Although our stay with you was oh so brief
We hope our little message can give you some relief.
We know it’s so hard to understand, just why we were
taken away
But never forget our God has promised to make it known someday.
So that you will always know, we felt it from the start
The love you have for us is forever in our hearts.
We felt it from the beginning and all those nine months long
And for our years on earth, you gave our lives a beautiful song.
It’s not a song of musical notes, or words that always rhyme
But a song of a mother’s love that will last til’ the end of time.
For we can still sense your soft sweet voice, and many warm embraces
We will always feel your tender hands as they caressed our tiny faces.
Your song was pure harmony, a concert of all possible love
And through your love we’ll be united with our Lord above.
So please, our precious Mommy, try not to be sad
But comfort yourself with this most beautiful song, our love that we have.
If ever a choice was given again to pick whom we’d want for our mother
Without any pause or hesitation, we would pick you above any other.
I hope these loving thoughts to you can help you understand
That you, our loving Mommy, have made us the happiest of little men.
So rest assured we’re waiting Mommy for that most wonderful day
When you join us in heaven and we’ll have all eternity to play.
