2002
Well now! Plenty of people I've been slow to contact. My Grandma passed away Friday before last and I've had things like busine ss and school keeping me occupied. Besides I'm notoriously bad with keeping contact with people :) I can keep a steady bit of communication for awhile and then something shiny comes along and... I'm lost :P One particular person contacted me with some rat her extreme concerns, but rest assured that's not the case. So, gleefully using the resource I call a website and abusing being its webmaster (why not?!?), I (Tekyu ^_^) would like to give a big kawaii HEY out to my darling Bannana-chan!!!! :) Seanma hasn't forgotten you (Seanma jus' needs to buy a better attention span ^_^'), I've got a lot of people to mention and thank for their contributions to the jar and to myself personally ^_^ I've gotten a few up, I'm still trying to write others without getting sobbingly mushy and sum up my feelings without taking up too much space. Check the MEET TEKYU section to see. :)
January 31, 2002
Well, Tekyu's precious puppy had to visit the pet hospital some time ago. Her unbelievably ferocious and stupidly stubbon nature resulted in her fracturing her own jaw and lacerating her neck in a couple of plac es. Thankfully though she's now doing better, she's wearing a halo (lampshade thingy) and is all bandaged u p. Scary thing is she's almost completely back to normal... 'cept she can't open her mouth and she keeps bumping into stuff with the halo. ^_^ So if you've been curious as to why I've not responded to emails in the past couple of days, that's why. >_< Now, ON WITH SOME NEWS! I've been messing with the TF pages extensively as well as putting up some new images and fixing up the image galleries. I've also done some other reviews and such so poke around ^_^
January 22, 2002
Wow >_< I'm bored to death, but whilst typing up some homework, I thought I might inform y'all 'bout some stuff I've been doing as phantom updates! ^_^ Well, first off there's the ever lovin' image sorting. Got plenty of new ones posted and a couple new ones listed in the image galleries. I'm going to rework my entire Transformers area, moving all t he links to one place and keeping my entire Beast Wars Collection on one page (which as it happens needs some updating). I'll finally get some anime & game review work done (here's hopin') and I'll try and update my dusty ol' toy reviews!!! Mostly I've had too much fun PLAYING with 'em to review! >_< The transformers have been a real pain in the ass in that regard! Got God Ginrai recently, and the Car robots are impossible to put away!!! I can't leave them alone!!!!! I'm gonna buy spares because I know I'm gonna wear these guys out I play with 'em so much! Moving on, I'm also thinking of buying some busts (not boobs! Though If they sold those... uh, nevermind.) such as transformers, DC & Marvel, Final Fantasy and maybe some of the upcoming GI Joe and Star Wars series. SO I'll put some more into that later. I've cleared out a HUGE amount of junk so after a couple more waves (I may have a clean room for once! *GASP!*) I should be ready to do some more wheelin' an' dealin'! I also need to devise some form of display/storage space, My toys are competing with my books and DVDs for shelf space and that ain't right! The toys have already overtaken damn ne ar the entire room! >_< I've really updated the tekyu area (be ready to lower the volume ^_^) with a lil bit more personal info on me and then some background on my webpage ^_^

Hiya Everybody! Again a new year rears it's scary head and the blurriness has faded from my eyes as has the slurr from my speech. A new year came and Tekyu was off giggling and guffahing with a noisemaker. Booze is indeed an interesting pastime. But enough farking about! Final Fantasy X has been in my posession since December 26th, followed by Grand Theft Auto 3. Thus, to friends and family wondering where I've been and why I haven't contacted them or sent them their macaroni cards... THAT is why. >_< It's shameful, but these games are so well... I believe "Soul Sucking" is the term. I sleep, eat and constantly think of these games!!! FFX will no doubt reduce me to tears since in case you either didn't know or care, Tekyu is a emotional basketcase when it comes ot drama and FF7 and FF8 reduced me to tears after beating them both. FFX has come VERY close at least 4 or 5 times now. Anyway, I'd write more, but for NOW Tekyu has carjacking to do! (Not REALLY, I'm gonna go play GTA3... really :D)
December 20, 2001
Well Christmas is near and Tekyu the college student did his shopping from the comp so it's excuses and cards with macaroni and glue for eveyone! Aside from that, I'm overjoyed with Transformer frothing madness! Takara's re-releases of G1 transformers have me giddy and the Robots in Disguise series with the mysterious "Armada" line coming close behind has me in a stupor of joy! ^_^ No snow for Phoenix, as per usual Christmas. So only the 53 degree weather and pathetic excuses for rainstorms remind us of that whole Christmas and Santa thing ^_^ More images, haven been able to sort (or respond to emails) due to painful complications with the removal of Wisdom teeth. Ugh. And to add to the eighties revivial of the greatest toys lines comes the Macross figures (AKA RObotech) in all their forms, the return of HE-MAN who absolutely RULES and the return of GI Joe: A Real American Hero. I so happy ^_^ Plenty of updating to do, but I need a computer! >_< Until it's back from the shop, expect updates (if any) to be slow and few in number. The yardsale's going to be re-evaluated and then re-listed. Other than that HAVE A MERRY FREAKIN' CHRISTMAS!!!!
November 12, 2001
Tommorow is the day! Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty!!!! I already have the entire line of action figures by McFarlane toys which are being reviewed and have pictures already saved! Once I have the game though I may be updating less ^_^ I've been losing sleep waiting for this game and I doubt I'll ever sleep again once I have it! ^_^ MWA HA HA HAAAA!!!! Anyway, go to the Spawn in a Jar portion to see reviews & pictures of the new figures; Solid Snake, Olga, Revolover Ocelot, Fortune, Raiden & Solidus Snake.
