Daughter of Abraham Friend & Elizabeth Howard.

In 1773 near Saltville Va. a group of Indians attacked a group
of teenagers while camped and killed all but Isaac (John's Brother),
and a negro slave. An older brother John was last seen running
from the site and never seen again. As was the custom the next
male child born was this JOHN named after JOHN presumed dead.
