Capsule: Originally designed as an offshoot from the then in development Y-wing fighter, the H-wing Fighter is the most heavily armed fighter ever designed, including the B-wing, for total destructive ability. Unfortunately the H-wing never really gained acceptance among mainstream buyers, citing reasons of excessive firepower as unnecessary. The Rebel Alliance did acquire a few and put them to excellent use until the B-wing came into service at which point almost all of them had been lost through attrition.
