I'm back! But in a Pokemon story this time. This story is about Silvey Ketchum and Tony Oak, travelling around on there Pokemon journey and finding something else besides Pokemon. *Love!* Hey, I'm a hopeless romantic! Disclaimers: Pokemon doesn't belong to me. Only Silvey, Tony, Team Dynomite, and Professor Birch do. No stealing. Rating: G It's Pokemon! ^_~ TRAVELLING EMOTIONS. By Silver V Part 1- Prepare for a blast!! Cerulean City "And now, a little Ricky Martin for you with Livin La Vida Loca." "Wah?" Silvey rolled over and looked at the clock on the radio, which had just woken her up.With a sigh she rolled out of bed and landed on her Clefairy. "Clefaaaiiiirrrrryyyyyy!!!!" "Oh I'm sorry, Fairy!" Silvey hugged her Clefairy, but mid-hug remembered something and dropped the poor Clefairy. "Fairy!" "Yay! Today's Monday, the year 2000! The year I start on my Pokemon journey! I don't have to go to school!" Silvey started dancing around her room with Clefairy. "I'm going on my pokemon journey! I'm going on my pokemon journey!" "You won't be going on any journey if you don't hurry up!" Silvey's mom, Misty, called up the stairs. "Darn it!" Silvey grabbed her towel again and raced into the bathroom, showering in record time. She dried herself and rooted around her messy floor tell she found her favorite outfit. Short, dark, jeanshorts (SV- NOT cutoffs. Shudder.) and a white tank top, with a black little fuzzy sweater over it. The sweater didn't have a zipper or anything to close it with, and on the tank top there was a little cartoon that looked like Silvey, hugging a Clefairy with a little star by it's ear. Silvey's Clefairy. Silvey had won that shirt in a contest that the prize was a shirt of your choice with a cartoon you and your pokemon printed on your shirt. Silvey looked in the mirror, and was shocked by what she saw. The shirt was getting too small! It was tight, and you could now see her bellybutton. Silvey grabbed her bag, and stuffed in other favorite clothes, her wallet, which was full since her Grandparents had just left last night, a picture of her family, and a little clear bag that had her make-up, although she hardly ever wears make-up, her brush, body mist, shampoo & conditioner and other very important thing like that. (SV- and I say that with absolutely no sarcasm in my voice.) Her bag was one of those ones that have one strap that goes over your shoulder, and rest's on your hip and fits school books just perfectly. It was a dark, forest green and the flap that went over the bag had white star's all over it. Silvey brushed her hair into two braids that fell to in-between her shoulder and elbow and secured them with white and green elastics. She then threw on her bag and ran downstairs, calling for her Clefairy to follow. "Well, I see you finally made it down. And you didn't bring half as much as the female population would usually bring." Silvey's dad, Ash, had a mock surprised look on his face. Silvey stuck out her tongue. "Very funny dad. I couldn't bring half as much stuff as I would have liked to or I wouldn't be able to walk around without breaking my back!" Ash smiled. "Well dear, I'm making you pancakes and toast! Sit down and eat before you go off on your adventure. You'll need your energy." Misty was at the stove flipping pancakes and buttering toast at the same time. Silvey didn't know how she did it. "But mom, I can't eat. I'm too excited!" "Sit down and eat," Misty replied and set the pancakes and toast in front of her. Silvey picked up her fork and forced down some food. "Now Silver." "We know that Professor Birch will talk to you and teach you what to expect, and he'll do a fine job of it I'm sure, but there's nothing like hearing it from a person who went on the journey first hand." "Two people who went on the journey, dear." Misty looked at Ash with raised eye-brows. "Right. Two first hand experiences. Now when I was first going on my adventure, I didn't think it would be that hard. What's so hard about telling a pokemon what attack to use? And then winning the battle? Well, it's a lot harder then I thought. You have to earn the respect and trust of your pokemon, before they'll listen to you. You also have to have your ability and experience level high enough for the pokemon. I remember I had a Charizard that wouldn't listen to me because I wasn't experienced enough for it. Even the Charmeleon wouldn't listen to me. The only way it evolved was because it got mad at an Aerodactyl and wanted to beat it. So it evolved to get wings and fly." "An Aerodactyl!? I thought they were extinct!" "Clefairy!" "Well we did too, before that happened, but that's another story and beside the point." Ash heard a snort and looked at Misty whose face was red from trying not to laugh. "What!?" At that Misty lost it and broke out into uncontrollable laughing. "I'm sorry!" she gasped, "It's just that it was so funny when you tried to get it to attack and it fell asleep!" Misty had another laughing attack. "Clefairy! Fairy, fairy, fairy!” Ash shook his head, even Clefairy was laughing, and turned