Glory to God

Sickening, dry and dreary air
Soil was thirsty, barren and bare
It was scorching, sizzling hot
Coolness all and sundry sought
Blazing heat was hard to beat
Silence spread in every street
Ripe with cough ailed every throat
For aches was no antidote
Wells and tanks almost empty
Everyone begged for mercy
Cried for water plants and trees
Humans, animals, birds and bees

Firing sun waned by and by
Clouds rushed flying in the sky
Clouds of different hues and shades
Racing along with stormy maids
They are nature's sweet envoys
Prone to bring plenty of joys
They have to follow the rules
Can't go astray from schedules
High, gale-force winds are their mates
Lightning, thunder are their tools

People's prayers God entertains
Only by His grace it rains
Clouds are showering like great kings
Raindrops are like golden rings
Awesome grievances are no more
With open arms Mirth opens her door
Cute smiles emerge on every face
With raindrops all love to embrace
Children are dancing in cool breeze
So charming weather wish to seize
How fresh and lively every thing!
How excited the people sing!

Replenishing the reservoirs once again
Who is uprooting all their bane?
Now soil is again rich and fertile
The surroundings look nice and wothwhile
No dearh of air, water and foods
Enriched life puts on varied moods
Whose wisdom and care retaines life?
For millions of years has sustained life?
It's one of the signs of His greatness
The planet we live in is not mess

Glory to the Omniscient in the highest
For His scheme of things doing all the best
The cosmos works at His behest
