jails. Other judges have tantrums on the bench and call defendents 'animals' and 'scum.'
Cops pay court attendants ("bridgemen") $5 to call their cases first. Legal Aid lawyers
defend 50 poor clients a DAY with not a second for preparation. The bail system lets
bondsmen buy freedom for the rich and well-connected. Clerks sell advance word on
court assignments and decisions. Civil cases almost always get decided in favor of the

58, vanished in Alaska three weeks ago somewhere between Anchorage and Juneau.
Since then, military and civilian planes have spent more than 2,700 hours scanning the
chilly waters of Prince William Sound or swinging northeastward through the rugged
elevations of the Chugach and Talkeeta mountains. As of last week, hope was all but
gone for Boggs, Alaska Democratic Congressman Nick Begich and two other men
aboard.
"Boggs' disappearance created a strange and unprecedented dilemma for the
House. Unopposed on the ballot, he will be re-elected this week as Congressman from
Louisiana's Second District. Therefore HE WILL REMAIN THE DEMOCRATIC LEADER
for the moment - unless the Republicans win a majority in the House this week, a
situation that would probably demote House Speaker Carl Albert to fill Bogg's chair. After
it convenes in January, Congress will have to decide whether to declare the seat vacant.
After that, Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards will have to call a special election. But for
the present, the second most powerful post in the House of Representatives will continue

BEGICH share a tragic common bond: both women lost their husbands - House Majority
Leader Hale Boggs and Rep. Nick Begich - when the light plane the two men were traveling in vanished in a storm over the Alaskan coast last October. And both women are
now seriously considering running themselves for the House seats their husbands have
left vacant. Their first and most painful obstacle is that their husbands have not been
declared legally dead.
"In Alaska, a special six-man jury meeting this week must unanimously decide that Begich is indeed dead - after which Gov. William A. Egan is required by law to declare the seat vacant and call an election within 60 to 90 days. No such procedure exists under Louisiana law. As a consequence, Gov. Edwin Edwards last week announced he would wait for the House to declare Boggs' seat vacant when it reconvenes in January, then call a special election in March. And Edwards, along with a host of other prominent Louisiana Democrats, has urged Lindy Boggs to enter it. SHE IS A SHOO-IN if she does...* "Pegge Begich is likely to have a far harder time of it. A bright, pretty, 34-year-old
blonde, Mrs. Begich campaigned hard at her husband's side. But as the wife of a first-
term congressman in a rootless frontier state, she has none of the sentimental backing
Lindy Boggs commands. With SIX children ranging from 4 to 15 at home, she has had
little opportunity to forge a public identity of her own...Most painful of all, if she is to
stand any chance of succeeding her husband, Mrs. Begich will have to launch her campaign for the nomination virtually the moment that Nick Begich is declared legally

expressed doubts about the WARREN COMMISSION findings regarding the assassination of JFK, but daughter Cokie, an apparent journalist, has no big problem with the Warren Report. Cokie's brother is THOMAS H. BOGGS, JR.. He is of the law firm, Patton, Boggs, and Blow. Partner in that law firm was RON BROWN, the late Commerce Secretary. On the day Ron Brown died under suspicious circumstances, Cokie's brother Thomas Boggs was himself the target of an ASSASSINATION attempt. WHAT DOES COKIE KNOW ABOUT IT???" - SHERMAN H. study done by one labor economist, a major determinant of how much money industry

Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW)'s Office of Civil Rights slipped in this provision:
"No otherwise qualified handicapped individual in the United States...shall solely by
reason of his handicap, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be
subjected to discrimination under ANY program or activities receiving federal financial
assistance." (WHEW!)
