Volunteer Details and Information
Sometimes, the backbone of any event is the volunteer staff. Several volunteers are required in many aspects to make an event successful.
If you are volunteering for us for the first time, specific tasks will be assigned at the event. If you have volunteered for us at a previous event, you may submit for approval your request for a specific task. The most commonly needed volunteer duties include, but are not limited to:
- Valet: Valets are assigned to be a personal assistant to a visiting VIP.
- Parking Attendent: Many people are needed to direct general parking, provide vehicle security, and park VIP vehicles - valid license and clean MVR required.
- Housekeeping: Certain volunteers will need to ensure that the restrooms are stocked and the garbage cans are not overflowing during the event; Also coordinate with sanitation personnel and port-a-potty representatives. ALL volunteers will sweep-down and empty garbage at the end of the event.
- Setup/strike: All volunteers will be needed to help setup and tear down any decorations and/or equipment, unless otherwise notified by the event coordinator.
- Food Service: Volunteers might be needed to handle food directly or assist caterers. Valid food handler's permit is required.
