...A Baby...

As Kait and I cleaned, we talked. "Are you mad at Zac for something?" I asked her.
"No. Why?"
"It just seemed like it."
"He was being kind of annoying."
"He's just happy that you're going out now."
"I guess."
"Is he a good kisser?"
"Yeah! At first I don't think he knew what to do, but he got the hang of it pretty fast!"
"Cool." "I wonder why he suddenly decided to ask me out..."
"Oh well MAYBE some person...not me or anything...copied your poem 'You' and gave it to him from you..."
"WHAT??"
"It was for him right?"
"Well, yeah. But I wasn't going to GIVE IT to him!"
"He liked it, didn't he?"
"I GUESS."
"Ask him about it. See what he says." We had finished cleaning, and sat down to watch TV.

MEANWHILE...

Tay and Zac sat in silence watching the Beavis and Butthead rerun. After about five minutes of that, there was a knock at the door.
"Come in!" Tay called. Ike walked in.
"Hey Ike," Zac announced, "I have a girlfriend!"
"Really? I didn't even think you liked anyone!"
"Oh my GAWD Ike! You didn't notice that our little brother was like, obsessed with Kait??"
"Kait?!!??? Isn't she like, three years older than you??"
"Yes KAIT! She isn't three years older than me, only one and 353 days!"
"I still think she's too old for you!"
"NO SHE ISN'T!!" Zac jumped from his bed and ran out of the room.

Kait and I were watching Hang Time when there was a knock at the door. Kait got up to answer it. Zac burst in babbling about Ike being stupid or something. (We all knew that, right? (j/k))
"Zac? Can you please babble somewhere else?" Kait grabbed Zac's hand and pulled him into the bathroom. She shut the door behind them.
"...I mean, can you believe him?? You don't think you're too old for me, do you?"
"No. Age doesn't matter at ALL!" She pulled him close to her and he wrapped his arms around her waist and smiled.
"Aren't you warm in this coat?" He slowly unzipped it and threw it on the floor. "Now if you get cold, I can warm you up!"
"I'm ready for your kisses now..." He leaned over and kissed her forehead, her chin, both of her cheeks, and finally her lips. He kissed her softly, and as they kissed, the bathroom door flew open.
"Oh. Sorry. I just wanted to see if you were calmed down Zac. I guess you are." He shut the door. A couple of seconds later, it flew open again. "Hey, break it up! You haven't even been going out for two HOURS!" He put one hand on each of their shoulders and pulled them apart. Then he walked out of the bathroom muttering, "At this rate, they'll have kids before Zac's THIRTEEN!!"
"Tay. That isn't possible," Zac said, coming out of the bathroom holding Kay's hand. "Even if we had sex right NOW and Kait got pregnant, 4 1/2 months is HARDLY enough time for a baby to grow and develop."
"Geez, I was just trying to make a point!"
"Well, be more correct with your points then." Zac smiled smugly and led his new girlfriend out of the room. They went down the hall a few feet to Zac's room and went in. Zac shut the door behind them. He pulled Kait over to the bed and made her sit down leaning up against it. He sat on the bed behind her and wrapped his legs around her, putting his feet in her lap.
"Hey, I like your poem that you wrote," He suddenly commented.
"What poem?" Kait asked innocently.
"You know what poem."
"Maybe I do..."
"I really did like it though. It was really sweet." She put her head back into his lap and looked up at him. She smiled. He bent over to kiss her, and grunted from the strain of bending all the way over. She laughed at him.
"Hey, it's not funny! I want to kiss you!" She pushed his feet off of her and climbed into his lap. She pushed him back and sat on him. She leaned over so that one elbow was on each side of his head. Their faces were almost touching, and her hair made a kind of cave around them. "We get into this position a lot, don't we?"
"It's a good position."
"Yeah." Kait leaned in closer and Zac wrapped his arms around her. She just gave him one soft kiss, but Zac held her there and kissed her for longer than she had intended. She finally pulled away.
"Zac, we came here to talk, not to make out."
"We did?"
"Yep." She sat up, but stayed on his legs. Zac pulled himself up and hugged Kait. She cuddled into his warm arms.
"Hey, you know the dance tonight?"
"Yeah..."
"Do you want to go with me?"
"I was hoping you would ask that. Of course I want to."
"Good. Not to sound rude, but I'm wondering, are you a virgin?"
"No."
"How many times?"
"Three."
"Okay."
