I see your smiling face
feel your loving embrace
Knowing nothing can ever take the place
It's as though I'm in heaven
Something soft and so dear
I suppose that's why I long to hold you near
yet also finding my self with fear
fear of waking up and not having you here.
I think of the future
picture you pushing our kids on a scooter
teaching them to ride a bike
Taking them on a midnight hike