October 29, 2001
Well, my associates seem to be having trouble meeting their goals for the $5000 goal. As am I so I dropped the prices on damn near everything and added a clearance area where most of the new items are set out. I also have some imposter fragrances I've put up which I need to get rid of in order to free up some space along with some cleaning products and light bulbs >_< I'll be selling things even cheaper by the case. As far as Jar work goes:
I've got some catching up to do with Robots in Diguise
I recently aqquired some of the recent re-issue G1 transformers (Starscream & Megatron)
I've picked up some of the McFarlane offerings most notably some club exclusives, 18" Ash, Anime 3D series 2 and a host of various other figures
I'll be doing a review for Nintendo's Gamecube as I got to check out a little preview type event where I played most if not all of the release games.
I'll be doing brief rants on Devil May Cry, Silent Hill 2 and other various PS2 games recently released. Plus a Review/Rant of the Final Fantasy series in retrospect, plus of course one for the movie now on DVD.
Plenty more to show on the Jar sale, just have to sort it out and make to the comp more often >_<
October 17, 2001
Howdy! ^_^ Mucho good luck to Xavie in his upcoming play and bad ass radio show! I've got the yardsale up an' runnin'. And for those of you who missed the large sexy, blushing, swimsuit-clad Ayeka picture, that is the link to the yardsale. CLICK ON HER! Crume's site is now up again and better than ever :) And he calls me a... stalker? What... the... hell? >_< You're weird david :P Just because I tap your calls, dig through your trash and place cameras aimed everywhere you go doesn't mean I... stalk you :-=
Er... moving on! I've got more to add to the yardsale, right now I'm still pricing things and trying to find a place to keep everything for sale! PLEASE check back soon! This is a charity sale I plan to put ALL the money in a jar, take pictures as it grows and once the goal is reached slap a pic of me with a money order made out to the red cross on the front page. Please help me out here people!
September 26, 2001
First off, I'd like to say "Hiya" to my Toys R Us homies! Benny, MJ and Travis :) And any other pesky ex-fellow employee buds 'o mine who be readin' this. I picked up the Twisted Toyfare Theatre book and I gotta tell ya... nothing inspires me to do bad things with my toys like this ^_^ Once I've mastered the art of setting up the backdrops and scenery, my horrifying imagination will finally be free to run rampant! >:) Well, I'll have all my toys doing bad thing anyway... :P Image cleaning will be taken care of ASAP! Some were deleted because I'd felt they'd done their time. And as always, I'D LIKE SOME FEEDBACK PEOPLE! >_< I'M LISTENING, BUT PEOPLE BE SAYIN' NOTHING!!! PLEASE tell me what you like to read, what you want reviews on, what kind of thing you'd like changed, etc.
Speaking of change, I'll be adding something new to the TF portion of the jar with an entire kitbash shrine of my all time FAVORITE transformer character: OPTIMUS PRIME! :D I'll be taking Non-tf related transforming robots and making them... in a word, "PRIME" :-= Finally, the yardale's about finished. I'm parting with more stuff than I thought I could, but it's for a good cause. Please check it out once up. ^_^
As debates stir the world with non-stop commentary and coversation between everyone concerning the massacre that occured on the 11th of September in the year 2001. I cam across a post in a transformer newsgroup of all places where someone had mentioned that respect had somehow been a factor in the attack, that if the USA had as a whole given more respect to the Middle East, that the attack would never have happened. Riiiiiight. Crack is a BAD thing people.
Major image sorting has been started, so expect to maybe see a few image errors on the page for the next week or so. Almost done with school for the moment so I'll tend to it as best I can. Tekyu got a Dreamcast ^_^ Phantasy Star Online rocks Tekyu's socks! Look for Tekyu every now and then as a dark HUcast. Until my next update, please forgive the icky image errors and check back as the week progresses for NEW and better organized images.
After much annoyance with those who simply dogged Final Fantasy 8 because it was hard, I decided to make a review of the game pointing out why they might think that. But then I also went through the trouble of pointing out all the good stuff. Please give it a read,HERE. If you disagree go ahead and email me, but serious (civil comments) will be the only ones getting responses while the flames will be returned without even an amusing insult thrown in. More image logging and updates to do, reviews and rants galore on hand. The ME section is down for repairs and a more interestingly written bio along with the others mentioned on the jar and involved with the Jar project.
Well in the past month there were dot.com layoff reports abound and all whom depend on free internet services slept poorly. Tekyu included, Tekyu still needs to back up the jar >_< Hrrmmmm.... would figure since I bleepin' just finished piecing together the geocities Jupiter site. Well, so far lycos seems to be doing well so on the Angelfire.com front all seems spiffy, and with all the trouble Yahoo went through I kinda doubt they would one day push a shiny button killing off one of the most prominent free page sites on the internet without considering the bitter consequences they'd get in return from the huge amount of Geo-users. Moving on, I'm scattering to get up some more reviews and it's killing me that my disk drive is dead which cripples the files I've saved to disk. Photoshoots abound in the Eva project, linking sorting and labeling.
Hey folks! Well, the jar finally seems to be getting some more attention! Thanks for all the lovely email I've been getting! ^_^ Just a lil note on email though, I don't respond fast because I have a lot on my plate at the moment (studies, work, writing, toy posing, an' whatnot), so don't freak if you don't get a response that day (or until later that week) because I don't get to check my mail as often anymore. But don't worry I read everything sent to me and respond.... Except to flames. :)
Moving on, The sailor Jupiter shrine is gone... YES GONE!!! No, I'm lying :P But it's being moved to Geocities with the New Jupiter images!! :D Plus, the Anime Babe Gallery may be moved there as well, expect more tifa images with links and a Kei Akino image listing, Evas galore are forming at Daniel's site where Dan, Daniel and Myself have been working on poses, listing misc info, ranting and otherwise raving about Kaiyodo and their Evas. Check it now and again to see more at it comes. Anime Obsession is being kicked in the groin and put in its' merry cage as I simply give up, I'll make the intro to anime a book instead :P Basically it'll list all things anime concerned with this site AND it will list animes shops tekyu trusts and give really cool links. As *IF* anyone cared, but since it's *MY* BLOODY page I'll do as I *BLOODY* well please; you will in that case be seeing a revamped Tekyu info page with updated pictures, far more interesting info and such to better give an understanding of the inner workings of the Jar and the freak at the helm *deep breath* PLUS Transfans, don't think I forgot about you! I've got plenty more coming as far as some pictures, updated links and a far more interesting directory of links to the beast Wars (transformers) Image Gallery as well as a penny for Tekyu's thought about each figure and a link to offer you confused, torn TF buyers an alternate opinion or two.
