I'm Glad You're Not A Bad Girl Anymore

"I was looking for attention from my family and I got addicted." Kait explained after a long pause.
"Did you get the attention?" Zac inquired.
"No."
"I'll be your family now." He kissed her ear.
"Okay. That's a lot better than my REAL family."
"I like you."
"Well, I like you too."
"No, I mean, you and Airi asked me earlier what I thought of you. I like you. A lot. Oh, and here's your bra." He pulled it out of his pocket and handed it to her. She set it next to her. "How did you stop with the drugs and trouble and stuff?"
"You."
"Huh? You didn't know me."
"Not JUST you. Hanson. Your music. A friend who cared."
"Who was the friend?"
"Airi."
"Oh. What's it like?"
"What's what like?"
"Being high."
"Umm..... You feel spacey and it's kind of scary. You feel.... it's like deja-vu. Like a constant state of deja-vu."
"Would I like it?"
"I don't know. Prob'ly not. Nothing's solid. You feel like you're in a bad dream or something."
"I'll take your word for it."
"I hope you do."
"What's sex like?"
"It'd be a little different for me than for you."
"Well what's it like for you?"
"It hurts but that's the best part. It's like pleasure pain. Every time I've done it wasn't special, so there was no level other than physical. When we do it, I want it to be special. It'd be like the real first time then. Do you understand why I wanna wait?"
"Yeah I guess. What's it feel like emotionally?"
"I don't know. I've never been on that emotional level before."
"Oh. What's your favorite color?"
"That's a bit of a different question!"
"I just realized I didn't know."
"Red."
"I like blue."
"Yeah, I know."
"How did you know? Wait, nevermind."
"I know lots about you." Kait hugged him and then kissed his cheek.
"Okay then, when did I lose my first tooth?"
"I don't know, when you were 7?"
"Hey, how'd you know?"
"I just guessed!"
"What day was it?"
"Monday the 14th of December."
"I have NO idea!" They both laughed. "I'm glad you're not a bad girl anymore. I would have never met you."
"That's REALLY sweet Zac!"
"Really?"
"Why would I say it if it wasn't true?" She sat up and looked out the window. "It's raining. Or is the sky crying because you're such a sweetheart?" She smiled at him. He smiled back at her and blushed high on his cheekbones. Kait stood up and walked over to get her pants.
"What's it say on you ass?" She grabbed her pants and walked back. She stood with her back facing him so he could read. "I can't see!"
"What am I supposed to do? Stick my ass in your face?"
"Sure, why not?" He smiled at her. Then he reached up and pulled her down to where he could see. He read 'Monday' and the quote associated. "Well, now I know what day it is!"
"Didn't you before?"
"Yeah, but now I know again. Should we go back?"
"Yeah. It looks really wet out." Kait pulled her bra into her shirt and tried to put it on. "Zac? Can you help me?" He came over and clasped her bra for her. "You managed that one easy."
"It's not that hard. I could see it." He picked up the pink blanket. Kait put on her pants. Zac handed her the blanket. "Hold this." He lifted her up with one arm across her shoulders and one under her knees.
"ZAC!!!!"
"I'm helping you." He set her on the window sill and she jumped down. "Stay under the ledge." He hoisted himself out. Then he picked her up again. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he took the blanket with his left hand. He tossed it over her.
