Bulb (non-flowering). Shade to morning sun to mostly shade. 4'-7' Height 1'-1 1/2' Width. Hardy.
Cut off a couple inches from the ground after the first freeze in the fall, cover with 2"-3" of fresh mulch. Leaves may get 2'-3' long and 1'-2' wide. Unusual and fascinating. May be grown in tubs and moved inside during the winter. Average to good soil. Good drainage. Average to moderate moisture. |
