on November 19, 2000, i made my first visit to Arrowhead Stadium... and it was awesome!!!!!!! we (my son, his girlfriend and myself) got to the stadium
several hours before game time... and waiting in line to get into the parking lot was an experience
in itself!!! all the cars decorated in arrowheads... Chiefs flags... painted red and yellow... i felt like
a lil kid in a candy store.. and i was about to burst!!!!!
even tho we arrived early, we had to wait in line just to get into the parking lot... anticipation was killing me... but what better time to take pics??? *giggle*
we may have been early but others were even earlier... there were already people wandering around the parking lot, and getting their tailgate parties ready...
while waiting to get in we wandered down the hill to a bus that was painted red... we pecked on the window and asked if we could take a picture of it (what can i say? we live dangerously)... *lil grin* and he offered to take a picture of us (my daughter-in-law and i) with the bus... we jumped on that opportunity... but i am assuming that is why the pic is not on this page... cuz i'm in it *ever so shy smile*
ahhhh... finally in!!!! well... in the parking lot anyway... CHIEFS CHIEFS EVERYWHERE!!! so you know i'm in heaven!! even the City Bus was decked out in CHIEFS!!!!
i just had to have a picture of this guy... so i chased him down and tapped him on the shoulder and said "pleeeeeeeeease may i take a picture of you?"... i now wish i had gotten his name so that i could give him mention here... but... i didn't do that... i was just so excited about being at Arrowhead Stadium that i was not thinking at all!!! i was all gahgah about being there that that is all i could think about!!!!
ahhhhh... finally actually IN the stadium... LOOK AT ALL THE RED!!!! whoohoooo!! i am flyin' now... felt as if i were gonna EXPLODE!!!! and our seats were on the very bottom... we were sooo close to all of our favorite players... ohhhh my!!!! being there was better than sex *teasin grin*
i just love Wolfie!! but i will never eVeR EVER admit that i do the belly shakin' thang with Wolfie after every touchdown... (or that during the away games, i'm solo)...
during halftime a couple of paratroopers landed in the middle of the field...
i am ready to go back... how deliriously happy i would be if i were a season ticket holder... *dreamy lil sigh*
thus ends my first trip to Arrowhead Stadium...
first trip... but not the last *spoiled brat grin*
