The members of the PURRR (Philanthropic Union for the Rescue, Relief, and Recuperation of Cats) committee are being killed one by one. The Avengers uncover a scheme to take over the world.
Notes: A very clever and witty episode. Many quotes from this episode will be posted on my Quotes page at a later date. Steed enlists his (fictious) cat, Emma, into PURRR, while Emma looks for her missing tom cat, John. PURRR is run by Mr. Cheshire, Dr. Manx, and his assistant, Angora.
Teaser: Emma's redecorating and removing her wallpaper. Underneath the paper is her name, Steed removes paper across the room to finish the legend.
Tag: Back at Emma's place, they discuss the day's events while painting. Steed paints a cat, and then a heart with his initials. Before he finishes it, Emma sees him and he covers it up. Too bad he steeps in a tray of paint.
