Born 322AC. Goldmoon was a princess of the Que-Shu tribe before the war of the lance, exceptional in her beauty and her silver-gold hair. She fell in love with Riverwind, a sheperd, who believed in the true gods unlike the rest of the tribe.Because of this, Goldmoon’s father sent Riverwind on a quest to find evidence of this gods, a quest that he hoped would send Riverwind to his death. Riverwind found the blue crystal staff of Mishakal in Xak Tsaroth. On returning to the village he and Goldmoon were transported by the staff to Solace. During the war of the lance, the Que-shu tribe was destroyed. Goldmoon became the first cleric of a true god since the Cataclysm when they found a temple to Mishakal and the platinum disks of Mishakal in Xak Tsaroth. The return of faith was influential in the turning of the tide of the war against the dragonarmies. After the war the village of Que-Shu was rebuilt and she and Riverwind had two daughters, Moonsong and Brightdawn. Strum Brightblade Sturm was born the son of a knight of Solamnia in the year of 322AC. As a child, his father’s castle fell under seige by commoners, and so he and his mother were forced into exile to Solace. There he met Tanis and the rest of the companions. For most of his life, he was not a knight but followed the code and measure rigidly and wore his father’s armour with pride when the knights were hated and reviled. Only at Sancrist, during the war of the lance was he made a knight of the crown. He then sacrificed himself defending the High Clerist’s tower against the dragonarmies, giving Laurana enough time to use the dragon orb and win the battle. He had one child, Steel Brightblade, with Kitiara Uth Matar, an accident during their travels together before the war
LAURANA
Laurana was Born 271AC. Her full name is Lauranalanthalasa Kanan, born of the House of Solostaran. The daughter of Solostaran, speaker of the suns, she was a princess of Qualinesti. During her early years before the war of the lance, Laurana, was quite spoilt and protected from the world, and carried with her many typical elven views and prejudices. She lived with Tanis, a half-elf, and became besotted with him, wishing to marry him in the future. Tanis, however, knew that her father would never accept this, and that he could not love her in the same way she loved him due to being half-human, and so refused her affections and left Qualinesti. When Tanis returned to Qualinesti by accident and then went to Pax Tharkas, she ran after him. There she saw death and suffering and true love, and discovered she was not perfect. This made her unlike other elves – understanding the ways of humans, seeing that elves are part of the world, not above it. After journeying with the heroes of the lance she helped to return the dragons, dragon orbs and dragonlances to humans to help win the war. She was then made commander of the knights of Solamnia, who then rode to victory on dragons. She became known to the people of Solamnia as the golden general. After the war, having been renounced by her father for mixing with humans, she married Tanis, and had a son, Gilthas.
TIKA WAYLAN:
Born 332AC, Tika began life as an orphan. Fortunately, she was adopted by Otik Sandath, keeper of the Inn of the Last Home in Solace. She worked there for many years as a barmaid until Solace was attacked by the dragonarmies during the war of the lance and the residents taken to the slave mines at Pax Tharkas. However, she was taken with the heroes of the lance, and was rescued by Qualinesti elves with them. She then travelled with them to Pax Tharkas, Tarsis, Silvanesti, the bottom of the blood sea of Istar, Panthalas and Kalaman, during which she fell in love with Caramon Majere and helped win the war of the lance for the armies of good. After the war she married him, and after a brief period of unrest due to Caramon’s drinking problem they had five children together, Tanin, Sturm, Palin, Laura and Dezra.
FLINT FIREFORGE:
Born 203AC. Flint, a hill dwarf, wandered Krynn in his earlier years working as a metalsmith. He lived in Solace, having a fondness of the food and drink of the Inn of the Last Home. During his travels he met Tanthalas, a half-elf living in Qualinesti, and the two became friends. Tanis later moved to Solace to join Flint. There they became friends with Sturm Brightblade, Caramon and Raistlin Majere, Kitiara Uth Matar and Tasslehoff Burrfoot. Flint was considered by all to be quite gruff and stern, but under the hard, proud exterior he cared deeply for all his friends. He suffered from a hereditary heart condition and spent much of his life with chest pains of which he never complained. Flint became the inseparable companion of Tas before, then during the War of the Lance, towards the end of which Flint died at Godshome of his heart condition. This loss affected Tasslehoff greatly, but the two met again at Reorx’s forge up in the sky, under a tree, at a bench, when Tas died fighting the god of chaos.
RAISTLIN MAJERE:
Raistlin, twin of Caramon, was born 326 AC. He very nearly died at birth, the midwife having left him for dead. It was only because of Kitiara, his half-sister, that he survived. Throughout his childhood he was very weak, but also scarily intelligent and perceptive – very unlike his brother. He was also very courageous, living with pain for most of his life. He never cared much for the arts of war, preferring to study. This, his strange stare that seemed to see through a person, and his cynicism meant that he was never very popular with his classmates or teachers. He took to magic very well, having been born with the gift, learning to read the language almost instantly. He sought knowledge, power, and answers above all things. His ambition grew with his power, until he took the test of high sorcery at the tower of Wayreth. There he was aided by Fistandantilus, a powerful magic user who had lived since before the Cataclysm, in return for which the spirit entered his body and dwelt there, which had the effect of sapping Raistlin’s strength. During the test he was attacked by a dark elf. He survived due only to Fistandantilus' help, but his skin turned a metallic gold. The mages at the tower gave him pupils shaped like hourglasses that saw time as it affects all things to try and teach him compassion. Thus he was cursed to see all life around him slowly dying and withering. After time, Fistandantilus planned to take over Raistlin, but with the power that Raistlin gained from Fistandantilus’ spiritual force and a dragon orb, Raistlin overcame Fistandantilus and fought for possession of his lifeforce. He then travelled back in time to learn more from Fistandantilus, then became him, possessing his body and spirit. Raistlin was now the most powerful magic user that had ever lived. And as his power grew, so did his ambition. He sought to enter the abyss, defeat the Queen of Darkness and become a god. He manipulated and used Crysania, a cleric of Paladine (who fell in love with him), and Caramon, his brother to this end. When he entered the abyss however, he failed when he found out that this would lead to the destruction of Krynn and all beings except for himself. It was later said that he sacrificed himself to save the world. Raistlin in fact sacrificed himself so that he might continue to live a meaningful existence. Unfortunately, this was constant torture at the hands of the Queen of Darkness, but he had a chance to return to Krynn. Later, he left the abyss to help Palin Majere, his nephew, and Usha defeat the forces of Chaos during the second cataclysm. When the Gods left he went with them.
