MEANWHILE....
Kait walked into her room and saw Zac asleep on the bed. She quietly went over
to the other bed and sat down. She reached into her nearby suitcase and pulled
out a pair of short blue jean shorts, a white tank top, and a rainbow zip-up
sweater. She changed out of her light blue terrycloth shorts, and into the jean
ones. As she peeled off her white baby tee, she heard a noise behind her.
"Why are you on that bed, and not here with me?" She jumped and turned around.
"You scared the SHIT out of me!!"
"Sorry."
"I didn't want to wake you up. I didn't-did I?"
"No." She went over and sat beside him.
"Feeling any better?"
"Not really, but if you kiss me I'll be better."
"If I kiss you, you'll throw up."
"You don't make me throw up, you make me better."
"You're cute even when you're sick!"
"You're cuter."
"I'm gonna kiss you now, because you're a sweetie, I can, and I want to." She
leaned over and kissed his cheek.
"Not the cheek, the lips!"
"Okay, but you gotta promise not to barf in my mouth!"
"I won't." She kissed his lips.
"You're lips are hot."
"You ARE hot!"
"How can you be such a big flirt when you're sick?"
"I have a great girl to flirt WITH!" She touched his nose.
"Stop flirting." He kissed her fingertip.
"No!" There was a knock on the door. Kait threw on her shirt and got up to
answer it. She grabbed her sweater and pulled it on as she walked. She opened
the door a cleanign lady stood there.
"I'm here to clean up your bathroom."
"Yeah, okay, come in." The chick walked in and went to the bathroom. Kait sat
by Zac again.
"Who's that?"
"The chick to clean our bathroom."
"Oh. Can you lay here with me?"
"Sure." She crawled into the bed with him and lay on top of the covers.
"Get under the covers."
"It's hot."
"Take off your coat." She sat up, unzipped her coat, and took it off. Zac pulled
the covers up so she could crawl under with him. She layed beside him and put
her arm across his chest.
"Does that make you feel better?"
"Yes."
"How much better?"
"A lot."
"Yeah right, I don't believe you."
"It's the truth!"
"Liar!"
"Let's not get into the liar thing." There was a kock at the door.
"Come in! It's open!" Tay and I walked in.
"Where's the laundromat?" I asked.
"I don't know. Why?"
"We gotta wash Tay's pants and boxers."
"WHY?" Zac inquired.
"I...spilled juice on myself." Tay lied.
"Oh. I have no idea." Kait answered. Tay and I sat down. Zac turned on his side
and hugged Kait.
"What have you guys been up to?" Tay asked.
"Absolutely nothing." Kait said.
"Wow. Interesting." There was another knock.
"Come in!" Ike and Abby walked in.
"Why are you two hugging in that bed together if Zac is sick?"
"Cuz I wanted her to lay by me. I asked her to." Zac explained. "She makes me
feel better."
"I don't think you should be laying together at all."
"Ike! They're OUR lives!" Kait sat up and grabbed her coat.
"Kait, where are you going?" Zac asked.
"I can't stay here." She crawled out of the bed and found some blue flip-flops.
Zac sat up.
"Don't leave! I want you to stay with me!"
"I can't." She went out of the room and slammed the door.
"Ike, why do you have to be so mean to her? Go away!" He turned to face the wall
and curled up.
"Zac-"
"GO AWAY!!" Ike and Abby left, and Tay and I stayed until the cleaning lady
left, and then went back to our room.