his attention back to Silvey who was starting to giggle. "Silvey! Listen! You almost have to leave and I'm not finished!" "Sorry dad." "Okay, you have to be careful at all times, because even though Jessie and James retired, there children are probably now Team Rocket. So be on the alert, because they will probably try to steal your pokemon." "Right," said Misty, who had calmed down, "And always take good care of your pokemon. Here's some special food that Brock gave me to give to you. He says he's sorry he had to miss you leaving, but he was called away on a mission to try and save some jungle pokemon or something." "Aww, dang. That's sucks." Brock and Silvey were good friends, from the time when she was born and had laughed at his funny eyes. "Thanks mom." "Fairy." "Oh, and Silvey? Who ever your partner is try to get along with him or her. Okay? Part of being a pokemon trainer and master is getting along with people." Ash looked very serious. "Is that why they pick your partners for you?" "Yes, and also because it's a more dangerous world than it was 25 years ago, so they want you to travel with someone." "That's also why you have to be 15 now instead of 11, right?" "Right," Misty answered, "Now, I think you had better be going. Your going to be late." "Okay. Bye mom. Dad. I love you," she said hugging them. "I love you, Silver." "Love ya, dear." "Clefairy! Fairy, cle!" "Oh sorry Clefairy. Love you too." "Fairy." Misty hugged Clefairy. Silvey looked at her mom and dad, trying to burn there faces in her memory. I mean she would be gone for a year. Misty with her light orange hair floating around her shoulders, and blue eyes. Silvey smiled as she remembered how she had used to wear her hair. Silvey had laughed so hard when she saw her mom's yearbooks. And her dad with his brown eyes and always messy black hair. She gave her parents another hug and ran out the door calling good-bye. "Bye honey! Love ya!" Misty was crying now. Ash hugged her, and whispered. "At least she didn't wreck someone’s bike and have a person tag along with her for her journey." Misty smiled. ^_~ "Yay! This going to be so fun! Oh I know mom and dad tried to make me see the adventure as being a hard, learning experience, but it's so hard! It sounds so fun!" "Clefairy!" Silvey giggled. The Clefairy was walking on the curb trying to stay balanced and it looked so cute. "Oh! There's Professor Birch's! I wonder if he looks any different. I haven’t seen him in a whole 2 year's since he moved to the jungle to study pokemon. I hope he didn't bring that son of his, Tony, back." "Fairy Clefairy!" Silvey walked in the front door of Professor Birch's lab. "Hello? Anyone hear?" "Who is it? Oh! Is that who I think it is? By gum it is! Silver Ketchum! My how you have grown in a couple of year's!" Professor Birch was the only one who called her by her real name, Silver. Everyone else called her Silvey. "You let your hair grow out, and I see you've matured a lot. You even got a little taller! And you're Clefairy is looking pretty well and healthy too." "Clefairy." Clefairy had puffed itself up at the remark. It seemed to say, of course I look good. "Well now, what unusual eyes you have! What color are they!? They seemed to have changed color since I last saw you!" "They're supposed to be brown but they're starting to get a little blue. Mom and dad fight all the time about that. Mom says they are definitely blue and dad thinks they're still brown. Now, can I have my pokemon?" The Professor chuckled. "Hang on Silver. You can get you're pokemon after I tell you a few things." Professor Birch told her virtually the same thing her mom and dad had. "Now. Hear is a map, some pokeballs and Dexter. I trust you know how to use Dexter and the pokeballs?" Silvey nodded. "Okay then, come back hear and I'll introduce you to you're partner and give you your pokemon. "Tony! Is that you!? Since when did you get to be taller than me!?" "Since I grew and you stayed a little Pixie." "You idiot! I'm not a Pixie!" "Really? When you were 7 that's not what you thought!" "Tony! I was 7! How was I supposed to know that human's can't be Pixie's!? Would you forget about that already!" "The name has taken on a new meaning. I'm not referring to the time you were 7. Now I call you that because your shrimpy enough to be a Pixie!" Silvey stiffened. She hated being called a shrimp or anything that refereed to her being really small. She had always wanted to be really tall like models. "Oh just shut-up Tony!" Tony ignored her. "How old do people think you are when they meet you? Eight?" "I hate you! I'm not that small! Professor Birch, can I please meet my partner so I can be rid of this loser?" Professor Birch smiled. He didn't really mind when Silvey insulted Tony. He insulted her back, and he knew they hated each other. Which was why he decided to make them partners. It would be an interesting experience. "Actually Silver, you already met your partner." "No I didn't. I can't remember meeting anyone else before I came hear." Tony caught on faster than Silvey and his face paled. "Dad, you