"Known as SECTION 504, it quickly became a lightening rod. The language was
absolute. What did it mean to 'deny benefits' or 'discriminate' in this context? Read
literally, it meant that 16,000 school systems, 7,000 hospitals, 6,700 nursing homes and
home health agencies, 2,600 institutions of higher learning, thousands of libraries, and
every transit system had to be REBUILT TO HANDICAPPED CODES. The cost to New
York City for modifying its subway system would alone be up to $4 Billion. The TOTAL cost NATIONWIDE was estimated by some to run OVER A HUNDRED BILLION." -

JANUARY On January 22nd, by a vote of 7-2, the justices upheld a constitutional right to
abortion:
JUSTICE HARRY BLACKMUN (Majority Opinion): "...The Constitution does not
explicitly mention any right of privacy. In a line of decisions, however...the Court has
recognized that a right of personal privacy, or a guarantee of certain areas or zones of
privacy, does exist under the Constitution...These decisions make it clear that ONLY
personal rights that can be deemed 'FUNDAMENTAL' or 'implicit in the concept of ordered liberty,' "Palko v. Connecticut" 302 U.S. 319, 325 (1937), are included in this guarantee of personal privacy. They also make it clear that the right has some extension to activities relating to MARRIAGE ...procreation... contraception...FAMILY relationships...and child rearing and education...
"Maternity, or additional offspring, may force upon the woman a DISTRESSFUL
life and future. Psychological harm may be imminent. Mental and physical health may
be taxed by child care. There is also the distress, for all concerned, associated with the
unwanted child...In other cases, as in THIS one, the additional difficulties and continuing stigma of UNWED motherhood may be involved...appellant and some amici argue that the woman's right is absolute and that she is entitled to terminate her pregnancy at whatever time, in whatever way, and for whatever reason she alone chooses. With this we do NOT agree...* "With respect to the State's important and legitimate interest in the health of the
mother, the 'compelling point'...is at approximately the end of the FIRST trimester...This means, on the other hand, that, for the period of pregnancy PRIOR to this 'compelling' point, the attending physician, in consultation with his patient, is free to determine, without regulation by the State, that in his medical judgment, the patient's pregnancy should be terminated. If that decision is reached, the judgment may be effectuated by an abortion FREE OF INTERFERENCE* by the State...
(a) "For the stage PRIOR to approximately the end of the first trimester, the abortion decision and its effectuation must be left to the medical judgment of the pregnant woman's attending physician.
(b) "For the stage SUBSEQUENT to approximately the end of the first trimester, the State...may, if it chooses, regulate the abortion procedure in ways that are reasonably
related to maternal health.
(c) "For the stage SUBSEQUENT TO VIABILITY (late term), the State in promoting
its interest in the POTENTIALITY OF HUMAN LIFE may, if it chooses, regulate, and even
proscribe (FORBID), abortion except where it is necessary, in APPROPRIATE MEDICAL JUDGMENT,W or the preservation of the life or health of the mother..."* JUSTICE WILLIAM REHNQUIST (Dissenting): "...The fact that a majority of the States reflecting, after all, the MAJORITY sentiment in those States, have had restrictions on abortions for at least a century is a strong indication, it seems to me, that the asserted right to an abortion is NOT 'so rooted in the traditions and conscience of our people as to be ranked as fundamental, "Snyder v. Massachusetts" 291 U.S. 97, 105 (1934). Even today, when society's views on abortion are changing, the very EXISTENCE of the debate is evidence that the 'RIGHT' to an abortion is not so UNIVERSALLY ACCEPTED as the appellant would have us believe.
"To reach its result, the Court necessarily has had to find within the scope of the
Fourteenth Amendment a 'RIGHT' that was apparently completely unknown to the DRAFTERS of the Amendment..." - "ROE v. WADE" [131][NOTES: *WHOA! Hold on here just one little minute! The ruling was "free of
government INTERFERENCE." (?) Federal FUNDING goes well beyond withholding
"interference." Funding constitutes SUPPORT of abortion - in other words, giving it their BLESSINGS! As far as that goes, they certainly have no problem with "interfering" when somebody OTHER than the mother or her doctor cause a miscarriage. Then it becomes "murder." That means the State recognizes the fetus as a PERSON. Now, why is that? When the MOTHER decided to kill it, it was deemed only a "BLOB OF FLESH!
