His Story
I have had my car since July of 1999. When I first got it I was really happy with it, untill I pressed on the gas. I have a 91' HF, and boy was it slow. So after about 6 months of going slow I got tired of it and installed a JDM Sohc Vtec. That was instant power, I loved it. Then I bought a DC Sports header stainless steel 4-2-1 header, I really liked it. I was able to pull on neumerous cars including the thought to be a fast car, the mustang 5.0 . Pretty soon I was craving more power. So I puchased a used greddy turbo kit from the people who installed my engine. They did a good job so I decided to give the turbo a shot. It took about 2 days of installation to get it done, but when I got my baby back, it was FAST!! Once again I felt the thrill of acceleration and what I had not had in a honda, tourque. If you have the money I highly reccomend a turbo. It was the best purchase I made for my car to date. I ran the 1/4 only once with my best time of a 14.7 @ 92 MPH. I could have done better, but I beleive that the head gasket was leaking, so that was not my best theoretical time. I should be running mid 14's. Oh well, I love my car and all hondas and I plan on purchasing a 2002 Integra Type R, or whatever the new name will be.
