	Love Is A Complicated Thing

            Chapter 2


            "This is the famous Corla Volcano. It is said to erupt in two more years." Mina
sighed. This was so boring.  She wanted to escape.
	"Who cares!"  she blurted out.  Everyone stared at her, shocked.  When she saw
the look in his eyes, Mina almost felt sorry for Sam.  No, she thought.  He is the most
arrogant man alive!  How can I feel sorry for people like him!?  
	"Well, since you don't exactly like volcano's, any-one want to go for ice-cream?" 
            "Yay! Ice-cream! What are we waiting for guys? Let's go!" Serena ran out of the
car and stood waiting for every-one else to get out. They walked to the ice-cream shop
because the car they were in was one of those cars on a track. When they had finished
there ice-cream Sam said,
	"Okay, I know you guys find it boring having to listen to me," Sam shot a look at
Mina and she blushed, "So I've decided on your trip, I'm going to act like your friend
instead of a guide. Now and then you will get a lecture from me, because that's just me.
Now let's say we go back to the hotel." Sam walked out of the ice-cream shop and
everyone followed. Lita an Mina walked a little behind everyone else.
           	"Hey Mina, " Lita whisrered, "Isn't Sam hot? I could get used to having a friend
like him."
	"Yah, okay, he's hot. But he's the most arrogant, jerk on the planet. I hated him the
first time we met."
     	"Actually Mina, I saw sparks amd stars when you guys met." Mina stared at Lita,
       	"Your serious?" Mina tossed her hair, "You must have just imagined it, becuase
there is no way Sam is my destined lover. Uh uh, no way."
          	"Mina. Remember when Serena and Darien first met? Serena hated him. But Rae
saw fireworks and stars and stuff, so she forced Serena into being nicer to him. Pretty
soon they were in love and married. Best friends see fireworks when there best friend
meets their destined lover. That's just the way things are. And it's never failed before.
Member Greg and Amy? But that time Serena saw the stars."
           	"Lita. This time it's wrong. I hate Sam. Sure Serena hated Darien, but they were
the prince and princess of the past. Duh they were destined lovers!" When Lita opened her
mouth to speak, Mina said, "Lita give it up. We are NOT destined lovers. It's wrong this
time. There has been a time the stars were wrong. In the Moon Kingdom that happened.
You and Nephrite didn't stay together did you?"
           	"Yah, but Mina, we can still meet in the future. I just have to find him. You know
very well when we defeated Queen Beryl the generals turned into ordinary human beings,
and there memory was erased. I just have to find him that's all."
           	"Who cares? Me and Sam are not destined lovers. NOT destined Lovers! Got it?"
And with that Mina strode forward with an air that said the disscusion was closed.
           	"Hey guys? Hurry up!" Serena was shouting at them from the entrance to the
hotel.
            "Coming! Hurry up Lita!" Mina ran into the hotel with Lita right behind her. When
they got into their rooms, Rae knocked on the door and told them to come to the guys
room. When they were all seated in Darien, Greg and Sam's room. (A-Yes, Sam did move
in with them!) Sam said,
            "Okay. I just wanted to tell you that, in a week the hotel is hosting a classy, very
formal ball. I'm guessing that no-one brought clothes like that, so I told you know so you
would have time to buy your clothes. And the stores in hawaii have a sort of deal with the
agency that I work with. If you bring the credit card that I'm going to give you when you
go shopping, the stores will give you a 15% discount." Sam handed out the cards. "And
right now, if you want we can go to the beach.
	"Yay! Let's go guys!" Mina raced out of the room to get her stuff.
            "Mina likes to swim I take it?" Sam said with a raised eyebrow.
            "She's a fish," replied Lita.

  	"They are heading to a beach, this is the perfect time to attack. Dimandin. Go and
attack some person. That will draw the Scouts to you."
            "Yes master." Dimandin bowed, and left to do his bidding.
            "What about us? When will we get to have our revenge?" Emarald was getting
anxious. "And what about that power you promised us?"
            "Patience. It will come to you gradually."