WIt is the consensus of the AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (AMA) that late-
term abortions are unnecessary. Are you actually telling us that THEIR judgement is NOT
considered medically "appropriate?" (!!) - OL]*** "I find it hard to understand why biologists have no trouble RECOGNIZING LIFE in worms, frogs, rats, and rabbits, but medical doctors have a difficult time determining when life begins in the HIGHEST form of life - human beings." - DR. C. EVERETT KOOP*** "In January of 1973, just before the VIETNAM PEACE ACCORDS were signed, the Pentagon books carried the names of 317 men missing in LAOS. At the same time U.S.
government spokesmen were quoted as saying they believed the number was much
HIGHER. The Communist Pathet Lao spokesman, Soth Petrasy, told reporters that the
Pathet Lao had a DETAILED accounting of prisoners and WHERE THEY WERE BEING HELD. He insisted that they would be released only if there was a SEPARATE TRUCE
AGREEMENT between Laos and the United States...But the Pathet Lao were not part of
the negotiations for the release of prisoners.
"Secretary of State HENRY KISSINGER insisted to the public that prisoners in Laos would be returned by Hanoi. He maintained this stance despite the fact that Bui Tin,
chief spokesman for the North Vietnamese, ALSO insisted the United States must deal for prisoners held in Laos with the Pathet Lao. Tin said, 'We clearly reiterate our position that the question of persons captured in Laos is within the sovereign power of Laos and
beyond the competence of the four part military commission.' DESPITE EVIDENCE TO
THE CONTRARY, Kissinger said he had been told there were no POWs in Cambodia.* "On February 21, 1973 a peace agreement between the Laotian Provisional National Union government and the Pathet Lao was signed. The agreement also took note of a PROMISE OF AID FROM THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. Article 1, Sect. c. read:
'The two parties take note of the declaration of the U.S. government that it will contribute to healing the wounds of the war and to post-war reconstruction in Indo-China. The Provisional National Union Government will hold discussions with the U.S. government in connexion with such a contribution regarding Laos'." - MONIKA JENSEN-

[with] the fullest possible accounting for all those who are missing-in-action [MIAs]." -
PRESIDENT RICHARD MILHOUS NIXON 1/23/73*** "...Hearing of '60 Minutes' plan for a segment on MIAs, a few families contacted me ...Their men had been sent on missions, primarily in Laos and Cambodia, AFTER the
Peace Accords were signed on January 27, 1973. Some of these men had voiced their
objections to base commanders, because they feared that if they were caught by the
enemy in CONTRAVENTION of the Geneva Agreements, they would be charged as war
criminals. The families who came to me had EXCELLENT intelligence information that
their men had not been killed in action but had been captured.
"After the ceasefire, the U.S. had demanded from the Vietnamese and the Laotians
lists of all prisoners on their records. It was made clear that the Vietnamese were expected to return all prisoners captured by their allies. I was shocked when I was told
that some of those prisoners, captured in Laos after the ceasefire and known by the U.S.
negotiating team, through the efforts of U.S. intelligence eavesdroppers, to be ALIVE AND
IN CAPTIVITY, were first pencilled in on the list of prisoners that were demanded from the
Vietnamese and then CROSSED OFF*. "TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEM WOULD HAVE MEANT ACKNOWLEDGING THE
CONTINUING INVOLVEMENT OF THE UNITED STATES IN COVERT WARS IN LAOS AND CAMBODIA. I was told by the families that some Department of Defense officials were so disturbed by this that they REGISTERED THEIR OBJECTIONS IN WRITING. contribute to healing the wounds of war and to post-war reconstruction...'
