False Prophets
Do not be deceived by false prophets, investigate everything and everyone you believe, investigate me, investigate your pastors, check up on Biblical quotations, put your trust only in the Lord and His Word and you shall never be led astray.
In the book of Matthew, Jesus warns us of the following:
"Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." - Matthew 24:4-5 He continues on to say "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many." - Matthew 24:11So we must always remember that just because something is called "Christian" it may not necessarily be the case. I personally have had experience with this kind of deception when I was looking at some online Christian resources. I was in a Topical Bible page and found it very helpful for looking up some specific concerns that I had. Then in the corner of the screen it was explaining an online bible study course. I clicked on it and it said "Welcome To The Christadelphians". For one thing, I don't know what this group is all about and I'm not here to make judgement on them, but the truth is, I don't want to know what they are all about. I don't want you to know what they are all about. It doesn't matter to me because I am a Christian, period. No fancy names and catchy tags. It is from this point of view that I warn you and I would like to state that I have no affiliation with any groups,sects,etc. I'm just a simple girl who loves the Lord, and that's all I've ever wanted to be.
