1976, the Secretary of the Treasury used something of a slight of hand
to confuse matters more by determining, 'The Director, Alcohol, Tobacco,
and Firearms has been replaced with the term Internal Revenue Service.'
Obviously, it is impossible to replace a person with a thing when it comes
to administrative responsibility. However, the order demonstrates that
IRS and BATF are one and the same, merely operating with inter- changeable
hats. Therefore, definitions and designations applicable to one are applicable

Revenue Agent: Any duly authorized Commonwealth Internal Revenue Agent
of the Department of the Treasury OF PUERTO RICO.

Secretary of His Delegate: The Secretary or any officer or employee of
the Department of the Treasury OF PUERTO RICO duly authorized by the Secretary
to perform the function mentioned or described in this part.

Temple in Indianapolis was recently confiscated by the IRS for "tax evasion."
Although they did not owe any taxes (they shouldn't have, in any event,
since churches are supposedly exempt), the IRS took the church anyway.
The REAL reason was because the pastor didn't act as their TAX COLLECTOR.
This was despite the fact that the parisheners paid individually as independent
contractors - actually giving the IRS MORE tax money than if they
had been a 501 tax-exempt corporation. So, I decided to ask the "taxpayer's"
friend about this situation. Dan reminds us that:

authority, implemented a tax convention the President signed with the British
government. There are now 74 such conventions in place. THE TAX NEVER HAS
APPLIED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN GENERAL. However, the underlying presumption
is that Americans are subject to Subtitle C employment taxes, which include
Chapter 21-23 SOCIAL WELFARE taxes and Chapter 24 GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL
tax, all of which are withheld at the source.

Heroes truly ARE "made, not born" - even those of the female persuasion.
Incredibly, some of them can even be found within federal bureaucracies:
In the Benefits Division of the VA's regional office in Chicago, MAUDE
DE VICTOR's phone rings. The call is from the wife of a dying Vietnam veteran,
who believes his terminal cancer is caused by his exposure to "AGENT ORANGE."
Shortly thereafter, she receives another call, this time to inform her
that the veteran has died and the VA is REFUSING the widow's claim
for survivor benefits.
Now, this is all new to De Victor. Certainly, she has never heard of "Agent
Orange," so she begins to question every veteran she comes in contact with
about their symptoms. She also queries the wives. Shortly thereafter, a
very nervous supervisor demands she STOP - immediately. De Victor flatly

designed in an unusual (and prophetic?) shape: a BOOT. Considering that

world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion

MCAT (MEDICAL COLLEGE ADMISSIONS TEST) for 1978-79 entry to medical school.

admission. Furthermore, it screened for characteristics never before tested:

disinterested, for the oil crisis forced many developing nations, with
doubtful repayment abilitites, to borrow excessively. All told, private

nearly $52 Billion to developing countries. An overhauled IMF would provide
another source of credit for these nations, and would take the big private
banks off the hook. This proposal is the cornerstone of the Trilateral

may lead to the stated goal of reducing a country's payment deficit, and
make it more creditworthy in the eyes of the banks, the steps a government
has to take to carry out those recommendations can in many instances lead
to heightened political tension and greater social unrest. In some countries,
GOVERNMENTS MAY HAVE TO RESORT TO POLITICAL REPRESSION IN ORDER TO CARRY
OUT SUCH POLICIES...