Finally!!!! Photos!!! As you may or may not have noticed, the "different" thing is a pic of my lookin' goofy with a nice shot of my room in the background. But this was just the begining, I have gotten shots of Eva unit 01 and the other Evas with MUCH more to come, Metal Gear Solid reviews have been updated and also come with Photos, as well as the destruction of Land of the Non-spawn (it was a stupid name anyway). All figures reviews will be integrated together to form a far less confusing Database. Gundams, Rockman, Cammy and more are up in the Anime figure area with much more on the way. With all the necessary catching up I'm needing more and more playtime combined w/ computer time which difficult to get my hands on. Plus my sick, feverish Evangelion obsession has caused me to hunt maniaclly for a way for me to get a decent copy of the Death & Rebirth movie concluding the series and revealing the answers to all the questions I have been busting my head over for months!!!! I'm crossing my fingers that once ADV films finishes the Eva series on DVD that they will leap on the movie, dub it and release in the usual fashion. Anyway, be on the lookout for Car robots this summer under the title "TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE"!!! As well as most likely the BEST figures to come out of Beast Machines in the next few waves. Got plenty of Gundam stuff in the works and pics & reviews on the way including Gundam X's X & Virsago kits and well as the Gundam V action figure. Metal Gear reviews will be finished before the week is over hopefully, I keep seeing more I want to add. Still tallying stuff for sale on the Yardsale, my apologies on this. Check back in the next few days for more stuff!
Howdy! Well I've got a lot of things in the works and there's a good chance that I'll be churning out all the reviews I've been behind on within the next few months! I've got some new toys I've aqquired from ebay (Evas, TFs, Mcfarlane, etc...) as well as a toy show :O Also Those anime reviews are more than due. I've gotten ahold of plenty of new images, a few of which have been uploaded. Oh, and with all this new stuff... I'm afraid I've got to get rid of much of the old stuff!!! Thus, Tekyu's Online Yardsale will be open for business again within the next 2 weeks! My robotech/macross stuff, Beast Wars/Tfs, Some McFarlane, Anime tapes, Playstation, NES and Super Nintendo games. S'all good!!!
Heya!!!! THis is tekyu! SOrry no updates anytime lately, I've been busy with NG EVANGELION the DVD and production model figures, Spawn 17 and new Mcfarlane figures, My playstation 2, Final Fantasy 9 and work. %-P No Further updates until further notice.
Hiya! :D Sorry I've been unable to do updates lately. Been working and going to school %-P However, much good has come about from this work! I've picked up Beast Machines Supreme CHeetor, Ultra Jetstorm, Mega Tankor (finally!), and Dinobots Triceradon. So I'll be updating the Beast Machines reviews asap. I also picked up Legend of Mana, Vagrant Story and Saga Frontier 2 for the PSX so updates will also have to be done once I can pull my carcass from the infernal machine :P THe Reviews to come list in Spawn in a Jar have been updated and the Land of the NON-Spawn has a HEFTY amount of updates to be made! Got images a plenty, no use for em yet though and no place to put em. Gonna scrap the idea of a Gundam Wing series review cuz I just got the movie a few weeks ago which I was intending to be the jewel for the review... but was severely disappointed and will for the moment scrap the idea entirely. Got pics and some spoilers for the Final Fantasy movie, just gotta figure out how this flatbed scanner works >_< Hmmm.... Lesee.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREA! :D S'all fer now! Keep them eyes peeled for more reviews!
The Final Fantasy Section is going down. Due to lack of support from visitors I cannot waste my time on it any longer. Frankly my Spawn in a Jar page, Bubblegum Universe and review pages are better received. But I must sadly say that today is the day it is iced. While brainstorming some anime reviews I've come to a decision of spotlighting in depth reviews of particular things that cross my way (IE: Patlabor - Movies, TV series, OAV's and comic all in one. Plus added reviews on merchandising). Spawn in a Jar is going to be getting TONS of reviews , but since going on eBay I am still tallying figures! >_< NO, I don't have a problem! I can stop whenever I feel like it... sure I can... really! Er... anyway, big hello to Shae out there ^_^ Wanted to give you thanks for giving me input on the page. Ummm.... played Dead or Alive 2 again and it makes palying DOA1 rather difficult knowing that it's finally out there!!!! ARRRGH!!!! Must get PSX2!!! >_< Uhhhh.... oh yeah!!! I'll be moving some images to another site soon cuz they take up tons of space and well... angelfire is givin' off them choke and sputter vibes which I must say is disconcerting indeed. That and I believe that they are not giving out extra diskspace anymore. So I'm stuck. Anyway, in the next few days expect to see some minor changes and some images going *POOF!*. Later!
I took a look at Spawn in a Jar after a friend of mine made a comment about it (a good one! YAY!) and I've started re-writing all the current reviews and adding the new ones. Unfortuantely my computer (the one with images, files, etc.) is not online for the moment. THUS I am stuck using someone else's until its repair. ALSO You may have noticed some odd things with Angelfire lately... Don't worry, I haven't gotten rid of ANY of the pages nor images. But nonethless ANgelfire seems to be extremely twitchy. I tried taking a look at the main page and go a "PAGE NOT FOUND" message. I had to reload about 3 times until it came up and many of the images were not working. For the moment I'm not quite sure what to do about that.
