All Alone

Outside the wind sings our song, while alone I hum the tune.
Wishing I were with my love, underneath the stars and moon
Dancing in the sunshine, instead of drowning in the rain
Liquid sorrow in my eyes, my satin pillow stained
A candle won't burn forever, soon the darkness prevails
Then I will be all alone, in my eternal hell

LOVE

Love? Is it true my heart asks quickly?
Skipping beats to catch the thoughts racing
though my brain
Searching, tossing, chest-heaving swelling
Through the tides of emotion like a vessel
lost in the sea?
Or am I just a woman mere in love...
Suffering difficulty to breathe
What insanity is this?
That would bring me to my knees
Nothing...nothing short of love

in the following poem

A Reinvestment

Watching intently,
days pass with unnoticed change.
But yearly,
as physical beauty fades with age,
I see more clearly....
Time enhances the wonderous splendor of the world around me.
I see age, as no enemy of mine.
Youthfulness of body was not mine to keep,
but to invest.
An investment which needed to be turned over.
Ephemreal.
Reinvested, within.
No.
Age is not, an enemy of mine.
It is a well of beauty.
The outer, turned in.

Let us join her graceful prayer

Dear God!

Please grant me the strength to carry on,
and the patience to try again when things go wrong.
Shine your guiding light on me
to open my eyes when I can't see.
Please give me the ability
to see beauty, where others see none.
Allow me the hope of a new dream
waiting to be dreamed, the chance to reach out
and the wisdom to look forward to a new tomorrow.
Let me accept what I cannot change,
and change all that's within my control.
Teach me your ways as I walk through life,
so I may learn and live it right.
If granted these prayers,
I promise to obey, and cherish your creations
& all that come my way. Amen.
Faithfully yours,
A Devoted Follower
