Journey of a Spiritual Pilgrim

On this road I am traveling upon,

Heading for places unknown,

Encountering Life’s mysteries one by one,

Reaping the seeds I have sown.

Passing through jungles and desert sands,

Overcoming many stone walls,

The path of my journey trails across lands

As I follow the voice that calls.

Wading through waters and scaling mountain peak,

Stepping across each narrow ledge,

Uphill I climb to the One that I seek,

Fighting to gain a leading edge.

The narrow road is the path I take.

Never do I aimlessly roam.

I make my journey for my Savior’s sake,

For this road is leading me home.
