I was the fellow in the red lab coat standing next to Phil on August 28, 1994, when I saw his hands suddenly tremble as he lit the chanupa (sacred pipe) on the last of four rounds of the hundreds of people including lots of hippies pronouncing the sacred name for Mother Earth that he had us put to voice at that time, that Good Medicine Word that he taught us then at the main ceremony that day -- where the Rainbow Peace Pole for The White House was standing at the center of the huge circles of people, the day after the Rainbow Peace Pole for Jerusalem was introduced at that circle after its prayerful procession through all the camps ending with lightning and thunder at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ -- at that World Unity Festival and Drums Around the World encampment near the Grand Canyon, eight days after the first white buffalo calf was born.