            "But I want it now!" The wise man frowned. He didn't like this one. He was to
talkative. He asked to many questions. Oh well. If he becomes to much of a problem I can
always get rid of him. It will show the others they better do as I wish.

            "I love the beach! Let's go swimming!" Mina found a spot on the beach, and laid
down her stuff. Everyone followed her and settled down. the girls stripped off their
clothes and stood waiting for the guys. Darien whistled. Serena was wearing a pink two
piece with a white bunny on the top half. Lita had on a two piece, the top half was white
and said 'Beach Gal' in black and the bottom half looked like green shorts. Rae was
wearing a red one piece with a yellow happy face sticking out it's tongue on the top half.
Amy had on a blue one piece, but on the sides it was held together by braided strips of
white fabric. Mina was wearing a orange one piece with a gauzy wrap-around skirt, with a
heart print on it. It tied on one side. Sam raised an eyebrow.
         	"You aren't going to swim with that on, are you?"
            "You mean my skirt? No, I take it off to swim. I wear it because it gets guys
attention. Come on Rae, let's go walk to the canteen." Mina winked at Rae.
          	"Sure Mina. Mabye we'll meet some hot guys!"
            "I'll come to," said Lita. The three girls walked off giggling.
            "Come on Ames, I'll race you to the water!" Amy and Serena were off like a shot.
            "Sam are you going to go swimming?" Greg asked.
            "No. I think I'll wait here untill the girls get back."
            "Me too," Darien said. Greg shrugged then ran to the water.
            "Darien, this might sound nosy, but I couldn't help but notice that you and Serena
are in seperate rooms." 
            "Oh yeah. Well Serena had wanted on this vacation to be with her friends. I can
understand that."
            "Oh. So, how long have you been friends with Mina and the others." Darien
grinned inwardly. He recognized that Sam was trying to get information on Mina.
            "Well, I met Serena when I was walking to the arcade and she bounced a test
paper off my head. That was 5 or 6 years ago. Then Serena introduced me to her friends,
Lita, Amy, and Rae. We all met Mina about a year later. She had just moved hear from
England." Darien didn't add the fact that Mina had been Sailor V in England, and had
moved here because she was trying to find the other Sailor Scouts.
  	"Oh, well, do you want to go swimming? I've waited long enough for those girls."
Just then Mina, Lita, and Rae walked up.
            "Okay now I'm ready to go swimming!" Mina shouted. She pulled off her
wrap-around skirt. "Sam! are you ever going to go swimming? Darien? Let's go!"
            "Okay, okay. Geez Mina." Sam rolled his eyes while stripping off his shirt. Mina
couldn't help but notice how hot he looked with out his shirt on. She shook her head.  Mina grabbed Lita and Rae's hands and pulled them to
the water. Sam was starting to follow them when his head started to pound and in his
mind he saw someone being attacked. 
            "Um, Darien?"
            "Ya?"
            "Uh, I have to go to the bathroom." Sam ran off toward the shouting. Darien
raised an eyebrow. He wan't running in the direction of the bathroom's. Then Darien heard
screaming coming from were Sam had ran off. His mouth dropped open, could there be
the nega moon or something in Hawaii too? But it couldn't be the nega moon,  they had
defeated them long ago. Oh, well we better go check it out.
	"Girls! Come on! Get out of the water right now!" The girls came out of the water
and walked toward Darien.
  	"What is it?" Serena looked annoyed while she towel dried her hair. Then she also
heard the screams and her mouth also fell open. "Okay, I get it. Come on gals! We got
work to do! The group ran into some trees so they could transform.
        	"Jupiter Star Power!"
	"Venus Star Power!"
	"Mars Star Power!"
	"Mercury Star Power! 
	"Moon Cyrstal Power!"   (Theme music for when they transform)
	The sailor scouts,Tuxedo Mask and Greg ran toward an opening in the trees which
shouts and flashes of light came from.
     	"Greg hide behind this tree!"
	"I know Amy!" When the steped into the clearing they saw three youma's attacking
a stranger with powers and a couple of people knocked unconcious. The stranger had on a
white suit, (SV-  Not anything like Tuxedo Mask's outfit! I hate that outfit!) but wierdest
of all he had a tiara with a white jewel on it. The scouts didn't have time to  wonder about
that when four more youma's appeared out of nowhere and started to attack them.