Well I've done some minor phantom updates as well as made some important decisions considering the jar's future. If you want something kept, now's the time to voice your choice by emailing me (it's plastered at the bottom of about every section). As SOME of you may or may not have noticed I have become somewhat obsessed with Dead or Alive for the playstation and ended up going to eBay to find it (as well as some great deals on all the Spawn figures I could ever want!!!! :D), now that the dreamcast has gotten DOA2 I can't wait for the PSX2 any longer and have decided to make for the Dreamcast, of course by the time I can get the money for it I'll probably be able to afford a PSX by the time I have money for a dreamcast. >_< ANYWAY!!! I will be updating Spawn in a Jar, Am *considering* the demise of Land of the Non Spawn, Preparing to finally unleash my introduction to Anime page, Do a serious clean up of the Transformers Area, Make some minor repairs to Bubblegum Universe. replace some old images with some new ones and tweak some of the old ones to look new and make my rants sound better by making some minor revisions. All in all, some good news for the jar. THat's all for now, until my next update, this is Tekyu signing off.
I put up reviews for Bubblegum Crisis episodes 1-3 in The BGC area of Bubblegum Universe. I'll be going around fixing broken image links so don't expect a whole lot of new things to pop up for a bit, just fixing things on which I am behind. I also have the cesspool to help with ^_^ Looks for finished reviews of the FF7 figures, Gundam Wing reviews of Sandrock, Heavyarms and Altron, Spawn in a Jar reviews on Phantom of the Opera playset, Hunchback of Notre Dame playset (BIG SUPER UUUUWWWWAAAAOOOOOO Thanks to MJ on that ^_^) and Norman Bates MM2 (Again, THANK YOU MJ!!!!!!!!!). Other than that looks for things fixed. :)
Whoa ^_^; I picked up a copy of Gamers Republic today, I have decided to get mah self a Dreamcast and Dead or Alive 2. The first game was reason enough for me to enjoy owning a playstation, unfortunately I was never able to buy it as I never had the moeny on me when the opportunity to purchase it presented itself. I could rant forever about how incredible that game is but my words don't do it justice, and don't get me started on the Final Fantasy stuff! WOOOOO!!!! >_< It'd take me years to shut up! Anyway, I'm going to post a few more pictures. Hurrah. :) Uhhh.... nothing much new to report 'cept I've started on the reviews of the FF7 figures (Cloud, Barret, Tifa & Aeris).
Well it's St. Patrick's day ^_^ Woo hoo!!! Didn't exactly party my brains out even though I'm pretty fraggin' Irish :P Er... anyway, bunch of new images put up in the Jar, mainly just scans but I have a few images for DEAD OR ALIVE 2 I'll probably put up. And I after the last reported episode of Gundam Wing, the plot thickened and my interest has risen even higher ^_^ Yes, the dubbing still sucks and it is still somewhat badly acted by most of the characters (Duo has Scott McNeil's voice! WOO HOO!!! :D) and many of them I happen to recognize, some were well cast (DUO!!! Heero's the Guy who played Terry Bogard in the Viz Fatal Fury dubs, David Kaye who was Soun Tendo in Ranma 1/2 and Megatron in Beast wars & Beast Machines is somewhere in there but I can't quite make out who he is. Earilier I wrote that David Kaye played Genma, I forgot he actually played Soun. Genma was played by Ian Corlett who portrays Cheetor in Beast Wars/Machines and is also in GUNDAM WING. ) while some were plain irritating (Lady Une, General Septum, and much of the cannon fodder troops which really get under my skin!). The Deathscythe kit still needs to be reviewed but much of them will have to wait until I can clean up my shelves and closet. I am also looking into another job at the moment. Hoorah! :P Thanks again Xavier for signing the guestbook and dernit bro... flattery aboot mah' silly lil page will get you somewhere! >:-= The painting incident of Wing Gundam will be put up with its review in the Land of the NON-Spawn Anime division. That's all for now, goodnight. :)
Well I've seen the first 6 episodes of GUNDAM WING aired on the Cartoon Network's Toonami anime block, and I am hooked. Though the dubbing has made much of it painful to watch and the bad voice acting much of the cast does (or perhaps it's direction? I'm not sure.) not help. Thankfully there are the different versions which makes things somewhat better, but since even the "uncut" versions are Y7-FV I doubt it's really quite THAT uncut. Anyhoo, I've been doing nothing but Gundam for the last few days >_< Who knew?!? Well not entirely Gundam, as my pal Mike graciously gave me Todd MacFalane's MONSTERS Hunchback of Notre Dame and Phantom of the Opera playsets. ^_^ And arranged to get me a Norman Bates figure. I put up the review for Deathscythe Hell in Anime Division Non spawn, but I didn't write the review for the previous Deathscythe because I was so pumped up about my Deathscythe Hell HG figure at the time and I fell asleep shortly afterward. What else is new? Well first off I gave blood :O AIIIEEEEE!!!!! Man I hate needles... ummmm.... Ah yes! Images ^_^ I have a few new images as well as some which have been tweaked (for example the LUM images :P) and a few others. I gotta go to sleep now because I'm tired. Look forward to a Gundam Wing review sometime soon and I've begun painting Wing Gundam, I'll talk about that another time.
