"Steed finds a mine of information- Emma goes underground."
The sixteenth Duke of Benedict has a ghostly visitor or visitors upon his estate. A mine disaster that occurred five years ago is said to be responsible. Emma is kidnapped and taken underground leaving Steed to find her and the secret.
Notes: There are two groups investigating the ghost: FOG (Friends of Ghosts) and SMOG (Scientific Measurement of Ghosts).
Teaser: Mrs. Peel stops at traffic lights. The yellow reads "Mrs. Peel" and the green reads "We're Needed". She turns around and there's Steed in his Bentley.
Tag: A mechanic is fixing the Bentley. "Just as I thought. There's the trouble.It's a ghost, sir. You've got a ghost in your engine." Steed knows that it's Mrs. Peel and the two have a glass of champers.
