Thomas Easton Sr. with his wife Mary Glaves and their son John Nelson Jr. and daughter Martha from Yorkshire England came to Canada in 1831. They settled in Nassagaweya, Halton County where their second daughter and three sons were born. In 1852 John Nelson jr. married Margaret Robson Lang from Scotland. Later they moved the family to a farm in Appleby, Nelson Township. Thomas, the son of John Easton 1 and his wife Elizabeth Prond, Alpton, England. His parents did not leave their home in England but Thomas and his wife Mary Glaves, of Yorkshire, England came to Canada in 1831 and settled in Nassagaweya, Halton with their two children.
