Chapter 13

Chapter 15- Hunter sighed and sat up. "What's wrong?" I asked him, groaning as I turned over to look up at him. He was sleeping on the bed, and I had taken the floor. Even thought I knew I would be paying for it in the morning. I didn't like sleeping on hotel beds, they always were so hard and..so..unfamiliar. My night with Tay had been wonderful. We had our alone time, and did nothing but talk. Yeah, I know your thinking "what kinda talk", and I want to tell you all we did was talk, and sure, we did kiss..alittle..but that's all the happened. I swear. "I can't sleep. It's too hot." he lied. Hot? Please..three AC's were on, and I'm not cold. Nor am I hot. I'm comfortable, too bad I couldn't say the same for him. "Oh. Want some cocoa or somethin?" I asked. Hunter pushed his brown/blonde hair out of his eyes and looked down at me. "What's up with you and cocoa?" he asked, almost laughing. I loved to drink hot cocoa in the morning. Instead of coffee I would drink cocoa to wake me up. I've been doing it for years now. I rolled my eyes and got up. "Is that a yes or no?" I called from the kitchen. Hunter groaned, and I heard him leave the bed. The hotel suit was dark, and the only light was from the gorgeous pool that was two stories below us. I looked at the oven clock, 2:37 am. I groaned and made us cocoa. "Here." I said to Hunter, as I curled up on the couch by the window. I looked out the window and saw the beautiful pool shimmering into the air. There were people in the pool, two girls. The blonde looked up at me and smiled. I looked away then glanced back down. It was Lauren. I waved to her, and she waved for me to come down. I laughed, shaking my head, showing her my cocoa. She and...who I concluded was Colleen.., pouted and waved for me (and Hunter) to come down. I smiled and turned away from the window. Hunter was sitting in the dark corner of the room, his handsome face just lit softly by the light. "Hey, I have an idea." I said, uncurling and standing up. My cocoa was cold, already, so I dumped it in the sink and went to our bedroom again. I grabbed my pastel pink halter-top bathing suit and searched for Hunters black swim shorts. "They were in the bathroom." Hunter laughed, joining me in the bedroom. I smiled, pushing my hair behind my ear. Quietly I went into the extremely large bathroom and changed into my bathing suit. My green eyes were a perfect match with the suit, and they stood out innocently. I finished, and after quickly combing my hair, I went to the bedroom again. "I'll meet you down there, OKay?" I said, feeling blind from Hunter's gorgeous form of being. He stepped close to me, pushed some fallen strains behind my ear, kissing it at the same time. I tilted my head away from him, stepping away. "OKay?" I asked. He smiled. "Alright..but hurry." he said. I rolled my eyes, watching him leave. I reached toward the phone, and quickly dialed Taylor's room number. I heard it ring behind the wall. Opps..I forgot..there room was next door. I laughed and waited. I heard someone sturr and then I heard a bang. That's most likely Taylor, he likes to run into things when he's sleepy. "Hello?" Taylor's cracked, sleepy voice asked. I smiled. "Hey babe." I whispered. I heard him move back toward his bed. "Amanda? It's 3 in the morning..what are you doing up? I have a show tomorrow." he groaned. I didn't apologized. "I'm coming over in 2 minutes, change into your bathing suit." I said. "Wha-" I heard him say as I hung up the phone. I pressed my ear to the wall and heard him groan as he rummaged through his dresser draw. With a smile, I stepped into the hallway. It was bright, and it hurt my eyes. I squinted and softly knocked on Taylor's door. I heard a doorknob and I turned around. J.C was standing in his door way. I exhaled deeply, stopping myself from groaning. No matter where I went, someone from *N Sync was there to haunt me. "What are you doing up?" he asked, rubbing his eyes. "Did I wake you up?" I was ready to apologize as I knocked on Taylor's door again. He most have falled back alseep. "No..well..I dunno. Too tired to remember." J.Cs husky voice cracked from being tired. "Oh." "What are you doing," he looked at the clock down the hallway, he squinted, "up at quater of 3?" he asked. I smiled, knocking on Tay's door harder. "Midnight affairs?" J.C laughed. "No. A bunch of my friends went down for a swim, and I just called Tay to bring him down, but he's answering the door now." I said, stepping toward my door. I turned the knob. "Shit." I groaned, stomping against the door. "Forgot your card?" he asked. I nodded, trying to fidget with the knob. Let's just hope Hunter brought his card down with him! "C'mon.." I whined to the door. J.C grabbed at my hand and guided me toward his room. "Use our phone. Joey and Chris will sleep through anything." he laughed softly. I looked at Taylor's door and then walked toward J.C's door. Taylor grabbed his towel and opened the door quietly. He was trying to move quietly around so Ike and Zac didn't wake up. He peaked outside, and expected to see me. I stepped into J.C's hotel suit and he shut the door behind us. Taylor couldn't believe his eyes. "What game is she playing?" Taylor whispered, just then the phone rang. Taylor tip- toed quietly over to the phone and picked it up. "Hey?" he asked. "I just knocked 4 times, why didn't you answer the door?" I whispered. Taylor cleared his throat. "You woke Isaac up and now he won't let me go out. He says I need to rest for tomorrow's show." he lied. I frowned. "Oh..can't you sneak out anyway?" I asked, looking in J.C's direction. He was making faces at me, and I tried not to laugh. "Sorry..what Ike? Oh..alright. Gotta go Amanda, I'll see you tomorrow. Bubye." he hung up. I sadly hung up J.C's white phone and looked at him. "He can't go.." I said. J.C looked at me, then around the room. "Hey..." I said, realizing I had woken him up, why not treat him to a swim. "Wanna go with me?" I asked him. J.C smiled. "Sure.." he said, reaching for him swim shorts. "I'll be outside." I laughed softly, whispering a soft goodnight to the sleeping Joey and Chris. Lauren saw a shadow appear by the entrance of the pool and a shiver ran up her spine. "Hunter?" she called, seeing his gorgeous form appear into the light. "Hi." he said, dropping a white towel onto a seat and making his way to the pool. Lauren smiled, and swam to the side. "Jump in." she dared, knowing the water was alittle cool when you first enter it. Hunter smiled, and dove over her head and into the pool. She laughed, and then heard a soft giggle. She knew it wasn't Colleen, coz Colleen was under the water, so was Hunter. Lauren turned, again, toward the entrance. She held her breath hoping it wasn't a hotel manager or something. I slid my hand down to the hook of the large wooden door that lead to the pool. I turned to J.C and held one finger over my lips, telling him to be quiet. He smiled and waved me in. I laughed softly, and waved to Lauren. "Hi. Is it cold?" I asked, dipping my toe into the water. Oh..perfect. "Nope. Perfect!" she said, swimming toward me. "Hey..how old is Hunter?" she asked, a sparkle in her eye. I smiled and thought for a moment. "Um..old enough..27 28 around there. He'd too old." I told her with a smile. "Oh. But that's the excitement." Lauren winked at me and swam toward the center of the pool.
