Oil- 18x24 - Owned by: Lane Johnston- Houston,Tx Scene depicts Lanes's Father, Lt. Robert H. Johnston flying a Jenny in flight school 1923. Lane is a good friend and owns a beautiful Cessna 182 based at Wharton , Texas. He is the younger brother of Robert Johnston.
18x24 oil. Owned by Doctor Robert H. Johnston Jr. of Victoria,Tx. Dr. Johnston was the flight surgeon who gave me my enlistment physical for the Tex. Air Guard in 1976. This painting shows him piloting the T-33-A out of Ellington and following his Fathers footsteps. Dr. Johnston is the oldest son of Lt. Robert H. Johnston, one of Wharton Counties earliest aviation pioneers.
