Carefully, I brushed my blonde hair and looked myself over in the full length mirror on the bathroom door. This hotel is awesome, exquist should I say. A gorgeous city view from the living room window, and this bathroom was huge. A tub, shower, sink and counter, and -what Hunter had told me to try- the back massage in the hot tub in the corner. < p> I was ready and waiting for tonight. But, I have strict orders not to leave until Hunter comes back with his surprise. Slowly, I turned and left the bathroom, heading toward our bedroom. My eyes scanned the room and lingered over the three outfits I had picked as "finalists" to chose between for tonight. I stepped forward and examined the first outfit. It was a gray spaghetti strap dress, with black velvet vines that ran over the dress and connected to the black velvet that went over the chest of the dress. "I'm going to dinner not a funeral." I whispered in disappointment. Sighing, I turned my head toward the second outfit. Black Capri dress pants with a red v-neck sleeve-less shirt, and a red scarf that would wrap around my thin neck perfectly to set off the whole outfit. Not bad, I thought to myself as I looked over the third outfit. A little baby blue slip spaghetti strap top, lace lining the chest and end of the top; it was designed of blue clouds and roses. The skirt, was a matching slip, it was plain baby blue that had lace at the end of the dress. It was such a beautiful outfit, and I had baby blue shoes, and white shoes to match. < p> Humming my favorite 98 degress songs "Dont stop the love" I got dressed. Now, I was gazing into my jade green eyes through my mirror. My blonde hair was rested on my shoulders softly, several strains sticking to my forehead. I seemed beautiful in my own mind, and my imagination drifted off. I closed my eyes and placed my right hand over my left elbow; hugging myself. My body felt weak when I softly I exhaled a deep breath, just as a knock feel on the bedroom door. "Come in." I called, blinking quickly. < p> "Hey....," A sweet voice whispered, before trailing off. It was Hunter, I could tell by his sexy tone. I turned to him, to see his mouth slightly hung. < p> "What?" I asked, looking at him then over at my reflection. "Oh..you like?" I smiled. He laughed and pulled his right hand out from behind his back. A dozen yellow, pink, red, and white roses along with babies breath were wrapped in silver paper. My breath caught in my throat, and I tried to exhale. "Hunt..er..." I trailed off, him coming close to me. What are you thinking? I asked him in my mind. Please dont turn this situation into something it doesnt have to be. I begged. < p> "Here...for being such a beautiful reporter." Hunter whispered, pressing the dozen rainbow of roses against my chest softly. I took them and hugged them close to me. I noticed something in a small red velvet draw string bag in his left hand. What? I dont understand. I thought to myself. "This is for...its..just for reasons. Undeniable reasons." he whispered, taking my hand and wrapping my fingers around the bag. < p> "Hunter.." I softly rubbed the soft fabric with my thumb. < p> "Just keep it..okay?" he said, before he turned and left. When he reached the doorway, he turned and smiled at me. "I'll see you at dinner." he whispered as he turned and left. I sighed and plopped sadly down on the bed. I bounced slightly as I hugged the flowers to my chest and feel down onto my back. < p> -.*.*.*.*.*.*.- < p> Isaac laughed softly to himself and tapped Taylor on the shoulder. Tay turned. < p> "Yeah?" he asked, his voice agitated. Ike smiled. < p> "Do you want help doing that? I mean, c'mon Tay, you of all people can't tie a tie?" he laughed at his little conclusion. < p> "Oh c'mon Ike. Give me a break, I'm nervous." he said, as Isaac reached up and tied Taylor's soft blue tie. < p> "I don't get that." Zac said, looking up from his comic book. "You and Amanda are..like..weird. You like her, she likes you, and yet you both know it..." he trailed motioning to Isaac, "and its sickening. You've been bestfriends since she was..what?...5?-" Taylor cut in. < p> "Alittle before she was 4." he adjusted. Zac rolled his eyes. < p> "And yet you both drive yourselves nuts for a dinner date that you've probably been on a hundred times." he said turning the page of his Spiderman comic. Isaac finished Taylor's tie and sat down on his bed. < p> "No kidding. Why does it bother you so much? It is just Amanda..and that new guy, he's pretty nice, Hunter." he said. Taylor groaned and reached for a brush, and an rubber band. He brushed his shiny golden hair and pulled it into a low ponytail at the back of his neck. He looked at himself in the mirror, and noticed his crystal eyes were wet and shiny. His eyes were telling him something was going to happen tonight, something that would bring us together, in a way more unimaginable then ever. < p> "...hey...Tay..its time to go.." Taylor heard Zac's voice interrupt his thoughts. < p> "Oh..already?" he asked. < p> "Yeah, c'mon. I'm hungry and I'm not about to wait up for you." Zac said, turning and leaving the room. Isaac shrugged and grabbed Taylor by the back of the shirt, taking them both outside. He locked the door with his card and looked at Taylor. < p> "No you can't get back inside." he said, as if he was thinking about something. Taylor raised an eyebrow, rolled his eyes and went to the elevator, where Zac and Hunter were waiting for him and Isaac. < p> "Where's Amanda?" Ike asked. Hunter smiled. < p> "She's almost ready..I think..she should be down soon." he said, as they went down to the main lobby. < p> -*.*.*.*.*.*.