Indra Bhahara

Indra Bahara came to Shashamansse from no-one knows where, fleeing no-one knows what. However, he has a reputation for being willing to kill anyone at a nod from the Fon, so people have not been known to pry into his past. The only thing that is known for sure about Indra Bhahara is that he drinks like a fish. Unfortunately, alcohol does not make him merry or slothful - merely morose and savage.

Before he washed up in Shashamansse, Indra Bhahara was the son of a Kvarch-nari mercenary and a prostitute in far-off Lacaramar. He grew up on the streets and fell under the sway of Lyros, a silver-tongued priestess of Thannyra, who made a living off the purses of those foolish enough to follow her back to the tenement that served as her home and shrine. He somehow survived her clutches and became first an initiate of the cult and then an assassin in his own right, luring victims to the cult's shrine for sacrifice. Eventually, he became the cult's chief executioner. During this period, he saw something that altered his personality - something he refuses to talk about - and he fled Lacaramar. He ended up in Shashamansse where he became the Fon's executioner and is busily trying to drink himself to death. In the meantime, the arts of death he learnt in the temple have stood him in good stead. His favoured tactic in battle is to single out a foe, fence with them (ie use his forcewall defence), and then after they have spent their attack, put all his levels into OCV and neatly lop their heads off.

Indra Bhahara is half Kvarch-nari and half Martic, with coffee-coloured skin. He is tall, with stringy, powerful muscles and long arms. His eyes are deep-set and dark, and he shaves both his face and his head. His face is thin and sour-looking. He dresses in sombre colours and always wears a snakeskin belt. His movements are slow and careful.
