"This may certify to Honorable Court of Probate for the District of Hartford that Lemuel Fuller, of Wethersfield, about 17 years of age and Ambrose Fuller of Wethersfield about 14 years of age, monors sons of John Fuller late of Wethersfield, deceased, personnally appeared before me, the subscriber and made choise of their brother-in-law, Samuel Landers of Wethersfield to be their guardian. Date: March 10, 1769/1770."

Colonel Huntington's 17th Regiment, Captain Ebenezer Fitch Bissells Company. New York, May 15, 1776 lists: Abner Fuller, Lemuel Fuller, Benjamin Fuller, Samuel Landers.

On the Revolutionary War Rolls is Samuel Landers, enlisted as Pvt. in Capt. Henry Champion's Company, third Reg't. Conn. Lines on April 21, 1777. This Regiment was raised among the men around Hartford, Conn. The two younger brothers of Sarah Fuller Williams Landers, Lemuel and Abner Fuller were also listed in this Regiment with Samuel.

On Aug 21, 1777, Samuel Landers re-enlisted as a wagoner, serving 8 months.
