Update on Taumee:

On September 6 Taumee is 5 months old.

She tips the scales at about 40 lbs.

She has lost all her baby teeth, I got to save two of them

and neither one is a canine tooth.

Katie is her best friend, and looks forward to playing with her everyday.

There are some days that go by that they do not get to play with each other,

and Taumee will mope around till she gets her way.

Taumee learns well by a scolding.

All you have to do is point to something that she has done,

making sure she sees it, and tell her,

"No! No! Bad dog!"

and she creeps away knowing that she should not have done it.

Then come the next day my back yard is decorated

with all kinds of things that Taumee had gotten into,

Candles, Dish Towels, Paper Towels, Toys, Food Dishes.

Whatever is not tied down or picked up,

Taumee thinks that it is free rein for her.

I keep telling her that if her name is not on it, it is not hers to play with.

One day, I had a 5-lb bag of bird seed.

It was put in a corner in the front room.

I thought it was safe. Nothing is safe from Taumee!

I came home for lunch to find Taumee excitedly greeting me at the door,

to show me that she had tried to feed the birds.

But she had a bit of trouble as in getting the seed out of the bag,

she had to shake it.  Therefore throwing seed all over the house.

The bag was torn to shreds, and I had seed all over the

floors, couches, speakers, rugs, and nooks and crannies!

It took 6 vacuum cleaner bags to vacuum up all that seed.

Needless to say the birds went hungry.

The following are some updated pictures of Taumee:
