The Avengers made international stars out of actors Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg. Both will always be the Avengers to fans. The tv show, "The Avengers", was one of the many shows that captured our hearts and imaginations. Where else could you see women throwing men around while looking super glam and fab? In the 1965-66 season, our heros departed in fun and interesting ways of transportation. In the 1967 season, the Avengers had amusing "teasers" in the beginning that also were clever and fun. They fought numerous diabolical masterminds, mad scientists,and just plain nasty baddies looking for trouble! The Avengers managed to save the world (England) from impending disaster and always managed to have fun.