"PRESIDENT NIXON reinforced that pledge with a SECRET PROMISE of FOUR
AND ONE-HALF BILLION AID DOLLARS in a letter to Prime Minister Pham Van Dong on
February 1, 1973. That letter was not released until four years later.* "The promise of reconstruction aid WAS NEVER KEPT, largely because Congress,
angered by reports from returning prisoners of war, of torture and mistreatment by Hanoi,
would never grant such aid. Because of WATERGATE and his...resignation, Nixon lost all possibility of arranging fund transfers from other programs. The promises that were not kept rankled the Vietnamese Communists. Time and again they were to hint during negotiations that the PRISONER ISSUE was tied to the PROMISED RECONSTRUCTION AID.
"Over the next twelve years, scores of Vietnamese refugees told stories of prisoners who were held back as 'PEARLS,' but who were NEVER BARGAINED FOR by the U.S. government. 1973, when George Shultz, at that time the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, invited the
finance ministers of FRANCE, the UNITED KINGDOM, and GERMANY to an informal
discussion in the library of the White House. The four discussed the international
monetary situation and agreed to pursue further discussions and invite the JAPANESE to
participate as well. The press at this time dubbed the finance ministers' get-togethers as
"Group of Five," or "G-5" meetings." - U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE [139]*** "By March 29, 1973, the most critical period for implementing the PPA had passed.
The last of American troops had been withdrawn; the last of the POWs on the lists provided by the DRV and the Viet Cong had been released. But the President had
reason to be concerned that LIVE U.S. POWs MIGHT WELL REMAIN IN CAPTIVITY in
Indochina.
"Over a period of several weeks, beginning on February 6, 1973 with a set of talking points provided to Dr. Kissinger by the DIA, and ending on March 28, 1973 with a strongly worded memorandum to Dr. Kissinger from Secretary of Defense Elliot Richardson, THE WHITE HOUSE HAD RECEIVED REPORTS indicating the possibility that the POW RELEASE from Indochina had NOT BEEN COMPLETE. As the intelligence community had made clear to the White House, the area of gravest concern was LAOS, where it was feared that LIVE U.S. POWs held by the Pathet Lao had been HELD BACK despite the DRV's informal promise to arrange their release. Nevertheless, the President referred only indirectly to these concerns when he told the American people that night:* 'For the first time in 12 years, no American military forces are in Vietnam. ALL OF
OUR AMERICAN POWs ARE ON THEIR WAY HOME.' A few moments later, the President added:
'There are still some problem areas. The provisions of the agreement requiring an
accounting for all missing in action in Indochina, the provisions with regard to LAOS... CAMBODIA...infiltration from North Vietnam into South Vietnam HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLIED WITH...We shall insist that North Vietnam comply with the agreement. And the leaders of North Vietnam should have no doubt as to the consequences if they fail to comply with the agreement.'
"The President did not mention that 73 of the Americans he now referred to as
'MISSING IN ACTION' were still OFFICIALLY listed by the DIA AS 'PRISONERS OF
WAR' based on information that they were or may have been captured alive. Nor did the
President cite the concerns of top Administration officials about the possibility that LIVE
AMERICANS REMAINED IN CAPTIVITY IN LAOS." - SENATE SELECT COMMITTEE [140]* "In response to a Committee question about his March 29 statement, former President Nixon wrote:
'I firmly believe that the Committee's handling of my statement has been totally
unprofessional, calculatedly attempting to create the impression that Dr. Kissinger and I
and other members of the Administration KNOWINGLY presented FALSE information with respect to the return of all our POWs. As Dr. Kissinger has testified, to leave the impression that any President and his associates would DELIBERATELY leave behind LIVE POWs was a lie. For members of the Committee to create such an impression, even for partisan political reasons, is totally unjustifiable. But to convey the impression to the hundreds of families of MIAs that an American President deliberately left behind their loved ones and that SOME OF THEM MIGHT STILL BE ALIVE can only be described as obscene.
'The Committee owes to the MIA families and to history an HONEST statement of the facts with regard to POWs and MIAs. Throughout America's military history, casualties are divided into three categories - those known to be killed in action; those
known to be and acknowledged by the enemy to be prisoners of war; and all others who
are classified as missing in action. My statement on March 29 was true to my knowledge
then and, in view of what I have seen of the Committee's work to date, is true now.
