Jennifer Childers

Jennifer Christine Childers is a sophomore music education major from Edmond, OK. She went to Edmond North High School, and graduated in 2001. She has been the recipient of many awards such as State Superintendent's Award for Excellence in the Arts, Girls State Delegate and returning counselor, OCU Leads Scholarship recipient, Edmond North "Orchestra Queen", Edmond North Music Scholarship recipient, Margaret E. Petree Music Scholarship recipient, OCU Academic Scholarship recipient, two years as an Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute student. When asked what she would like the world to know, she replied "I have two kitties & a little Yorkshire Terrior. I am a military brat and have lived in many exciting and interesting places, such as Hawaii, California, and Japan. I like to listen to Radiohead, Bjork, Coldplay, Ladytron...as well as classical and modern orchestral music. I love to travel with my friends and family, and I overall like to have a good time! :)"
