Robert D. Frederick, 69, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2006.  Born in Plainview, Texas, April 21, 1937, to Dalton and Opal Frederick. Bob graduated from high school in Cushing, Oklahoma and from the School of Engineering, University of Oklahoma.  He is survived by his wife, Judy, of 41 years and his three sons: Darby of St. Louis, MO; Clay of Manhattan, KS; Bryan of Modesto, CA; and   nine grandchildren.

Bob was extremely interested in genealogy in his retirement years and traveled throughout the U.S. in search of family tree members.  His dedication and persistence in genealogy inspired and helped many others find past and current relatives.

Bob was also interested in old cars from the 1930s, 1940s, 1950, and 1960's and enjoyed collecting miniature models.  His enthusiasm was not just limited to the small scale, but he also restored vintage cars with his sons, including two classic 1965 Mustangs.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in the future.