CARAMON MAJERE:
Born 326AC. Caramon was the twin brother of Raistlin Majere, and half-brother to Kitiara. He was very unlike his twin – strong, handsome, good with a sword, loyal to his friends, but also a bit slow, understanding very little about the ways of magic, the gods, or his brother. Throughout his life, he cared deeply for Raistlin, protecting him from harm, and aiding him in his daily struggle against death. He was therefore greatly affected when Raistlin left him to walk on the dark side, and was needed no longer. However, if he could he would have been loyal to Raistlin, following him into the darkness even if it meant his own death. Caramon fought in the war of the lance and went to Neraka, bringing the war to an end by reuniting the Everman with the foundation stone and his sister, shutting Takhisis’ door from the abyss to the land of mortals. During the war he fell in love with Tika, but was only able to commit himself to her when Raistlin left him. After the War of the Lance he married Tika Waylan, but slowly turned to drink, having spent all his life supporting Raistlin, and now was unneeded and unwanted by him. He never did understand his brother’s devotion to his magic, and dreamt of Raistlin returning to the light and coming to live with him and Tika. Caramon eventually built a new life for himself, having five children with Tika - Tanin, Sturm, Palin, Laura and Dezra.
TANIS HALF-ELVEN:
Tanis’ full elven name was Tanthalas. He was born 249 AC (after cataclysm). He is half-elf, half-human, his elven mother having been raped during wars with humans. He was allowed to live in the household of the Speaker of the Sun in Qualinesti, but he was never really accepted there. Matters were made worse due to Laurana falling in love with him. He became friends with Flint Fireforge, a dwarven metalsmith who visited Qualinesti occasionally. By that time he knew that he could not stay in the elven kingdom so, at the age of eighty years, he travelled to Solace to find Flint. There he brought a house and became a business partner in Flint’s metalsmith trade. There he met Tasslehoff, Sturm, Raistlin, Caramon and Kitiara. He was especially close to Kitiara, his lover, although he never really knew her. Then came the war of the lance, where he helped to win the war for the forces of good by killing Ariakas, commander-in-chief of the dragonarmies. During the war he discovered who he really loved, and saw what sort of person Kitiara really was. After the war Tanis married Laurana, who gave birth to Gilthas. Tanis died 383 AC during the battle for the High Clerist’s tower when the dark knights of Takhisis invaded Ansalon.
RiverWind:
Don’t know much about him but his a great shot and his Goldmoons Husband…..
DALAMAR THE DARK:
Dalamar was born around 260 AC of a low caste of the Silvanesti elven. Dalamar, like all Silvanesti, was tall, graceful, slight of build and very handsome. He first discovered his true passion in life when he was taught the rudimentary basics of the magical arts. He had tasted the power, and he became obsessed with gaining more power in the art. However, higher learning was only for elven royalty and nobles. He learnt in secret, practicing magic that only the highest ranking mages could perform, and soon found that he was most impressed by the dark arts, the magic of the black robes. But he was discovered wearing the robes that true elves could not bear to look upon. He was cast out of his homeland, and became a dark elf - "one who is outside of the light". He became a spy of the wizard's conclave, posted in the Tower of High Sorcery in Panthalas as Raistlin's apprentice, since they feared his power and intentions. He was able to observe and learn from the greatest and most powerful mage ever to live on Krynn, the master of past and present. Like Raistlin, he was completely devoted to the magic, and would do anything for it. Raistlin, with the power to see what was happening anywhere on Krynn and to read people's thoughts, of course knew that Dalamar was spying on him all along. He punished him by burning five holes in Dalamar's chest with his fingertips, holes that would not heal for the rest of his long life. Even after what Raistlin had done to him, Dalamar admired, respected and feared him. However, he helped Caramon to enter the Abyss to persaude Raistlin not to become a god, since it would lead to the destruction of Krynn. After Raistlin left Krynn, he lived in the tower of high sorcery as the master of the tower, although the guardians would still obey Raistlin over Dalamar's commands. For his heroic actions saving Krynn, he also rose to head of the Order of the Black Robes. He later assisted Tanis in his fight against Kitiara's forces, since he knew that if the world was taken over by evil, it would lead to its destruction. After Kitiara's attack and subsequent death, having been killed by Dalamar, he became attached to a red robed wizardress, Jenna, who became his lover. Many years later, he also assisted Palin and Usha when the forces of Chaos threatened to obliterate the world of Krynn. He is still alive and well, having probably saved the world a total of three times so far during his lifetime.