Further, the fact that I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE ACCOUNTING we received for
MIAs was true then and is true now'." - PRESIDENT RICHARD MILHOUS NIXON [141]* "...there was a sea change attitude immediately following the President's assertion
that EVERYBODY has now come home...But...No one raised the issue, apparently, inside the Government after the President (Nixon) made his assertion in March of 1973 ...NO ONE CHOSE TO CHALLENGE THE PRESIDENT'S STATEMENT and recharacterize it in a way that would be LESS POSITIVE..." - SENATOR TOM DASCHLE (D-SD) [142]* "[O]nce you announce that [ALL of the POWs are home, and that you have NO
indications any remain ALIVE in Indochina,] YOU LOSE ANY LEVERAGE YOU HAVE ON THE LAO AND THE NORTH VIETNAMESE. If you're publicly saying we have no indication, how can you press them privately or any other way to release? So it undercuts any leverage you have with them. That's one aspect, leaving aside whether it's a strange
reversal of our actual calculations and whether there's any DISSEMBLING (coverup) here,
but just in terms of pressing North Vietnam and Laos, you're losing your leverage. They'll
say: Well, YOU ANNOUNCED THAT YOU DIDN'T HAVE ANY...Leaving aside the human and other political dimensions, it's terrible [negotiating strategy]. You lose all your leverage with the other side." - AMBASSADOR WINSTON LORDAPRIL "To date, the United States' best opportunity to learn about the fates of unaccounted for servicemen came in February and March 1972, when 591 Americans were returned during OPERATION HOMECOMING. Of the 591 POWs returned between February 12 and April 1, 1973, 457 returned from North Vietnam, 122 from South Vietnam, nine from Laos, and, following additional diplomatic negotiations, three returned from CHINA. In all, 566 were servicemen - 325 were from the Air Force, 138 belonged to the Navy, 77 were Army and 26 were Marines. The 25 civilians were members of various U.S. Government agencies.
"The Vietnamese listed 55 as having died in captivity; returning POWs put the number at 111. On April 13, 1973 the Pentagon announced that there was no evidence that any more U.S. POWs were still alive in Indochina. During this same period, however, the DOD's Homecoming Center at Clark Air Force Base (the Center) reported that RETURNING POWs had provided information indicating that 156 servicemen 'MAY have died in captivity'.* "In early April, 1973, Deputy Secretary of Defense William Clements summoned Dr.
Roger Shields, head of the Defense Department's POW/MIA Task Force, to his office to
discuss DOD's need for a new public formulation of its POW/MIA policy. According to Dr.
Shields' deposition:
DR. SHIELDS: 'He (Clements) indicated to me that he believed that there were NO
AMERICANS ALIVE IN INDOCHINA. And I said: I don't believe that you could say that... And he said: YOU DIDN'T HEAR WHAT I SAID. And I said: you can't say that. And I thought he was probably going to fire me...'
Q: 'What did you interpret that to mean, 'you didn't hear me'?'
DR. SHIELDS: 'That I WAS FIGHTING THE PROBLEM. You remember that there
were a lot of people at the time who wanted to declare victory, OK. And I think that maybe
at that point in time he believed that we had what we had and that was all we were going
to get...' - DR. ROGER SHIELDS [143]* "Mr. Clements provided the Select Committee with INCONSISTENT TESTIMONY
on this subject. In his deposition, Mr. Clements denied any recollection of a meeting with
Dr. Shields and stated that he and Dr. Shields never would have had such a meeting,
because Dr. Shields was too low in the Pentagon hierarchy. Further, Mr. Clements
testified, he would not have told anyone in April 1973 that 'they're all dead,' because it
was not until several years later that he reached that conclusion. At the public hearing in
September 1992, however, Mr. Clements conceded that he DID meet with Dr. Shields in
early April 1973. Mr. Clements testified that he told Dr. Shields that 'IN ALL LIKELIHOOD
those people over there are probably all dead.' [T]here's NO WAY that I could have said
they are all dead, because I didn't KNOW that." - SENATE SELECT COMMITTEE [144]* "On April 11, 1973, one day prior to a scheduled DOD press conference at which
he was to discuss the results of Operation Homecoming, Dr. Shields met with President
Nixon and Gen. Brent Scowcroft, the Deputy National Security Adviser. A memo prepared
for the meeting by Gen. Scowcroft indicated that its purpose was to thank Dr. Shields for
his work on the POW/MIA issue and to discuss the results of Operation Homecoming.
