Isaac had done everything in his power to persuade Zac to go to Hallie's house and meet Chrissy. He even promised Zac he'd buy him any video game that he wanted. Zac wasn't in one of his best moods, though. He couldn't help it, Tay still wasn't talking to him. Being completely reluctant about the entire thing, Zac still went. He thought if he got out of the house, that maybe his older brother, Taylor would finally calm down. And who knows? Maybe this girl, Chrissy won't turn out to be so bad after all.

"I still can't believe you are making me do this," complained Zac, with his arms folding across his chest.
Isaac and Zac were in the van, on thier way toward Hallie's and Chrissy's house.
"Oh, don't act so stubborn!" Ike said. "Chrissy's nice...plus, she's really hot!"
Zac only rolled his eyes, "Whatever you say..."
As the van came to a red light, Zac looked at his older brother, "What does...um...Chrissy look like?"
Isaac smiled, seeing his younger brother's sudden interest in Chrissy, finally coming forth, "Well, she's your age. Chrissy had long blond hair. Her hair is like five or six inches past her shoulders, I think. She's about your height, too. Somewhere inbetween 5"3 and 5"5."
Isaac paused a moment to check the traffic light. Luckily, it was still red.
"Oh! Chrissy has the most gorgeous eyes you will ever see, also! Her eyes are so...so...mysterious. They are dark, dark brown. You can barely see her pupils!" Isaac ejaculated.
Zac turned away from Isaac, trying to hide his smile. Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as he thought it would be. Maybe, possibly, he would actually have fun with this girl.
Finally, after a long wait, the light flashed green, signalling everyone to put their foot on the gas and...go!
Zac pulled down his mirrow and looked at himself, checking his reflection. After a semi-thorough inspection, he put the mirrow back up, asking, "How much long till we get there?"
Ike glanced at his brother, saying, "About 15 minutes. Can you wait that long?"
Zac sat back in his seat, sighing. He mumbled nonaudibly under his breath, "No..."

Hallie led the two Hanson brothers into the house. Her house was unbelievable. It wasn't anything like Zac imagined it would be. He pictured a house somewhat like his own, only a bit smaller. Instead, he found himself standing inide of a two-story house with eleven bedrooms and six bathrooms. A mansion! Where was Chrissy, though?
"Wow! It's nothing like I imagined!" thought little Zachary Hanson.
"Do you guys want something to drink?" Hallie politely asked the boys.
"Sure," Isaac was the first to answer. "I'll share a drink with you."
"Zac?" Hallie looked at the younger Hanson.
"Nah, that's alright. Thanks, anyway," answered Zac. He didn't want anything to drink. He just wanted to meet Hallie's little sister, Chrissy, who was lost inside this gigantic house.
Hallie smiled, "Okay, suite yourself. You can go up to Chrissy's room. She's waiting for you."
"Um," he said, a little confused, "which room would that be? You said you had eleven rooms in your house."
She laughed, "Oh! Sorry! It's the first room on your right!"
Snickering, Isaac cut in, "Just don't do anything in her room that I wouldn't advise!"
Zac blushed, "Don't worry, about that, Isaac." Then, he headed up the stairs.
After clumping up the flight of stairs, he yelled down, "I think that it's you we have to worry about!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chrissy's door creaked open slowly as she asked, "Who is it?"
When the door was fully widened, Zac replied, "Room service!"
To her amazement, there he was. Zachary Walker Hanson was standing in front of her bedroom door. She thought that Hallie had been joking when she said that he was coming over.
"Oh...my...G..."
She was interrupted by Zac's hand, which he had slipped over her lips.
"Please don't scream," he whispered. "My ears still hurt from this summer's tour." He uncovered her mouth, carefully.
She flushed with embarrassment, "Sorry."
"It's okay," he assured her. "Can I come in?"
"Oh! Yeah," she stepped out of his way so he could come him in her room. "Anyway, how do you know my sister?"
Zac shook his head, "Oh, do I really have to explain that story. My brothers are really complicated."
"You know her through Tay and Ike?" she inquired.
"Yep."
Chrissy shut the door behind him. She was still in awe that he was even there. Chrissy in her heart, knew that as soon as Zac left, she would run downstairs to her sister and thank her immediately.
"So, what do ya want to do?" Zac left it up to her, as he sat on her bed.
Chrissy sat next to him, inching a bit closer, "Well, we could watch TV, or play video games, or..."
She didn't have to say anymore, "What kind of system do you have?" interrupted Zac, eagerly.
"Playstation, and a N64," she informed him, smiling. Chrissy, as a Hanson fan, knew that Zac absolutely loved video games.
"Hey, this isn't turnin' out to be so awful," Zac said to himself. "I got a beautiful girl here, and she's got a Nintendo 64 and a Playstation! I've hit it on the money!"
"I'll play you on Playstation...to the death!" Zac announced.
"Alright, fine with me, Zac," Chrissy agreed, laughing. "Which game do you wanna play? Your choice."
"Whatever's in the 'station now is alright with me," Zac shrugged. "I'll figure it out."
Chrissy smiled, slyly, "Okay, it's my favorite game, too."
"Cool, let's play," Zac picked up the controller.
Chrissy flicked on the Playstation.

