I went to the movies with Justin and had a really good time. He asked me out and I said yes. I laid down on my bed and fell asleep.


Zac’s View: @ School:
“Hey Ash, do ya want 2 do something tonight?” I asked.

“Sure.” She said as we walked into the school.

Ash walked to her locker and put her books in. Pausing to see which things she would need for her first class. I stopped beside her and opened my locker.

“What’s up with u?” I asked.

“Nothing.” She said shutting her locker. “Why?”

“Ur just kinda out of it.” I replied.

“Sorry.” She said.

“It’s….” I said interrupted.

“Hey babe!” Justin said grabbing Ash’s hand.

“Hi.” She replied smiling.

“Let’s go.” He said pulling Ash.

She followed and walked out of sight without saying goodbye. I felt like part of me was missing. I walked to my class and looked @ Justin who had taken my seat beside Ash. I went and sat in front of her. She didn’t talk to me all hour.


That Afternoon:
I was standing @ my locker after school when Ash and Justin walked up.

“Hey twin!” Ash said.

I slammed my locker and turned around. “Don’t call me that.” I said staring at her.

“What’d I do?” She asked.

“It’s not what u did. It’s what u didn’t.” I said.

“What didn’t I do?” She asked.

“You didn’t tell me about Justin! You didn’t say more than 10 words to me all day! You promised to call me but didn’t!” I yelled.

Ash let go of Justin’s hand. “I’m sorry.” She said.

I stared at the ground.

“I’m gonna go.” Justin said leaving.

“Come on Zac. You’re my best friend. Justin will never have that.” Ash said.

“I know. Bye.” I said walking out of the school.


At my house:

I walked into our room Tay was laying on the bed reading a book. He looked up when he heard me drop my bag in it’s normal spot.

“Why the long face?” He asked.

“Bad day.” I replied.

“What happened?” He asked.

“Long story.” I said.

“I’m listening.” Tay said.

“Well there’s this girl at school. And I really like her. But I didn’t realize how much I liked her and now she’s going out with someone.” I said.

“Whose Ash going out with?” Tay asked.

“It’s not Ash.” I said flopping down on my bed.

“Well, get over her we’ll be going on tour soon.”

“We will?” I asked.

“Yeah. School’s almost over so we’re going then.”

“All summer?” I asked.

“Yeah.” He said.

“MOM!” I yelled running downstairs.

“What Zac?” She asked.

“What about my twin?” I asked.

“Did Tay tell you about the tour?” She asked.

“Yes!” I said.

“Well, u’ll get 2 see ur twin.” Mom said laughing.

“Ok.” I said smiling.

I walked out the door and across the street. I knocked on the door.


Ash’s View:
I opened the door 2 see Zac standing in front of me.

“Hey.” I said.

“I’m sorry about earlier.” He said.

“It’s ok. I understood y u were mad.” I said.

“Ok.” he replied.

“There’s this end-of-school party thing on Friday and I really don’t trust Justin’s friends that much so will u come 2?” I asked.

“Yeah.” Zac replied.

“Thank you so much.” I said.

“No prob twin.” He replied.

“So what r u planning on doing this summer?” I asked.

“Going on my very 1st tour.” Zac said.

“All summer?” I asked.

“Yeah.” He replied.

“Oh.” I said.

“Member u said u wanted 2 do something tonight.” Zac said.

“Yup, I did.” I replied.

“Let’s go to the creek.” Zac suggested.

“Ok.” I replied. “Bye mom! We’re going to the creek! Call Zac’s mom!”

We walked down to the creek there was a rope that we used to get down from the bridge. Somebody had taken it down. I watched as Zac jumped down.

“Come on Ash!” He yelled.

“How?” I asked.

“Jump!” He said.

“Last time u said that I broke my arm!” I said.

“Jump, I’ll catch u.” he reassured me.

“U better.” I replied.

“On 3.” Zac said. “1….2….3”

I jumped and Zac caught me. I sighed in relief.
“I told you I would catch you!” Zac said.

“I know.” I replied. “Zac still had me off the ground.” He smiled at me.

“Do you want down?” Zac asked.

“Yeah.” I replied.

“Ok.” he said sitting me down.

“So what do ya want to do?” I asked.

“I dunno.” He said picking up a rock and throwing it into the creek.

“Just think.. tomorrow is our last day of school.” I said.

“Yup, but I have to go on tour next week.” Zac said.

“Oh well atleast ur Friday’s filled.” I said.

Zac smiled at my poor try to cheer him up. We decided to head back home. I went upstairs and went to bed. I fell asleep quickly.
