History of the 6YO Pirates Team

The six year old Pirates were established in the fall of 1999 and led by head coach Tony Serowski. In Spring 2000 head coach Janet Serowski took over and welcomed in several new players to the team.

Basic fundamentals and hard work were stressed and the effort paid off with a winning league season of 20-1, tournaments 9-1, and State tournament 4-0 for a combined record of 33-2 while conquering the USSSA State Title 2000!!

In Fall 2000 the Pirates honed their skills against mixed teams and took the league championship title with a record of 14-0, tournament record 9-2, and Fall State tournament 2-0 (which was not finished due to weather) with a combined record of 25-2.

Spring 2001 looks to be another promising season with all original players plus two added to try to acquire the best plays, the best hits, and the best sportsmanship a team can possibly achieve!!