surely couldn't be thinking of making me and Pixie be partners." Now Silvey's face drained of color. "Oh my Gosh! Professor Birch! If you're thinking me and that thing will be partners than you are terribly mistaken! I will not be partners with the slimeball from outer space!" "Dad. You're not thinking clearly. You need a rest." "Tony! Silver! Stop that! I can most certainly thinking clearly and I do not need a rest, thank you very much! You two are going to be partners and that's that! It will be a good challenge for you! Now Silver, come and get you're pokemon and you two can be on your way! Oh, and Silver? Tony's not going to be a trainer, he's going to be a doctor." Silvey looked at Tony. "He's serious. We're going to be partners. This adventure is not going the way I wanted it too." "Believe me Pixie, I don't like this anymore than you do! Now could you please get you're pokemon so we can go?" Silvey sighed, picked up her Pokeball and gave it to Professor Birch. "What is it? And I know it's a pokemon!" she added when Tony opened his mouth. He closed it. "It's an Eevee." "Oh cool! I think Eevee's so cute!" "Here you go Silver. Take good care of it." "I will!" "Say Silvey, do you still have that Clefairy?" Tony asked her. "Yeah I do. Hey, where is Clefairy?" Silvey ran out of the room calling for her Clefairy. "Clefairy! Clefairy! Where are you!?" Silvey was starting to panic. She had that Clefairy ever since she was five. Young Silvey had seen a Clefairy lying on the road with a car coming closer and closer. Silvey ran out on the road, scooped up the Clefairy and would have been fine if she hadn't tripped. The car had run over her ankle and the doctors thought it was a miracle that she was able to walk again, but with a heavy limp. Over the years the limp had faded, but was still definitely there. Her and the Clefairy now have a special bond. Silvey always knew what the Clefairy was trying to tell her. And the Clefairy understood her equally well, and always listened to Silvey. "Where is she! She could be really hurt! Or even dead!" "Silvey! Listen to yourself! Clefairy hasn't been gone that long. She'll be fine." Tony tried to console her. "No she won't! She's in trouble! I can feel it!" "Calm down!" Silvey ignored Tony and ran outside still calling for Clefairy. Silvey ran around the building to the back and stopped short. "Oh no! Clefairy!" Clefairy was being taken away by two people wearing the Team Rocket outfit, except there was a D instead of a R on there shirts. The girl had purple hair tied up in a ponytail (SV- I just couldn't bring myself to make her have Jessie's hair.) and the boy had dark blue shoulder length hair. They had Clefairy tied up and were putting her into a balloon with a Rattata head as the balloon. A....Rattata? was telling the team to move there buts or they'd be caught. A talking Rattata? But the Rattata was standing on it's hind feet instead of on all fours. Even stranger. "What in the world!?" Tony was very surprised, "A talking Rattata!?!" "Shhh! Don't let them find out we're hear!" Too late. The thieves turned toward them. "Yeah. Ain't you ever seen a talking Rattata before?" "Well, no." "Hahahahaha! We're Team Dynomite, children of the famous Team Rocket!" Silvey winced. < I see the girl inherited Jessie's laugh.> "Prepare for a blast!" "And we'll make it fast!" "To protect the world from explosions!" "To ignite all peoples with our motions!" "To blow-up the evils of trust and mirth!" "To extend our blasts to the ends of the earth!" "Rachelle!" "Ryan!" "Team Dynomite blasts off with a bang!" "Join us now or prepare to be hanged!" "Rattata! And that'd be a real shame!" Out of nowhere a huge giant D came to rest behind them. "I've heard of you!" Silvey shouted. "Oh really? Then our fame must be spreading. Hahahahaha!" "My dad told me to stay away from you! That you would try and steal my pokemon! Now give me back my Clefairy!" "No! We're going to have this Clefairy! Unless, you want to trade us for another pokemon?" Rachelle wacked Ryan over the head. "Stupid! We can just steal the other pokemon too!" "Oh right! Then you can't have this Clefairy! Nya-nya-nya-nya-nya!" Sweat drops appeared on Tony and Silvey heads. "Are these guys for real?" "Hard to believe, but they have my Clefairy, and I'm going to get it back! Eevee! Attack!" "Eevee!" "Use Quick Attack and grab my Clefairy!" "Vee!" Eevee ran side to side until Team Dynomite got dizzy from watching it, and then Eevee darted forward and gnawed through the rope, freeing Clefairy. "Clefairy!" "Clefairy! Use Metronome!" "Clefaaaaairy! Clefaaaaairy! Clefaaaaairy!" Team Dynomite was hypnotised by Clefairy's moving arms. "Now Clefairy and Eevee, run for it!" Tony, Silvey, Clefairy and Eevee ran around the building and into the lab. "Ah. I see you found Clefairy. Now you kids should be on your way, ta-ta and have fun! Send me back some pokemon!" "Right! Bye Professor Birch!" "Bye dad!" "See you!" Tony and Silvey walked down the road, out of Cerulean City and onto Vermilion City, to start their great pokemon adventure.