My friend Tetujin has told me some amazing things about things to come in Final Fantasy, he even showed me some clips of the coming movie! ^_^ Man he rocks!!! Ummm... where was I? Oh yeah, He also finished some more reviews of BGC ^_^ I'll have those up ASAP. I picked up a 5" Gundam Deathscythe and I'll be getting Gundam Deathscythe-HELL tommorow. I'll be sure to put up some scans from the catalog, Deathscythe/Duo Maxwell is officially my favorite character in Gundam wing ^_^ His rather perky attitude while piloting the Gundam harvester of death seems just incredibly amusing. Besides Deathscythe looks coolest in my opinion. :P I am messing with more images as you might guess. Scanning and editing every chance I get on the comp, so expect to see several new images by Tekyu's own doing ^_^
Well I found a few HTML problems plaguing my lil Jar ^_^; I fixed it so everything should be running smoothly for the moment. I was playing with my Prime of Justice last night and thought that 2 of the images were so cool that I might as well put them up! :D Along with some really great Sailor Moon scans I've done such as the one featured in this update. Oh you probably noticed the change in the organization of my News updates ^_^ Crume' came down to visit and I showed him my news section and he got really confused until he realized the order it went in ^_^; So I decided to re arrange it, I did cut and pasting for about an hour and corrected some of the spelling and grammar errors. And some sentences were so annoying (I was using WORD you see) I just cut them out. >_< It for some reason didn't really bug me too much about the emoticons, yay! :D GOOD NEWS! Gundam WING Premieres tommorow on Cartoon Network!!! I saw the first 6-7 episodes a couple of weeks after it first aired a couple of years ago, but they were ALL in pure Japanese. And seeing that all I really know how to do in Japanese is swear and show excitement, most of the dialogue was way over my head. %-P Oh yes, in the Beast Machines section of TF Area I put up the finished reviews for Jetstorm and Optimus Primal.
I just saw a commercial for Beast Machines Optimus Primal and Jetstorm ^_^' 2 kids talk about meeting somewhere after school and when they meet up they yell stuff about Optimus and Jetstorm, transform them and show some of their gimmicks while quick clips of the TV show are shown. Altogether a pretty lame commercial ^_^' Hopefully this won't kill the toyline. Anyway... UPDATES! A few new things have popped up! Last night I went through a box where a kept some stuff from my old anime mecha model kits as well as several other anime related paperwork, and found some very cool images to scan ^_^ Two you'll note are the background on the main page and the picture of Rola which is the logo/button thingy for Land of the Non-Spawn which now has its very own page and will soon have a mess of updates! Hmm... Ah yes, the girl acting as the logo for Anime Obsession is from some series I've never heard of but whose mode kits I had four of: Galient, Azolba, Azolba Zee and Zuwel. All of which were in Japanese, which I cannot read and were eventually destroyed sadly. But the Japanese paperwork remained! Hoorah! Anyway I might scan some of the mecha pics too. But she caught my eye because she was well... "uuuwwwaaaooooo!!!!!!!!!!!" to put it lightly and she has RED HAIR! WOO HOO!!! *drool* ^_^ But then again I doubt anyone really care about my preferences in the slightest ^_^' SO I'll stop there %-P more images have already been uploaded and I'm working on some other stuff I've scanned so expect new images popping up. Ummm... well that's it for tekyu's news today ^_^ Goodnight world :)
It's final ^_^ Land of the Non Spawn is being moved and I already have some things to add to it. And for those of you who disagree with my anti-Bandai rant, I have a few items I have decided to review in Land of the Non Spawn. Namely my Gundam V (01) figure, My Rockman X - ALL X model kit/figure, and the Gundam wing - WING GUNDAM 01 figure which I will have reviews for soon. ^_^ They're totally cool and since I went and review those other things I might as well continue while I'm on a roll ^_^ Hoo ha!!! And I will also have reviews of the Final Fantasy 7 figures: Barret, Cloud, Tifa and Aeris. I almost have the Beast Machines Optimus Primal & Jetstorm reviews finished as well as the BGC Tokyo 2040 review ^_^ Watch for those as most updates and such have not been mentioned.
Okay, a few new things to note, I got the Autolycus figure from the Toy Biz XENA: Warrior Princess toy line, I myself am neither a big Xena nor Hercules fan. However I am nuts about Bruce Campbell ever since I saw Evil dead years ago :D He rocks! I'll have a review for him in Land of the Non-Spawn, speaking of that I might be moving Land of the Non-Spawn to its own page since it's pretty big now ^_^'
In the wonderful world of Transformers I checked out some stuff on a recent toy fair and saw the bulk of the Beast Machines lineup which looks AWESOME!!! I look forward to ALL of it with great anticipation! The Smaller Dragon Megs, the Supreme Cheetor (super sweet! ^_^), the recolored Optimal Optimus, the recolored TM Rhinox, the recolored T Rex Ultra Megs and the rest of the Dinobots. What disturbs me though is the new line of BEAST WARS: MUTANTS which are basically defunct Fuzors... they have no robot modes, the turn into another animal. *shrug* One I believe might even be making an appearance in Beast Machines I hear, in the episode called "Savage Noble". From the World of Spawn there is much to celebrate!!! Nitro Riders is coming son, and following that come the remakes of previous characters in Spawn series (Clown, Al Simmons, Spawn, Medieval Spawn and Tiffany) and following that is Spawn: Interlink 6 which is a group of six robotic figures that combine to form a huge monster of a toy! Also coming are the Movie Maniacs, Austin Powers, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper and SOOOOO much more! Altogether Tekyu is gonna be REAL happy is he can get the money to purchase all these, of course I still have a LOT to catch up on Beast Wars wise as well as MacFarlane wise.