Among the proposed items for discussion were the following questions:
5. 'Now that our prisoners are back, how are we progressing in respect for our MISSING IN ACTION?'
6. 'Are there any indications that some of our MIA's might still be ALIVE?'
7. 'Do you believe the OTHER SIDE will cooperate in helping us to account for the
MISSING IN ACTION?' " - INTERNAL MEMO [145]* "In a letter to the Committee, former President Nixon wrote:
'My recollection is that I told Mr. Shields we had an equal obligation to find the facts concerning the MIAs as we did to secure the release of the POWs. I also conveyed to him my belief, which I still firmly hold, that it would have been unfair and a disservice to MIA families to RAISE FALSE HOPES without justification'." - PRESIDENT RICHARD
MILHOUS NIXON [146]* "On April 12, 1973, Dr. Shields met with the press to discuss the Defense Department's reaction to Operation Homecoming. Although his opening remarks did not
deal with the subject, one of the first questions directed at Dr. Shields concerned the
POSSIBLE SURVIVAL OF AMERICAN POWS IN LAOS AND CAMBODIA. Dr. Shields
responded by saying that:
'We have no indications at this time that there are any Americans alive in Indochina. As I said, WE DO NOT CONSIDER THE LIST OF MEN that we received from Laos, the recovery of 10 individuals, 9 of whom were American and 7 military, TO BE A COMPLETE ACCOUNTING for all Americans who are lost in Laos. Nor do we consider it to be a complete statement of our information known to the LPF (Pathet Lao) in Laos. With regard to CAMBODIA, we have a number of men who are missing in action there, SOME THAT WE CARRIED AS CAPTIVE. We intend to pursue that, too. With regard to these men and these uncertainties which we have, even though we have no indication that there are any Americans still alive, we are going to pursue our efforts through the process of accounting for the missing. This is exactly what this procedure is for. And we anticipate that if any Americans are yet alive for one reason or another, that we would be able to ascertain that through this process of accounting for the missing'.* "Although Dr. Shields insists that he had no intention of 'declaring all U.S. POWs
dead,' newspaper headlines the following day stressed the pessimistic nature of his
response. 'POW UNIT BOSS: NO LIVING GIs LEFT IN INDOCHINA,' read one headline. Dr. Shields, himself, told the Committee that:
'I was distressed about the way it was reported, because a lot of family members
called me on that, my very good friends. And I wanted to tell them and assure them that I
was NOT SAYING that people were DEAD. If it had been reported that all Americans
were dead, I did not say that'." - DEPOSITION OF DR. ROGER SHIELDS [147]* "Despite these concerns, the Department of Defense made no effort to correct or
clarify the record by emphasizing in public the evidence that some Americans might still
be alive. As Dr. Shields himself wrote in an internal Defense Department memorandum
dated May 24, 1973, the one oft-quoted line from his April 12, 1973 press briefing - that
DOD had 'no INDICATIONS...that there are any Americans ALIVE in Indochina' - had
become 'the BASIS for ALL SUBSEQUENT ANSWERS from DOD to questions concerning the possibility that Americans may still be held prisoner in Southeast Asia.'