 	"Venus Love an Beauty Shock!" The attack flew toward a youma and he sucked
it up and threw it back at her. Venus dodged but just barely. The stranger then shouted at
Venus,
	"Use that attack on the green youma. He won't suck it up!"
	"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!" The youma was badly hurt but not destroyed.
He threw a rope of mini trees at Venus and she was trapped. The stranger then shouted,
	"North Star Blast!" A giant star flew toward the youma and it started to make an
attack but stopped, confused, when the star stopped right in front of him.
	"Ha ha! look's like you can't even attack right!" The stranger just smiled. Then tiny
star's flew out of the big one and the youma screamed while they hit him. The youma
started, dumfounded, when the stars stopped. Everything went still for a moment then the
huge star blasted forward and hit the youma, killing it.	
	"Oh awesome attack!" Sailor Moon shouted.
	"Grrrrrr. You killed a youma and now you have to pay!" Another green youma
shot out a string if leaves toward the stranger. He dodged and the youma threw out some
more leaves. The stranger waan't so lucky this time and got hit by the leaves. He cried out
and fell to the ground. Mina jolted. When he was hit she had been filled with a blinding
rage. 
	"Venus Meteor Shower!" The youma screamed as a bunch of meteorites fell on
it. It staggered upright.
	"You'll pay for that!" Again it used those razor sharp leaves. Venus dodged easily.
	"I'll get you for hitting North Star!" 
	"Venus Love Chain Encircle!" Venus trapped the youma in her chain of hearts.
	"Venus Love and Beuty Shock!" The attack flew toward the trapped youma and
killed it. Venus sank to the ground. She looked around. Sailor Moon was fighting an ice
blue youma and looked like she was winning. Tuxedo Mask and Mars were fighting a red
one that used fire, but the youma looked as if it was winning. Mercury and Jupiter were
surrounded by three youmas and were having a hard time. Sailor Venus stood up and
walked to the guy who she had called North Star.
	"Are you okay?"
	"Yes. I'll be fine. Now I think you should go help your friends, they look like they
need it." Venus nodded.
	"Crescent Beam Smash!" The yellow beam shot toward red youma fighting
Sailor Mars and Tuxedo Mask and hit it in the back. The youma shouted and whirled
around. It shot a blast of fire at Venus. She dodged but she could feel the heat of the fire
as it past her, and her bangs were singed.
	"Mars Flame Sniper!" The firey arrow went right threw the youma. It didn't
affect it at all.
	"Mars! The youma won't be hurt by fire attacks! It's a fire youma!" Sailor Venus
yelled. Sailor Moon came running over panting to help out.
	"I destroyed the other blue youma, and man was it hard!" 
	"Sailor Senshi, we have to work together in order to detroy them! That's the only
way to beat them!" (S-  Tuxedo Mask's corny speech.)
	"We killed three without teamwork." Venus pointed out. Tuxedo Mask waved his
hand in the air. 
	"Doesn't matter. We have to use team work for the other ones." 
	"Would you guys shut-up and come and help us!" Jupiter screamed. Venus and
Mars ran over, leaving Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon to fight the fire guy.
	"Jupiter Oak Evolution!" The string of leaves, or whatever that attack does,
shot toward a youma and injured it.
	"Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!" The youma retaliated by blast a huge gust of wind toward
Jupiter and smashing her into a tree. She slumped to the ground, unconsious.
	"Jupiter! I'm going to get you for that!"
	"Venus Wink Chain Sword!"  That was Venus's most powerful attack, and it
destroyed the youma. (SV- okay, that attack isn't the American one. It's the manga, and I
have no idea if it's her most powerful attack. It just sounds cool.) 
	"That was not smart. Killing a youma is not a good idea." A youma did some
wierd hand thing and a bolt of lightnig came from the sky, hitting Venus. She stumbled,
but stayed upright. 
	"Mercury. Attack now." Venus said. Mercury nodded.
	"Shine Aqua Illusion!"