Yup... we all know what day it is... ACK!!! And though this disgusting now hallmark makeout lovers day does make me down, I have some updates non-valentine related. ^_^ I am putting together a Coming Attractions area showcasing things telling of that which is to come into existence sometime soon ^_^ Hoorah! The directories are almost all fixed except for I believe The Transformers area... which still needs the Jetstorm review. D'oh!!!! >_< Ah yes! Good News!!! My close friend Tetujin is now making a webpage! :D Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! I'm going to try and help him out with it so I probably won't do as much updating as I'd like %-P Hee hee... It also grinds to a crawl, my review of BGC Tokyo 2040, which I finally got started on! :O Oh well ^_^ It needs proofreading anyway, and it also has many a tweak to be changed. The featured pic for this update is of Alana from Persona ^_^ The game I have been playing a lot of lately. :P For now that's all so take care and sleep tight, etc. :D Later ^_^
Last night I went out and saw the Tigger Movie ^_^ yayyyy! :D I also got a copy the dubbed Americanized (*gag*) version of the Sailor Moon R movie which I will have a review for in the new sailor Moon area along with reviews of the ORIGINAL movies which I have fan subbed. I also FINALLY got a Jetstorm!!!!! :D His review will be up in the Beast Machines Area naturally :) I can spoil it right now though.. HE RULES!!!! If you can get him, GET HIM!!! Fantastic figure ^_^ As you may or may not have noticed I have arranged things into directories which have done a tad more harm than good for the moment. So I will alleviate things to the best of my ability, if there are STILL problems please please PLEASE someone tell me!!! My mood's shifted so I'm doing a bit better. Anyway be on the lookout for my new additions in Spawn in a Jar and elsewhere ^_^
Well I did a whole mess of stuff in Spawn in a Jar... at least 3 hours worth of repairs spelling corrections, etc. And then I lost it because Angelfire is obviously on the brink at the moment, and I couldn't even get an image my sister scanned on here!!!! It's finally up, my new email image. It is being showcased in Spawn in a Jar which just received a new add on below it. ^_^ It is called Land of the NON-Spawn! Which is set up to cover figures NOT made by MacFarlane toys but are either SOOOO good or SOOOO bad that I feel a review is necessary to make up for my impulse purchases. >_< Now up in Spawn in a jar are reviews for Gene Simmons/The Ringmaster, KISS: Psycho Circus 2 pack! :D Yayyyy!!! ALSO there will be an extensive tip on modifying your own figures without too much hassle which I had ALL typed up... then lost, but I'll do it again anyway... ack. In Land of the Non-Spawn I have reviews for Darkstalkers 3: Jon Talbain VS. B.B. Hood and DINOZAURS. I will put up links to both my FF figure reviews and my beast Wars Collection Area as well. I just this week started at a new school so if you don't get email from me for awhile don't be mad ^_^' I'm really busy here, and I also am having to deal with work %-P ugh! Stupid work!!! I'm short on cash and now that the Beast Machines are actually HERE I can't buy them! :( frickin... *shniff* Well anyway, this also means I cannot buy BGC Tokyo 2040 tapes 2 & 3. :( So I'll also get to that blasted review on the first tape like I should have done already. Other than crap in my personal life there's nothing new to report. Be on the lookout for new updates on each page.
Yayyyyy ^_^ I got the reviews up in the Beast Wars Transmetals 2 area, I have a lot of figures to catch up on and the reviews I did may seem sort of bitter as I was in a bad mood at the time I wrote them... see last update. I was also kind of miffed cuz of my TM2 Dinobot being broken.... grrrr.... *shniff* :( I've not slept a wink all night and I found my RG Veda tapes so I've been watching those... *sigh* I love the music for that series ^_^ Er... anyway, I've got some other things in the works for the *ME* section if anyone cares, but I'm still considering whether or not to go through with it. No matter, It's mah page so it's groovy any way I slice it! :D BWA HA HA HA!!!!! Er... yah... well anyway, I have much MUCH merfing to catch up on before I commit to other projects on this site! I still need feedback folks ^_^ Xavie and Angel were kind enough to help out (thanks a lot :D Luv ya lots! I really appreciate it!), but I need feedback for most of my areas as for which needs kid's gloves and which areas need to be beat down like red-headed stepchildren! :-= For now people, look for mild changes and slight touch ups to things which REEEEEALLY need them %-P Other than that, not much else to report. This be Sean Tekyu, signing off...
Well Looks like Armageddon didn't happen ^_^' Er... things have been hectic to a frightening point lately in my personal life... and I've been sort down. Big thanks to my friends who were there for me, and thanks also to the friends who were just THERE that I couldn't tell how bad I felt or why. Anyway, updates er... will quite possibly be hindered... I am extremely please to see that my dear friend Davie is online ^_^ Yayyyyy!!!! :D And it would appear Angel is too! :D Double yet!!!! ^_^ Thanks a lot for signing the guestbook, I appreciate it :) I *FINALLY* beat Final Fantasy VIII!!!! ^_^ So I’ll give my final review of that soon with some tips as well (Hey Carly come on down sometime so I can show you the ending :-P).
Hmmm.... Well before this turns into an online journal which is probably too late to stop, I'll end the latest update here... Happy New Year everyone, Stay happy and stay safe :)
December 18, 1999
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Angelfire approved me for extra diskspace! :D YAYYYYY!!!!! ^_^ The Intro to Anime section will be soon getting some more stuff, Anime Images will have several new things added ASAP, little notes of improvement in the Beast Wars reviews area. Improvement being that reviews will be added along with the links to images :-= I *DO* have a guestbook finally! ^_^' I just wish more people were signing it tho... %-P SIGN!!! Blast you! :-= I finally beat Final Fantasy VIII and am STILL stuck in Xenogears (ACK! Just shoot me!), Have a few notes to add in the beast wars reviews and in other areas ^_^' I learned that many people are not here for the transformers area :( A shame really. But nonetheless I'll keep it up for those few who enjoy it (myself included). Hmmm.... nothing much else has changed or is slated to be changed, 'cept I may redecorate again. :D Ummm... leseeee.... other than that I hope everyone has a safe Christmas ^_^ And that stuff doesn't suck :)
Okay ^_^ time for updates! The victims of my quests for memory, (before I asked Angelfire to add more memory to my site) are the following: TF News, TF Yardsale (things leftover will be given away for Christmas and the remainder to charity), The final fantasy reviews I'd had written and certain images were removed to create space. I have to do the reviews for my beast wars figures that I've been slacking on %-P As well as some other things I've gotten. ^_^ Some of you may or may NOT have noticed the new backgrounds, I decided to give angelfire's library a try and BOY did things turn out well! :D They look really good! And I noticed that since changing the background it's loading much faster (of course since I'm unfortunately forced to use Microsoft IE (which I might add SUCKS as does windows which sabotages every program it's supposed to run. >:( Grrrrr...) everything take forever to load. %-P ' I keep thinking I would hafta craft one from pure HTML :-= Oh and Season's greetings to all of you ^_^ Happy holidays! Guestbook addedMerry Christmas and Happy Hanu... er.. damn I dunno how to spell it ^_^ D'OH! Anyway happy happy joy joy ^_^ Oh yeah :D My jar oh jar has finally reached 1000 hits! :D I so proud ^_^ I don't know where this rush of people came from, but I glad it did :) The FMC shrine got nixed cuz well... I don't feel it's my place to make one, and er... ANYWAY, people who have read this silly news-type rant of mine THANK YOU ^_^ I appreciate it very much :D ^_^ Until next update, this is Sean Tekyu ^_^ Signing off, good day :)
Lotta stuff been changed and merfed with and killed. I will go into detail as to WHAT died, tomorrow as my time is short. Thanks Nicky.
