Just as Kait and Zac reached the Bunk Kait said, "Why don't we go pick
up some
food for everyone?"
"Where?"
"McDonald's."
"But, we always go there. It's gross."
"Where else is there to go?"
"Okay. We can go there." They made their way to the fast food place,
and ordered four cheeseburger
happy meals, all with cokes. They then went back to Zac's room and found
me sitting in
Taylor's lap. We were talking softly and didn't notice them come in.
"AHEM!!!"
We turned.
"Oh. Hey!" Tay said.
"Hi. Is everything okay between you two?" Kait asked. Zac stared at
Aairana's chest.
"Oh god! I have to look away. I have got to! That is my brother's
girl, and my girl's
best friend. Okay I'm looking away. I am!" Kait smacked him, making him
come out of
his daydream.
"ZAC!"
"What?"
"You were checking out my best friend!" Kait whispered in his ear.
"No I wasn't." He did it again. Tay suddenly sat in my lap facing out
and put his
arms out to the sides.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Covering you."
"Why?"
"'Cause Zac is staring at you." Zac and I both blushed deeply. Zac
turned away and
looked at Kait. There was a uncomfertable silence.
"Oh yeah, here's some food." Kait held it out.
"I can't get up and get it."
"He won't look again, if he does, I'll smack him again."
"He's my brother. I know him. He'll look. He's 12!!"
"I'll cover his eyes. WAIT! Why don't I just give it to you?"
"Fine." Kait handed us two boxes.
"Lets go to our room," She said to me.
"Okay!" Zac exclaimed.
"She meant just me and her. We have some 'things' to talk about."
"Yeah. Me." Tay said putting his arms down and looking at his hands. I
hugged
him briefly and started for the door. Kait leaned up and kissed Zac's
lips softly. We went
next door. As soon as we got into the room, I remembered I forgot my
bra.
"I forgot my bra in their room!"
"I'll go get it." Kait left the room and went into the other room.
"I was not staring!" She heard from Zac.
"Then where were your eyes?"
"The NECK!! Here, Kait will be on my side!"
"No I won't!! You were! Tay I need Airi's bra." Tay was holding onto
it tightly.
"No!!! It's mine! You can't have it."
"Tay. Just give it to me."
"No! It's the only thing I have of her right now."
"You have all of her. Didn't she forgive you?"
"Yeah. But she isn't here. And she doesn't really forgive me. If she
really did, she
would be right next to me."
"She just needs time to think by herself."
"Then why are you there?"
"Because it's my room! And she needs a girl to talk to."
"Fine." He handed Kait the black bra. "I guess I can give you the only
thing I have
of her. Tell her that I held it real close to my dick."
"YOU GUYS ARE FLIRTING!" Zac burst in.
"No, were not. Okay I'll make sure I tell her. Why don't you just look
at the poem
you wrote about her."
"Oh yeah, I'll go get it! HEY! How did you know about that?"
"I guess that's just my little secret! Oh, and Airi has read it!"
"Oh man." Tay was bright red. "She wasn't supposed to read that. Now
she
knows how I feel."
"Isn't that the point?"
"No!!"
"I told you it was stupid." Zac said.
"Did she like it? I hope she did."
"I don't know. She might have."
"KAITLYN!! Tell me please! I'll give you anything!"
"I can't!"
"Why not?"
"She doesn't want anything from you." Zac spoke up again.
"SHUT UP!" Tay and Kait both yelled.
"She hates it doesn't she?"
"No."
"So she likes it?" Kait turned and walked out of the room, giving Zac a
small kiss on the lips on her way out.
"TELL ME!" Kait walked into our room.