"...several Nixon Administration officials who appeared before the Select Committee expressed concern about the accuracy of Dr. Shields' 'no indications' statement. Admiral Moorer, for example, described the statement as 'PREMATURE.' Lawrence Eagleburger, author of a March 28, 1973 internal Pentagon memorandum discussing the possibility that live Americans remained in Laos, described as 'TROUBLING' the juxtaposition of Dr. Shields' statement with the INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION ON POWs in LAOS. Ambassador Winston Lord said he had 'no explanation' for Dr. Shields' statement and described it as 'PUZZLING'." - SENATE SELECT COMMITTEE [148]* "The individual who most deserves the title of TRAITOR...is GENERAL ALEXANDER HAIG...[a] desk-man office-colonel whose paper-shuffling career did not include commanding any troops in battle...On Round Table orders, [Henry] Kissinger had Haig promoted FROM COLONEL TO FOUR-STAR GENERAL in the most meteoric rise ever recorded in the annals of United States military history, in the course of which Haig
was LEAP-FROGGED OVER 280 SENIOR U.S. ARMY GENERALS AND HIGH- RANKING OFFICERS.
"During Haig's 'promotion,' and as a result of it, 25 SENIOR GENERALS WERE
FORCED TO RESIGN. As a reward for his treachery toward President Nixon, AND THE
UNITED STATES, Haig was subsequently given the plum job of COMMANDING GENERAL of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization forces (NATO), although he was THE LEAST QUALIFIED COMMANDER EVER TO HOLD THAT POSITION. Here again he was leap-frogged over 400 SENIOR GENERALS from NATO countries and the United States...* "But before his military promotion took him out of Washington, let it be known that Alexander Haig, in conjunction with KISSINGER, all but DESTROYED the office of the
President of the United States and its government...On the insistence of the RIIA (Royal
Institute of International Affairs), HAIG VIRTUALLY TOOK OVER THE MANAGEMENT OF
THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES after the April coup d' etat.
"Bringing 100 Round Table agents chosen from the Brookings Institution, Institute of Policy Studies and the Council on Foreign Relations, Haig filled the TOP ONE HUNDRED POSTS in Washington with men who, like himself, were BEHOLDEN TO A FOREIGN POWER. In the ensuing debacle, the Nixon Administration was torn asunder, and the United States along with it." - DR. JOHN COLEMAN [149]*** (TAPE) QUESTION: "Do you think there still are POWs alive and well somewhere
in either Laos or Cambodia?" ANSWER: "We have no indications at this time that there
are any Americans alive in Indochina." (End tape)
"That was your statement at a press conference on the 12th of April, 1973. We have no indications at this time that there are any Americans alive. Now...as of February of 1973 you personally had information about an EC or an EQ-47 shot down in Laos, and
you believed that FOUR MEMBERS OF THAT CREW SURVIVED..." - CHAIRMAN JOHN
KERRY (D-MA) [150]*** "...the next few years (from 1973) will be among the most prosperous in the history of mankind...[the] world economy will become white-hot...[BUT] The message I received from God was very clear and to the point. It was simply this: 'There is great economic confusion coming and lean years lay just ahead. THERE WILL BE A FEW SHORT, FAT, AND FLOURISHING YEARS TO PREPARE FOR THE LEAN YEARS. Work and pray to clear off all debts and get ready for drastic cuts in budget. The money will not be flowing as it was in the past...Don't panic - don't be afraid - just prepare for it and expect it!'
"...The PRICE OF GOLD is going to rise astronomically, but it will not be sustained over a long period of time. SILVER will also become a very precious metal and its price will go wild. But neither silver nor gold will offer real security...GOLD HOARDERS ARE GOING TO GET HURT - BADLY.* "There will develop a call for revamping all world monetary systems into ONE UNIFORM SYSTEM...a new crisis will develop that will shake the entire financial world. It will be years before faith in the American dollar will be restored.* I believe a REVIVED
ROMAN EMPIREW will eventually become the power base for a SUPER WORLD LEADER who will arise to restore economic order. He will no doubt institute a worldwide
