DAWN OF THE DEAD

  • Directed By, George A. Romero
  • Written by, George A. Romero
  • Produced by, John A. Russo The story begins with a continuation of the theme from "Night of the Living Dead", the dead have arisen and are now stalking the living. Four strangers, fleeing in a helicopter, head north looking to escape this horror. Running low on fuel they happen on one of America's social enigmas....the shopping mall. This is where you would find me during a zombie invasion. I'd be in either the Suncoast Video or at Lowes Theature. One problem, zombies seem to like the mall too. After cleaning out the deadbeat shoppers in their new home, our heroes are about to begin to live the life of luxury, right .....WRONG. Unfortunately someone else has their eyes on this prize....a gang of looters lead by bad boy Tom Savini. The end scenes of Dawn of the Dead are some of the coolest zombie action I've ever seen. I heard Tom Savini did his own stunts in Dawn and when he fell off the second floor rail he broke his arm.....that's pretty cool. This movie is a the best horror movie ever made. It should stand as number 1 on everyone's scary movie list. When I saw this film I was about ten and it made me shit my pants. Now I watch it and have to say that Romero's movies are the only movies that can scare me. RENT/BUY this film. It is a slobberknocker!
