Roberto Duran - Panamanian boxer
"Manos de Piedras"

Born: June 16, 1951
Place: Panama City, Republic of Panama

Career Record: 104 Wins, 15 Loss, 69 Knockouts

One of only 4 fighters to hold 4 different world titles— lightweight (1972-79), welterweight (1980), junior middleweight (1983) and middleweight (1989-90); lost famous “No Mas” welterweight title bout when he quit in 8th round against Sugar Ray Leonard (1980); finally retired in 2002 at the age of 50 with a record of 104-15 (69 KOs).

Roberto Duran pound for pound was one of the greatest fighters in the world. His record of 69 KO's out of 104 fights he won in my book is quite an accomplishment! That means that out of all his winning bouts, Roberto Duran, won 66 percent by knock out! That is why all of his fans referred to him as "Mano de Piedra" Duran. He has retired but his legend lives on...
