Howard was a member of the CHS Alumni Assn. and the USS Goldsborough Assn., one of the ships on which he served while in the Navy.

An  avid woodworker Howard loved to make items and give them to family and friends and also he volunteered several days a week at Habitat for Humanity helping build new homes.

Some of his favorite foods were baby back ribs and spaghetti, and he so enjoyed his 2000 visit to Cushing for the alumni reunion.  He was a very good person who really got a lot from helping others.

~We will all miss him greatly.~
