Notes: The Victory III was developed while the Empire was still in its infancy but prior to the introduction of the Imperial classes of destroyer. Mainly the ship was designed to be more like it future cousin in the way of being both a space superiority ship and carrier/command ship. Based on the Victory II design, it basically dropped the bulk of its troop capacity and a third of its cargo capacity to increase its fighter capacity twofold. The Victory III now carries 4 squadrons of fighters as well as another squadron of miscellaneous fighter craft (gunboats, missile boats, skiprays, etc) along wiht 4 Lambda shuttles and 2 assault shuttles. This ship was a fearsome ship in its day and is still the most impressive of the three classes of Victory Star Destroyer.
