William Came to what is now the Lee County Ky area with
his family in about 1833, moved to Estill County Ky in 1848,
and to Galena Kansas in 1880 with his brother Abraham to
work in the mines in that area, he died soon after arriving.
He left his 2 sons with his sister Mary Wynn Crabtree shown
on the the 1880 Lee Co. census.

William served in the Union ? Army during the Civil War.
