1. Wisdom is a great treasure. It gains value as you use it, and the government cannot tax it.

2. We are all carnal, even if we will not admit it.

3. Truth is like medicine. Its taste does not determine its necessity.

4. Focusing on differences promotes division. Focusing on similarities promotes unity.

5. One does not change the rules when one is winning.

6. Heaven is no person's birthright.

7. There is no freedom of religion where there is no separation of Church and State.

8. Carnal people reject a messiah who does not glorify them.

9. Carnal people reject truth when truth requires change.

10. It is foolish to base a decision on a feeling that can be eliminated with an antacid.

11. One is not required to accept another person's behavior in order to treat that person humanely.

12. Carnal people do not want to follow the standard. They want to be the standard.

13. To carnal people, being comfortable is more important than being right.

17. A person without a moral compass cannot judge right from wrong.

72. The carnal person thinks, “What I believe has to be correct because I am the one who believes it.”

73. Carnal people support the rule of law only as long as the rule of law supports them.

74. Religious leaders are not immune from the influence of the flesh.

75. Zeal is not a substitute for compassion.

76. The carnal person seeks to acquire maximum wealth with minimum effort.

77. Theological accuracy is not on the Apostle Paul's list of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

78. The carnal person seeks to acquire maximum control with minimum responsibility.

79. When government grows, liberty shrinks.

80. Sometimes our problem is that we agree on what destination to reach but disagree on what route to take.

81. Some problems can only be cured with a change of heart. The government cannot change hearts.

82. Carnal people define themselves as being good.

83. Carnal people have 20/20 vision when it comes to looking at the sins of others, but they are blind when it comes to looking at their own sins.

84. Carnal people rank sins so that their own sins are ranked last.

85. Being open-minded means that one is open to new data. It does not mean that one has not formulated an opinion based on data already received.

86. Carnal people will accept a lie if it tickles their ears.

87. Truth is not determined by a majority vote.

88. Truth is not determined by one's rank.

89. The word charismatic is not a synonym for the word orthodox.

90. The word fundamentalist is not a synonym for the word orthodox.

91. Once the masses believe a falsehood, it is nigh impossible to get them to accept the truth.

92. The correctness of a person's ideas is not determined by that person's political affiliation.

93. One can have zeal but not truth.

94. It is a violation of the rules of science to require a scientific theory to pass a religious litmus test.

95. People with doctorates are not always right.

96. Carnal people do not like to get drunk alone because they do not want to be the only ones acting like fools.

97. Attractiveness is on the outside. Beauty is on the inside.

98. The only people capable of correctly interpreting the Bible all the time are the people who are already in Heaven.

99. There is a solution to poverty, and you can be a part of that solution.
