Why do you ask these questions
Which cannot be answered
The use of only words which command
Thee to speak out among the people and question
Why they are
Do not ask what cannot be answered
For if you do the answer which you denied
And spoke in soft whispered voices behind
The curtains and in your tiny little groups
Will become and they will whisper in your
ear for and eternity and a half
but when you push them away trying
thinking maybe they are just dreams things which
want to become real but aren’t then the answers
will overwhelm your most great efforts and powers
and will continue to whisper and haunt
you forever and the spoken words will
resonate in your head over and over and over
until finally the pain cannot be taken
anymore and your mind collapses in on itself
and that strange twist of fate which
lurks in the hidden shadows and corners
will emerge you cannot stop the deafening
silence of the words swirling around
so you collapse and scream for
mercy but mercy does not hear and the answer
has triumphed.