*- < p> I sighed and stepped out of my room, 10 minutes after I heard them leave to go downstairs. I touched a silver necklace I was wearing, the necklace that was in the red velvet pouch Hunter gave me. It was a diamond star, march and february stones lined the outside. It was beautiful, and I just had to wear it tonight. I stepped toward the elevator, and noticed three girls were in side it. A pretty tale blonde, with hazel green eyes; a tale brunette with brown eyes and who I'm guessing was one of their friends, a short brunette with dark eyes. All sweet to the eye. Maybe I could hook Hunter up with one of them. I laughed to myself. I turned to the girl with hazel eyes, "Where are you going?" I asked. She turned to me, smiling brightly. < p> "Main Lobby...hey, I think I saw you before. You were with that writer from the Times? Right?" she asked. I pressed the bottom to the Main Lobby and couldnt help but smile at her. < p> "Yep. That was me..Hunter is a friend of mine. We work together." I told her. Her eyes were locked with mine, and they were friendly and golden. I've never seen eyes that color, and instantly I thought of a book I've read a lot called, it was titled 'Tiger Eyes' and I couldn't help but to compare the two. That would be funny if her name was Tiger. I thought to myself. Her friend, a short brunette looked at me, I smiled to her. < p> "My name is Amanda." I said, extending my hand. The brunnette took it and we shook hands. < p> "I'm Sarah." she said. I turned to the Tiger Eyes girl and she smiled. < p> "I'm Lauren." < p> "Hi." I said, as the other tale brunette shook my hand. < p> "Colleen." she said. < p> "Hi." I said, as the elevator stopped at the 4th floor, due to someone wanting to get on. < p> "I think I saw you with *N Sync..and Hanson..do you know them?" Colleen asked. I smiled. < p> "Yeah. I've been friends with Hanson for a while now..and I meet *N Sync about two weeks ago when I had to do a review of their concert." I told her. < p> "Oh..your Amanda London?" Sarah asked, her eyebrow raised. I laughed. < p> "Yep. You guys like *N Sync..or Hanson?" I asked, knowing they probably didn't..they most of all the Hanson fans liked *N Sync now. < p> "Hanson is cool..I like some of their songs..but I like *N Sync too." Lauren said. I smiled as a stubby man from the 4th floor got on. He snickered, and I knew he was a bitter man, he punched the bottom for us to go to the 6th floor. < p> "I like *N Sync." Sarah said. Colleen laughed. < p> "BSB all the way!" she said. I smiled at them and we stopped on the 6th floor and quietly watched the man meet a lady up there and get off. < p> "Are you going to dinner?" I asked. < p> "Yeah..are you?" Lauren asked. I smiled. < p> "Yep..actually I'm having dinner with Hanson and Hunter." I said, touching the necklace again. Instantly my mind jumped to Taylor, instead of Hunter oddly < p> "Oh cool." Lauren said. I smiled for the eighth time and raised my eyebrow, a light bulb shinging. < p> "You guys wanna join us? I don't think they would mind much." I said. Let's hope they don't. I prayed quietly. < p> "Seriously? Cool." Colleen laughed. She turned to Lauren and Sarah. "You guys ready to meet Hanson?" she asked with a laugh. I smiled. < p> "And Hunter." Lauren and I added at the very same moment. < p> -*.*.*.*.*.*.*.- < p> Hunter crossed his arms over his chest and slumped in his chair. < p> "You said 10 minutes..its been half an hour." Zac groaned. Hunter looked at him. < p> "I know. When I was with her she was changing, " Taylor's ears perked up, "I guess she didn't like what she had on." Hunter said. Isaac snuck a glance at Taylor, noticing Tay's ears were pink. He's not very happy with Hunter being with her is he? he asked himself. < p> -.*.*.*.*.*.*.- < p> I stepped into the dinner hall, my three friends at my sides. < p> "Wow, that Hunter guy really is as gorgeous as you said he was." Lauren leaned in and whispered. I looked at her, our eyes connecting. Something about her eyes spoke to me, and I knew we would grow to be the best of friends; even if she lives in New York. That wouldn't come between us. I smiled at her. < p> "Yeah, but he's not as hot as Taylor though!" I laughed. She rolled her eyes as we laughed and approached the boys. Taylor, Isaac, Hunter and Zac all came to their feet to greet us. "Ike, Tay, Zac, Hunter I want you to meet my new friends Lauren," I motioned toward Lauren, "Sarah and Colleen." I motioned to them. Hunter stepped forward, taking their hands and kissing each of them softly. I smiled and looked at Taylor. "Is it alright if they join us?" I asked. Tay seemed alittle let down, and I felt sad, but that passed quickly. < p> "Well..I was sorta..-" Hunter cut in before Taylor could finish. < p> "Of course they can. Have a seat ladies." He went to one table, and stole three chairs, pulling them toward the table and assist them get seated comfortably. I leaned toward Taylor, and touched his hand. < p> "We'll have our time, I promise." I whispered to him, kissing behind his ear quickly. I turned toward everyone, and noticed Hunter was looking at me. His eyes glued to the necklace. I covered it with my hand quickly and sat down. Taylor followed, sitting next to me. Lauren smiled and kneed me under the table, I turned to her and laughed, rolling my eyes at her. She knew what I meant by 'We'll have our time'. But, if it were anyone else I would have felt strange, but I didn't. I felt like I was telling something to someone I might never see again. And, for a weird reason, I liked that feeling. < p> "I am starving. The waiters been here 5 times so far, but I had to wait for you to come!" Zac whined. I shook my head. < p> "Oh you poor baby." Colleen said. We all laughed, and Hunter waved the waiter over.