FINALLY! I cleaned up Anime Obsession so it looks good now, added a few links and Banners while I was at it. I asked an associate for some backgrounds and one of them was the Ranma image now acting as background for Anime obsession! Neat eh? Also, the first Bubblegum Review is up! It's for Bubblegum Crash part 1 and it's well... naturally in the Bubblegum Crash area of Bubblegum Universe so check it out! Thanks again Xavie! :D I haven't done too much lately, in fact I still haven't saved the jar onto disk yet! AIIIIEEEEE!!!!! Main reasons I haven't done all the Jar maintenance I'd like is cuz my house was being painted until 2 days ago, and after moving all that crap around my back is KILLING ME!!! I'll try and do a few more updates to other areas, please excuse the pop-ups now appearing everywhere, Angelfire has made some... changes. They've even rearranged the whole page writing thing! ARRRGH!!!!! Well anyway, I've also noticed a MASSSIVE rise in the number of people hitting the Jar and its' numerous parts ('cept for the TF area... ^_^' D'oh!). That's all today from Tekyu in a Jar! Oh, and check out the message board thingy! :D It's cool ^_^
I'm getting as much as I can done, updated, uploaded, etc. but a big distraction just came back into my life %-P Fake Moonchat has returned from the dead! As a part of the new anime city you can reach it by clicking on the Animecity banner in Anime Obsession. I'm also about to go through some security procedures the ensure that the Jar lives on :-= Call egotistical, call it silly, but I like my page and I'd very much like to keep it so I'll be taking off some time to take care of that. ALSO I've got several new ideas I'll put into action once that's completed. But if there's anything that causes anyone trouble (like that "smart ads" banner, totally messed up the main page!) inform me ASAP! And I will take care of it and I will also leave a note of thanks on the offending page :D :)
Wow!!!! Great news! I've been hunched over the computer for 6 hours because I've had nothing to keep me away! Maaaaajor changes going on throughout the jar, some you'll notice are: The background on the main page has been changed from the one that Crume' made for me. For one simple reason, though quite beautiful it's HUGE number of colors and different shade made trying to read ANY color text terribly difficult! Much like dropping a small colored object on some old multi-colored carpet... ^_^' But don't worry, I'll turn it into a banner :) Also, you might note that the Sailor Image area is not where it used to be... that's cuz it was moved to freeyellow!!! To see the new address click on Birdie at the bottom of this page. It's no different than the original, just that it has some ads at the bottom %-P The Lum image are has been reformatted. There will be NEW anime characters popping up including Gunsmith Cats & project A-ko! Some things MAY disappear so don't be surprised that Tekyu makes something go *POOF* 'cuz right now Tekyu is trying to Downsize. :P Soon... very soon Tekyu will acquire the ENTIRE Metal Gear Solid Collection! So I'll be sure to review that ^_^ Thanks to Old Red, Tekyu acquired 2 Cels of Priss! YES! PRISS!!! I'm getting them framed ASAP of course :D Along with that I got a record (ya know, vinyl?) soundtrack of Megazone 23 (which kicks much arse), also some other miscellaneous things. Great guy that Old Red :)
Ho hum! Still no costume... %-P S'okay, I'll do impromptu Halloween as usual %-P ACK! Anyway, My friend Crummey has a girlfriend! Uuuuuwwwaaaaaooo! Imagine that!?! So images will be slow unless I get these stupid programs in the lab to work for me :P I changed the music on the main page to "Give a Reason" from Slayers I think... Can't remember where it's from :P Anyway I got it from Kitiara's page, which I have a link to in Anime obsession. I am putting up little Ranma lines on certain pages, main page included so lemme know what you think. :) I updated Spawn in a jar with "The Crow" from McFarlane's Movie Maniacs 2 series so check out the review. Tekyu *FINALLY* picked up a copy of Xenogears!!!!!! And boy is it one hell of a game! Definitely worth it! Will have a review and info for ya...as soon as I can get to a stopping point :P Hmmm.... well I'm still working on getting the page together, but like I said I need FEEDBACK!