Meanwhile, back at home, Taylor was bored out of his mind. Zac and Ike were at Hallie's, Jessica and Avery were at a birthday party, Mr. Hanson was at work, and Mrs. Hanson had taken Mackie and Zor for a check-up at the doctor's office.
"Man," Tay sighed, kicking he pavement, "I'm so bored!" He walked down his driveway, the sun glaring down at him, nearly blinded him.
Tay was thinking about what was happening between his brother, Zac and him. His mind couldn't grasp the concept of his little brother choosing only one of his two older brothers, as a best friend. It just didn't make any sense to him. I mean, this was his little brother who always knew how to make him laugh when he was down, who could put a collaboration of music together better than any artist he knew, the younger brother who could use his charm to get his way or to plan the perfect crime. Could it really be Zac he was mad at here?
As Taylor reached the end of his driveway, Zac's words echoed in his ears.
"We're best friends...only bester," he said.
Tay sat down on the freshly cut grass on his lawn, as he sighed. He remembered when Zac said that in an interview. It was one of those hectic, yet exhiliarating days. Taylor drifted off into daydreaming, the day reoccured in his mind.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a warm, sunny day in New York. Taylor and his two brothers were waiting in a conference room to meet with an interviewer from BOP, a teenage magazine.
Their parents and their younger siblings were all sitting in the van, waiting for the interview to cease.
"Hey, guys," a young woman greeted the brothers, as she clicked the door shut behind her.
"Hey," the three Hanson brothers replied, in unison.
She sat down in a chair across from them. She flipped through her papers, searching for the start of the interview, then she looked up.
"Alright," she smiled, setting her papers down, "let's get started." She clicked on a tape recorder to record the interview with Hanson.
"How long have you been a band?" she inquired.
Ike spoke up, "Seven years, this year."
She smiled, "Wow! How did you decide who played what instrument?"
Taylor took his turn in speaking, "It was very spontaneous. I took the keyboards, and Ike decided he wanted to try something new, and went for the guitar. Zac was just sort of..stuck with the drums. In a way, it was kind of 'every man for his own'."
After that, she continued with question after question. Asking from how their first gig went, to their favorite colors.
"Do you guys get along?" she asked, looking toward Zac. "Or do you fight a lot?"
Zac's eyes glistened, as he spoke, "We're best friends...only bester!" As he prouldy told the interviewer, he put his arm around Taylor.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tay finally came out of his daydream of that wonderful day.
"He put his arm around my shoulder," Taylor thought. "On my shoulder."
His heart was softening, and he was realizing, he was angry at his own brother, his own flesh and blood...for no reason at all, really.
He looked across the street, squinting into the sky, thinking, "I wonder when Zac's going to be home. I need to talk to him about everything has happened between us in the past couple of days. I really gotta apologize."
Then, Taylor got up and started walking toward the house, looked back at the street again, then opened the door and went inside.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Man!" Zac exclaimed, frustrated and disappointed. Chrissy had beaten him four times in a row.
"I told you, Zac," Chrissy snickered. "I'm the master at this game."
With a goofy smile on his face, Zac shrugged, "I guess I need a little more practice, huh?"
"Try...a lot more," she giggled. "Do you wanna play again? Or are you sick of me beating you?"
"Let's do something else. What else is there to do around here?" Zac asked, looking around.
Chrissy sat on her bed next to Zac. She was still a little nervous to be around him, though. she always told her friends that if she ever met Zac Hanson, that she could act normal around him because she knew he was a normal person, just like her. The only hard part? She had to prove it.
"Well," Chrissy started, "we could just talk and try to get to know each other a little better..."
Zac gave her a weird look. "What?!?" he thought to himself.
"...Or maybe not," she finished, nervously. She couldn't think straight. The fact that Zac was sitting so close to her made her heart skip a beat. Chrissy could almost feel him breathing...or maybe that was her imagination.
The silence between the two of them was deafening. Neither of them knew what to say or do. What move should be made next?
Zac finally broke the two whole minutes of silence with, "So, what do you do for fun?" The tension was released from his body, after finally saying something.
Smiling brightly, Chrissy told him, "I play sports, listen to music, just hang around the house...ya know, the usual."
"What sports do you play?" Zac inquired.
"I play soccer and softball," Chrissy replied. "What do you do in your spare time? The little of it that you have?"
Laughing, Zac said, "Sleep, sleep, and well...sleep! The promotion, media, and photo shoots are exhausting!" Zac lied back on her bed.
Chrissy reached down and pulled Zac back up, "I'd do the same if I were you."
Zac snickered, "Wouldn't everyone, Chrissy?"
Chrissy smiled, "True, very true, Zaccie."
"What else? What else?" Zac whispered to himself, as he searched for questions to ask. "Oh! What are your favorite bands?" He smiled slightly to himself.
"Well, you guys, of course, duh! I also like Blink 182, Aerosmith, *N Sync, and all that other good stuff," she flushed when she mentioned Hanson.
Their conversation was soon interrupted by Halie's voice, screaming, "Chrissy! Zac! Get down here!"
Zac and Chrissy both stood up at the udentical time.
"I'll race you," Zac challenged her, smiling.
"Okay," Chrissy agreed. She'd never turn down a challenge, especially one from Zac Hanson. "One...two...three...GO!"
At the sound of "GO!", footsteps raced at the pace of a stampede. Hilarious laughter was heard as they clumped down the stairs.
"Beat ya!" Zac celebrated as they reached the ground floor.
Ike cut Zac's celebration short, "I'm glad you two get along so well, but we gotta go."
Both Zac and Chrissy looked disappointed. "Aww, man!" they both whined, in unison.
Zac turned to Chrissy, "I guess I'll see you later, okay?"
"Sure, call me."
"I will, I promise," Zac said. "If I forget, Ike will remind me."
"Alright," Chrissy said flatly, yet smiling. "Catcha later!"
"Bye!" Ike put the last word in toward Hallie, as he shut the door, and they headed toward home.
Zac had made a new friend from Chrissy. The visit wasn't as bad as he thought It would be. He thought there'd be some crazed, screaming lunatic girl or something. But, she treated him normal, like Zac Hanson...and no more.
"Maybe," Zac thought, "Chrissy and I could do something, sometime, soon."
