As the tea estate tour progressed we came across more spots that were a treat to any tourist. |
The lush green Tea estate. |
The tea estates were maintained very well and were take good care of as can be seen from the well planned layout and carefully trimmed tea plants. |
After watching numerous tea plantations, we proceeded to the highest spot (elavaton) of Munnar : Topstation. The significance of this place is that it is on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. One can see the mountain range of Kodiakanal in the extreme left portion of the picture. The entire range was filled with low lying clouds and was a treat to watch. Also note the green sloping tea plantations in the lower half of the picture. | Topstation - Munnar. |

We positioned ourselves in between the tea plants at the topstation to capture the moment on a picture. |