Geez! Halloween's around the corner and I still don't have a costume! Aieee!!!! Well anyway here's the poop on updates: Spawn in a Jar, I have set this up for reviews on Spawn and other series of figures done by McFarlane toys so go look at it... now! :P Anime Images, has been linked in 2 places on the jar... actually 3 places :P In the last news update, on the main page, and in Anime Obsession. Final Fantasy, is being tweaked and I have more project slated for that area including Toy reviews, Game reviews and little news & info that I can provide. Beast Wars Collection, has finally gotten some of the TM2 reviews up at last, more will follow as I get time with both my TFs and my computer. Other than that you'll notice minor changes popping up for a few weeks actually... :P Tekyu's still dying for some feedback so drop me a line sometime! I'd love to hear from anyone! My email's all over the place, but in case you missed it I'll post it here: tekyu@hotmail.com
Power went out at the computer lab.... %-P Had to redo EVERYTHING!!!!! Welllll.... anyway my anime Gallery has been updated! Woo hoo! Check it out at Anime Image Gallery Let me know what you think ^_^ Naturally there is, I admit, an abundance of both Chun li & Cammy Images from Street Fighter, as well as the 2 Cammys fighting eachother, but that will change :) After FINALLY getting Final Fantasy 8 things have been going pretty well but a lot is riding on my next paycheck ^_^' So it's off to work I go as usual! Means less time to update... :( I also need to put together some stuff on the McFarlane Toys I picked up! Agent Scully (X-files: Fight the Future), Hatchet (Curse of the Spawn), Revolver Ocelot (Metal Gear Solid), Dr. Evil (Austin Powers, Mandarin Spawn & Spawn: the Black Heart (SPAWN: The Dark Ages). Also I have some others I'm getting so I'll review those too along with the FF8 figures. Anyway like I said before... I also say "Anyway" too much... SO like I said before I am WAYYYYYYYY behind on this page! I hope to rectify this ASAP my apologies to those waiting on me.
Music galore! I got rid of the annoying Keytrax banner, which was the cost of having a free MIDI piece put on the page. However that's not a problem anymore as I now have replaced it with the piece "Eyes on me" which you can hear by going to the main page. The Final Fantasy section is slated to undergo major changes including updated & added links and news, Final Fantasy series reviews & highlights, and possibly a few images. You'll also note that on the FF page I have put up the music for the fight sequences in FF8, in MIDI version though. Hmmmmm..... what else..... Ah, yes! "Tekyu's Intro to Anime" is in the works! I've noticed many of my online associates have not been exposed to much Anime other than things involving tentacles or Pikachu. Well I'm hoping to change their viewpoints if I can. I'll give examples, name popular titles, and try to stay on top of what our U.S. companies are releasing.
Well, if you've come by the Jar recently you may (or may not) have noticed the rapid changes that have been occurring throughout the jar! First of all: Backgrounds! I finally have backgrounds I can use! One was made by crume' while the other was sent to e by a friend off at college :) Email is wonderful, ne? Pictures! Yes, I have again uploaded MORE pics (check the BGC image area) :) Glee n' stuff. Toys! I got Mandarin Spawn & Spawn: The Black heart! Some kick-ass toys if I do say so myself! I also have those Beast Wars figures to review. I may be expanding the jar to another site.... that should be fun %-P Anyway, keep them eyes peeled as I have tons of things going on!
Looks like Armageddon DIDN'T happen on the 9th, I guess a lot of cults are VERY upset :) Anyway, More Images have been uploaded in the Bubblegum Crisis page Image area AND I finally got a copy of Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, Vol. 1 - Shadow War I highly suggest you go by Best Buy (Tower Records, Sam Goody, whatever) and pick it up! Tekyu got his from Sam Goody for about $26. A bit pricey, but DEFINATELY worth it! I will put up a review in a couple of days when I have time... or when I can pry myself from the VCR and stop watching it ^_^'
My friend came down to visit from college and she brought me tons of Sailor Moon images! Now I can finally make a Sailor Moon page :) She also brought me some screen captures of Bubblegum Crisis & Scramble Wars from the Animeigo subtitled releases. I'll try and get these images uploaded ASAP :) I do plan some modifications to the main page that’s why images keep switching around. But I just Loooooove those Super deformed pictures of the Sisters(Particularly Birdie! Uuuuwwwwwwaaaaaoooooooooo!!!!!!)! :D Anyway, I'll try and keep you updated as progress continues. Oh and in case anyone was wondering I just registered for school.... ugh %-P And like I guessed, I am BROKE! So it looks like I'll have to buy my stuff when I get paid at my NEW old job ^_^ Make sense? It shouldn't. Anyway, I'd like feedback as to how the Jar's main page is looking. I'd also recommend hitting reload just once to make sure everything is working right. Thanks for reading this :)
Changes going on in the Beast Wars Collection area, I am adding personal critiques of each figure along with the link to pictures of each figure. ALSO In the Beast Wars links area I have put up some misc. info about the upcoming BEAST MACHINES TV series to take the place of Beast Wars, any feedback would be most appreciated particularly with the Bubblegum Universe.
College starts this week and I still haven't registered cuz I haven't had time! ACK! My apologies to those who waiting for updates, changes and such about the Jar. Even more I must apologize to those who I am currently doing trades and or sales with, this is taking up a LOT of my time (and money! AHHHHHH!!!!!! I'm gonna be broke!!!!!).
The Urusei Yatsura area is currently being worked on, but so far it's just images :) If you'd like to see it as it is, click here
SERIOUS updating goin' on throughout the jar! I'm using my spare time at home tonight to fix broken links and rearrange certain images.
An update for those of you who have noticed the images popping up all over the place: Thanks to my associate 00Puck (David Crummey), I now have improved and modified some of my images as well as crated logos and buttons for the Jar :) Awesome stuff I gotta say! The Jar just keeps looking better and better! Oh! And for those of you who were swift enough to notice my Dancing Lum image, that is a sign of things to come as I soon shall have up my Urusei Yatsura page! Yay!!! I don't know if I'll even both with links, I may just turn it into a image shrine or just totally redecorate the Jar.. again. :D
Bubblegum Universe is going splendidly! Though AD Police & Bubblegum Crash are somewhat difficult to cover and I don't have enough time to write synopsisi (or however the plural form is spelled). I also plan to do a couple of Beast Wars Reviews on Big Convoy, LioConvoy, Magmatron, Galvatron, and more.
I finally landed a job! Yay! If you want to contact me though for sales or trades it *will* take awhile for me to respond, no more than a day or two though. I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.
