WHITE CLOUD - TANICHTHYS ALBONUBES
NATURAL HABITAT: The White Cloud is found in the waters of China.
SIZE: White Clouds grow to about 1.5 - 2".
COLOUR: The White Cloud comes in red, grey, and more.
SHAPE: The White Cloud is rather small in height and long in width.
TEMPERAMENT: Peaceful community aquarium fish.
CARE: Feed with live foods and tubifex worms. It likes to have rocks and lots of plants in the aquarium.
WATER CONDITIONS: pH 7.0 - 7.5. The temperature is quite low; 18 - 22*C. (64 - 73*F)
GENDER: A little difficult to tell, the male should have brighter colours as male fish generally do.
BREEDING: This fish is relitively easy to breed. I would suggest a temperature of 20*C and a pH of about 7.0. The parents should be removed after the eggs are laid.
COMMENTS ON THE WHITE CLOUD: The White Cloud comes from China where the water is not as warm as it is in the tropics. That is why it probably has a low temperature. This fish is very active and swims at all ranges of the tank.
