Hatred

Before I delve into this topic, if you have chosen to come this far into my page to read some of my views, thank you for taking the time.

Okay people, here we go. People hate for many different reasons. Maybe someone did something wrong to you. Or maybe because of their personal views, or their immorality. Whatever the reasons may be, hatred is wrong in God's eyes.

Taken from the Old Testiment, (Leviticus 19:18) God told the Isrealites "...Love thy neighbor as thyself." Now, I know that I am far from perfect. I too have hated in my life, and sometimes still struggle when it comes to my emotions. It is becasue of this, that we all need to work on the way we view other people. Regardless of what they have done to us, we need to be the better people and help share the love that God has for us. Afterall, if He can still love us after everything we have done to Him, then the least we can do is love people that have done only a fraction of the damage to us.

The main form of hate I would like to talk about to day are the "isms". Yes folks...Racisim, sexism, any form of hate that has to do with someone being the superior force, and someone being an inferior force.

If you upset easily, this might be the time you need to leave this page.

To the Racists out there. I don't care if you're white supremicist, or whatever...give it up! My main problem with organizations such as the KKK and others, is that they like to shout out Christianic beliefs and ideas, but when it omes down to it, they're hypocrits. First of all, Christianity is NOT a white religion. How could it be, when Jesus was not white??? People, the man was dark skinned. Get over it. He lived in a land where there are people of either very dark brown skin (which we typically associate with Native Americans) to very dark skin (which we typically associate with African Americans). Now, according to genetics. When a person's mommy and daddy are one race, and they have a child, then that baby will be the same color. The only instance where this is not true, is in the case of albinoism, in which case, our depictions of Christ would still be wrong becasue He would need to have white hair.

Because of this knowledge, we cannot sit here and claim that Christianity is a white only faith, when the founder and basis for our faith was not white. Also, who gives you (beleivers of the previous statement about supremousy)the right to torment, hurt, or show hatred towards someone? You didn't die for anyone's sin.

Speaking about diing for sin, what in the world is up with the burning of a cross?? Please let me know. The cross is a time honored symbol of Christianity, and the price that Christ paid for us. What would posses you to destroy such a sacred symbol? I ran across a site that tried to explain this phenomena. If you can call it that. It claimed that the cross is burned to represent the light of Christ. The flames represent the love that was being shed by Christ, and that the light shed from the flames represents, His love spilling out over the land.

Then why was it being burned when the KKK were tormenting blacks so long ago? hmm??? Back in the day, when the Klan went to a black person's house to torment them, the first thing that heppened, was that cross was lit up. There are two things I want to know: 1)If the burning of the cross is suppose to be represented as love, then why was it used during a time of fear and hate? and 2) if Christianity, is a "white religion" then why would you want to show God's love and mercy to people who aren't allowed to be a part of it? Why waste your time and energy showing people the greatness of your faith, if by your laws and word, they aren't allowed to participate in it??

I am not knowing.
