6 days later, I sat by my hotel window, looking directly down on the crowd of
teenage girls that gathered in the front of the hotel. They were waiting for Hanson, no
doubt.
< p>
I turned my head, hearing Hunter enter our room. Yep, Billy got us a double
bedroom. As much as I wanted my own, this arrangement would have to do.
< p>
"I'm guessing they haven't arrived yet?" he said. I looked at him, and when
I opened my mouth to speak, a large amount of screaming filled the air. Signs were now
waving high above heads, and I read afew of them.
< p>
"Chris I love you? Will you marry me?" I said aloud.
< p>
"I would; but my name isn't Chris!" Hunter joked, touching my shoulder
and turning his head out the window as well.
< p>
"I don't get it. Chris is in...," I saw Joey's red hair pop out of the limo. "*N
Sync,....I should of known!" I snickered down at them. Justin and J.C. followed. I rolled
my eyes and left the window.
< p>
"Billy didn't tell you? *N Sync is sharing two rooms across the hall."
Hunter said matter-a-factly. My head whipped toward him.
< p>
"WHAT?" I shrieked. I almost sounded like one of their unhonorable fans.
Ex-Hanson fans I was thinking. Fans that left Hanson to "love" those five jerks.
< p>
"I thought you didn't like *N Sync?!" Hunter smiled. I noticed he looked
incredibly cute with his long dirty blonde hair hanging over his muscular shoulders, I
almost melted with his smile.
< p>
"Ugh, gross. It's not that. The fact is that my article was published in
today's paper. If I run into one of them, their bound to say something to me." I told him.
He stepped close to me and placed his hands on my shoulders.
< p>
"Don't worry about it. Being a scared journalist will get you no-where
Mands, just forgot them. And if they do say something to you, they can't do much about it
because the article was already published." he told me. He blue-hazel eyes fell into mine
and a chill went up and down my spine. For a slit second I thought he was going to lean in
to kiss me. But that passed. I turned my attention to the window once again. I moved
away from Hunter and stepped against the window.
< p>
"I guess *N Sync made it in in one piece. Too bad." I laughed. I noticed
more then half of the crowd was gone.
< p>

< p>
About twenty people remained, with Hanson signs. I smiled and saw their two
limos appear. The limo with the rest of the family in it turned and went around the back of
the hotel, so the kids would be safe. "Their here!" I squealed, and ran toward the door. I
heard some commotion in the hall, and I flung the door open and ran outside. "Oww." I
groaned as I fell into a head collision with someone. Someone who smelled quite sweet. I
realized we were both against the wall, and I scrambled to my feet. "I'm sorry." I
apologized, reaching a hand down to...J.C. I have had enough of *N Sync to last me a
couple of years. Ugh! I had to hold myself back from groaning.
< p>
J.C. took my hand and we worked together to pull him up.
"Thats okay...," then he recognized me, "Aren't you Amanda London? The
girl who reviewed our last concert?" he asked. At my name, Justin Timberlake turned on
his heel to look at me.
< p>
"Nice article may I add." he said. My face flamed. My eyes shot out a glow
of green and I couldn't help notice my body heat was above my usual Taylor average.
< p>
"Oh yeah..um, you didn't actually read that did you?" I questioned, my eyes
running over Joey now. He had just joined us.
< p>
"Yes we did. Very well written. I liked it." he concluded. Now I was embarrassed. I
knew just what to say thought.
< p>
"Let me explain that," I hurried,"I have absolutely nothing against you, I'm
all for you guys. I'm just not very happy with your fans...," I stopped dead. Taylor, Zac
and Isaac were gliding down the hallway, toward me...and *N Sync. J.C turned to see
what I was looking at.
< p>
"Hey guys!" he waved to Hanson. What the...? I questioned myself. Isaac
smiled and joined us quickly. J.C. and Isaac exchanged handshakes, then with everyone
else.
< p>
"How do you guys??...." I trailed off, I was almost gawking. Taylor smiled
at me.
< p>
"We met at that Rosie special a while back, and again just down stairs." he told me. I
walked toward him, and replaced his luggage with my hand. Our fingers entwined quite
tightly.
< p>
"How do you guys know each other? Did you review one of their concerts
too?" Justin asked, an eyebrow raised. I looked at him, and he smiled a "to-die-for" smile.
I ignored it and looked over my Hanson.
< p>
"Um, actually we live next to each other. We are long time friends." Isaac
explained. Zac laughed and motioned toward me and Taylor.
< p>
"I think those two pretty much explain themselves." Zac smiled. I snickered
at him and looked at J.C, my cheeks flushed.
< p>
"How..., um, how long are you staying here?" I quickly changed the
subject. Justin smiled and slapped my back like I was 'one of the guys'.
< p>
"For a week or so." he said. Zac smiled and picked his luggage back up.
< p>
"Well in that case, we'll be seeing quite alot of each other, so why don't we
go unpack?" he suggested, looking for room 312. My room was 314, *N Sync's was 313
and 315. Nice guest line up huh?
< p>
I acted on that, said good-bye to *N Sync and turned around to enter 312. Isaac
unlocked the door and let us in. "I can't believe this! Every fricken time I turn around I'm
staring *N Sync in the face!" I complained as I threw my hand up to my forehead and fell
back against one of the beds. I heard Isaac laugh, and before he could speak, the doorbell
rang.
< p>
"Could you get that? It might be..some fans. We want to finish unpacking
before we sign autographs and stuff." Taylor whispered, his voice low. I smiled at him,
stood up and opened the door.
< p>
"Hello? Oh Hunter..c'mere." I smiled, and grabbed his hand, pulling him
into the room. Zac's big brown teddy bear eyes questioned me after they glanced over
Hunter. "Oh. Sorry," I blushed, "Guys this is Hunter, my boss' younger brother. We work
together," I motioned toward Isaac. "Hunter this is Isaac, Zac and..-" Hunter jumped in.
< p>
"The all time famous Taylor." he laughed, shaking Tay's hand. My cheeks
flushed again, and I started to get agitated. Where did I get so much embarrassment cells
from? I thought to myself. Taylor smiled and glanced at me suspiciously.
< p>
"All time famous? I'm not so sure about that." he laughed. Hunter smiled
and motioned toward me.
< p>
"I meant by Amanda of course. Your all she talks about!" he said. I shoved
him by the chest and laughed.
< p>
"Na-uh!" I whined, almost feeling uncomfortable. Zac and Isaac looked at me with puppy faces.
< p>
"Don't you love us anymore?" Ike teased. I punched him playfully in the
shoulder.
< p>
"Shut up." I whispered. Hunter took my wrists and I turned toward him,
my eyes asking him what he was doing.
< p>
"Amanda and I have some business to do, so maybe we could meet up later
for dinner?" Hunter questioned. Zac's face lit up.
< p>
"Ohh. I could go for that." he nodded excitedly. I pulled Hunter toward the
door.
< p>
"Okay then. 8:00, downstairs main lobby." I said, just before winking at
Taylor and exiting.
